Here it is three weeks later, and our counters are still not correct. One piece was cut too short and in the wrong shape because of a mis-mesasurement. They tried to "trim" in on-site, sending granite dust all over our house. The result was a jagged-edge mess. Now here it is the weekend before Thanksgiving and we STILL do not have the counters correct, and have been told that they can't fix it in time for Thanksgiving. We're furious, to say the least.

They make selections easy and they were helpful with finding small remnants at a great price. They have an amazing slab selection onsite and can get other needs quickly as well. Each member of the team corresponded in a timely manner, worked well with scheduling between cabinet installs, and was on time for each separate install. This was a small job but on our end we had to install the vanities separately for different reasons, so they worked right along with our schedule and made no complaints. I have had several granite tops over the years. Yours was the worse. Had you at least giving me the one I picked it nay have been better. You chose to give me junk. I have advised all my friends looking for new countertops to avoid your company and will continue to do so. I have to look at that awful countertop. As soon as I can I will replace.

This is off by over 1/4 inch. We have had to order fireplace doors at an extra cost of $2600 to cover the uneven edges. This is only a sample of the other installations Upstate Granite did in our house. A very stressful and lengthy process to even get to this point. Don't recommend. Every step of our process was stressful and exasperating.

We will be calling on Chris again, hopefully soon for an outdoor kitchen! We still haven't moved into the house yet, so these photos really don't do justice to how beautiful these truly are. Kitchen is quartzite and bathrooms are granite. We selected the stones from Slabco in TR. Chris picked up the ones we wanted, measured and confirmed exactly what we wanted, cut the templates at his shop, and installed them within about a week - 10 days! We decided to extend the granite in the master bathroom to cover the space under where cabinets will go, and Chris came back really quickly to do the work - again at a good price, and again at fantastic quality. We also had an issue where the sink drains we'd chosen required more space. Chris was super responsive and was able to come over the same day to widen the drain holes in minutes. Cleaned up after himself too even though others were leaving messes. Can't say enough good things about the guy. He'sa pleasure to work with. Thank you Chris and team!

My wife and I were approached to do a Designer Showcase project in historic downtown…read moreHendersonville, NC. During the project (which had a tight time table and required hard dates in order to make the opening happen on time for ticket purchasers), we approached Stone Connection and the granite yard about the project. We selected granite slabs (2) and paid in full with a firm schedule for fabrication of the granite counter tops. The slabs were transferred to Stone Connection where they were held until fabrication was to begin. One week prior to the fabrication date, Stone Connection demanded another $780 or they refused to complete the contract. We objected and cited the contract terms. Their response was that they would not honor the contract unless we agreed to the extra amount - and they were fully paid and in custody of our stone. We attempted to find another fabricator but with only one week, no way to recover our money without litigation, and no granite since they were in possession of our slabs, we had no choice but to pay their ransom fee. I would highly recommend that no one use this company and that they not pay for anything prior to work being completed.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I put a deposit down on a countertop with this company. They never…read morecame and measured or did any legwork. The house I was purchasing to get the countertop Installed in fell through. Jayson my sales person would not return my call or text after he knew I wanted to cancel the order. It took me three days to get a hold of the manager. I called them immediately after I knew the purchase was falling through. They would not give me a refund of any kind said I could have a store credit for the $900 they took from me. The issue with that is I'm not purchasing a house so that does no one any good except the the company that took $900 from me and is keeping all the money did absolutely nothing to earn. The general manager called me back. I believe his name was Chris. He proceeded to tell me that it's "company policy" that they can offer refunds at any time. If anyone has understanding about business they know a small company or even big company get overridden all the time. Do not get caught up in the BS with this company. I'm sure this company does great work but the way they do business is not OK!
