They did a very good job the last two times I need a shower enclosure and a bathtub enclosure so I reach out to them for my current project. I went in and met Larry. I described my project and a project for my son. Larry drafted up quotes pretty quickly. The timeline to measure, order and install was a lot quicker than I expected. Beth who works the front office and helps with installs scheduled Vegas to come out and take actual measurements a few business days after I called to complete my order. The shower enclosure for my current project and some additional work I needed on our master bath was scheduled for the following week. Vega and Beth came out to do the installation. One of the best experiences I have had with remodeling work! I shopped shop other companies for a quote and this was the most competitive. I found Bath Concepts from one of the monthly Tri-Valley ads. I decided to call on a whim and spoke to Larry. I sent photos and he guesstimated the cost based on the existing. Once we had the shower done, I decided to check back and our quote still stood as the same. Once I called in to take measurements, that meant I was hiring them and asked to place a 50% deposit. I was expecting the door to take 2-3 weeks but because the order was placed before COB, the door was available in a week. I originally scheduled for a Thursday but due to our schedules, I had to push it out. However, they had an opening yesterday and had my door installed. The crew was courteous and worked around my contractor. The door was installed in an hour and we were good to go. I handed over a check for the remaining balance. Keep looking buy else where so you can get a good quality product, a warranty on the work, good customer service, and a pleasant experience. Home improvement are a luxury and shouldn't leave you feeling frustrated as a customer. I Purchased a shower door shield from them several years ago and recently noticed the water had been seeping out side the tub and damaged my wall near the tub in the corner. After consultation with a plumber and 2 highly rated shower door companies they all gave the same advice and recommendation for a fix. I then called Bay Concepts and was immediately told they did not have proof I bought from them even tho I have all receipts! I was lectured about how it was my fault and then offered a home visit to see the problem with a $400.00 fee to replace the rubber seals. I was told they have issues with this product type of frameless door but wasn't told this at the time of purchase nor was I told how to maintain rubber seals. I'm not a shower door expert! He said changing one seal would be very tricky again not my expertise. He was patronising and repeated the $400.00 was a deal! Shop elsewhere. read more

Installers solved a problem with a new shower door opening for my brother's new bathroom. The door could no open as wide as it should have because the floor slope was to back too far causing the door to drag and not open all the way. These great installers swung the door to the inside as well as, as far back as it would go to the inside making it an ideal entrance. Creativity in solving a problem is so much better than the standard these days, "sorry nothing I can do about it." This company did a shower installation for me over 20 years ago and my sister a year ago. You will not be disappointed, I promise. read more

Like so many people who have reviewed this business, I have an issue with the owner. He came to do the measurements and proceeded to bash my contractor - who is perhaps the best one that I've used (and I've fully renovated 12 houses so far). The installation went okay. The crew was polite. Things looked good until we actually used the shower. There was a large glob of caulk on the shower floor and, worse, there was either adhesive or etching on the glass that couldn't be removed. We called and left two messages and finally got a call back a week later. The owner was demeaning to my wife and unwilling to address the problem. Although he was aware of the problem ("it does come up from time to time."), he said they weren't responsible for anything that is revealed by the shower steam. Of course, when we reread all his disclaimers there wasn't any mention of this. We asked how to fix it and he went on to tell us everything that might break the warranty. He even said, "We're not Merry Maids." All we wanted was to know what to use. It is sad to know that a business owner chooses to conduct himself in such an unprofessional manner. I've waited 4-5 months before posting so I could get a better sense if all was ok. So far, so good. Had a terrible experience even getting an estimate from Loews so turned to Bath Concepts. Walked in and explained we wanted a frameless shower door on barn door style wheels. The woman helping us was very competent and wrote down all our options. We loved the door and the price beat Loews by $1k. I think the owner came out to measure and then a week or so later, two guys came to install it. Every step was smooth and professional. We absolutely love the door. Rolls so smoothly and is near 7 ft tall so no water escapes. Highly recommend. read more

The glass shower enclosure we ordered was scheduled to be installed on November 17th. It was unable to be installed due to a manufacturing error. The technicians told me a new piece would have to be created but that it would be rushed, and would be made and installed much faster than the first. The scheduler called and said he soonest it could be installed was the 29th. I explained that this was unacceptable, and that the technicians had informed me it would be much faster than that. She said there was nothing that could be done. When I asked how we would be compensated for the error, she said "there is no way to compensate you", apparently forgetting that I had actually paid money for this, and an easy and simple gesture would be $100 off or something if the kind. Stand behind your work and company. If you are unable to do so, then change the way you do business instead of giving the middle finger to the customer. read more

Larry was a pleasure to work with and we are pleased with our shower enclosure. They were referred to us buy our contractor who works with them often. During COVID concerns and supply chain shortages, everything is a little more tricky but none of that delayed or impacted our installation. I was able to get an estimate remotely from my measurements and photos that I sent to him, the installers came in did a precise measurement then installed within 2 weeks. They did a fantastic job. Had a frameless Enclosure placed in 2014. Replacing a a Builder placed enclosure that had been there for 9 years. My wife likes a Frameless look so we replaced the original builder shower even though it was perfect. Fast forward 2 years, mold is developing under the seal of the Enclosures installed by this company. I contacted the company and was told to fix the issue myself. I told them my original Builder installed shower had no such issues after 9 years. No response. Think Twice about using this company as they don't stand behind their work. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Larry the owner, is RUDE, Unprofessional, and accused me of lying when I called to say that after they installed our shower door, one of the hinges was scratched. I was not here for the installation, but our contractor was. When I got home from work, I noticed the hinge was scratched, the door handle had a spot, and the silicone strip on the side door was not installed properly. When I called Larry about it, he didn't believe me and said that the technician's always note any problems before they leave. And nothing had been noted. I had to fight him to get them come out and fix the errors. It took them 3 times to make the shower glass door look like it should plus my extra time and discourteous treatment.. It was the most unpleasant experience I had with our bedroom/bathroom addition. I would never recommend them to ANYONE, and I let Larry know that he needs some lessons on Customer Service skills if he expects to have customers. We bought our house a few years and found the original receipts left by the owners for a bathroom remodel. The Alumax shower door was purchased from Bath Concepts so I called them when I need to replace some of the nylon inserts. I sent an email initially which he (Larry) responded to (which is great). When we spoke on the phone he agreed to call me on a Saturday and I'd drive over and we'd see if we could order the parts. When I didn't hear from him that Saturday I called and he said he had forgotten (no problem). He said he made a note and would not forget the following Saturday. I never heard from him. That was a couple of months ago. No one was rude as some reviews have indicated. It was just a waste of my time and follow through is important to me. I also cannot recommend the Alumax doors. These nylon parts are the long skinny parts that act as seals to keep water inside the shower. But the doors are designed such that you cannot easily replace these parts which become moldy or lose their shape after 5-10 years. I removed what I could but had to sheer a magnet loose to access one. Another had a frozen screw and another could not be removed without considerable surgery. read more

The lady who answers the phone and makes appointments is probably the most uninterested, disengaged, unhelpful person in the company. She is a poor representative for the company and the owner defends her. Must be a relative. It is unfortunate that she taints the perception for all future contact with the company. Shower door is now 4 years old and it works great. No major issues but the bottom of the doors plastic seal is hard to clean and had to use silicone to keep it in place. The install staff was great, Larry was a grumpy old man but he knew what he was talking about. read more

Goes above and beyond. Had a really beautiful set of frameless doors installed over a year ago. The install team was great. Very polite and patient with my young children who insisted on watching and asked a million questions. Developed a small issue with the vinyl, which was out of warranty. I will update progress as it happens but here some details to date: - Customer service is great and they are very good at communicating status of the job. 5- stars. - The quote they provided was accurate, the day and time window of installation they gave me was accurate and both the quoting team as well as the installers that arrived were extremely friendly and seemed knowledgeable. 5- stars I am so far pleased, BUT When the installers arrived, they discovered that the glass supplier/maker made one of the pieces the wrong size. The installers were apologetic (though it was clearly not their fault) and informed me that the owner was going to put a rush on my job and would be in contact me that day for re-scheduling. Though I did not receive that call the same day, I left a message, and was contacted the next day - I can live with that. However, the disappointment came when I was told it was going to be almost another 2 weeks before they could re-schedule which leaves us without our master bath. That is as much lead time as was originally quoted and does not seem to be on a "rush job". So overall I am pleased with Bath Concepts and I will update this overall rating after completion of my job, which I am hoping will be on (or hopefully BEFORE) my new quoted date. We recently used this company to replace a shower door. They advertise that you will get 40% off with their coupon. This is a joke because the owner told me everyone receives the deal, in essence their price is their price. Owner , who is extremely rude and condescending tried to up-sell me on several features that I had no interest in. If I didn't ask I would have paid more. The guys who install are wonderful so they have that going for them. Product is pretty good, owner is terrible to deal with. read more

Paid using credit card before the job. Asking for receipt and invoice. The person who did the job told me to ask the office to provide the receipt. When i called the office, she told me that it si handled by accounting department and she cannot help any further since it is out of the city. She refused to call the accounting department, neither willing to give me any contact information for that department. I cannot believe that a business will not offer a receipt or invoice for their customer. And very rude attitudes over the phone. Watch out, particularly AFTER the job is done. I will not recommend it to anyone. It does NOT take care of its customers. They are obviously only want to take one time job, no long term in their mind. read more

These guys were great. They originally installed my clear glass shower stall and came back 10 years later and completely resealed the door and replace the sweep on the bottom. When they noticed that the tile was graduated the wrong way they installed a new metal sweep that would counteract that to avoid leaking on to my floor. $226 for the repair and all parts. Took them only about 30 mins to do it (2 guys) but worth it. read more

They gave me a quote, I accepted. They came to install, yanked down my temporary shower curtain scratching the tile permanently and denied it. Then after they left it began to leak. They said it was my fault, tile guys didn't install at an angle that should make water go away from door vs towards it, said I was slamming door but they would come reseal. They came and it literally has leaked every shower since. Now I write this today probably almost a year later because it is now leaking in a new spot. One star because it looks great and they did come out once but didn't help. read more
