If I could give a negative star, I would. B&BW told me several times my order would arrive on time, didn't arrive, called back, said next day. I'd ordered for delivery in ample time before I was leaving the country on vacation. After being reassured countless times that the parcel would arrive on time, I did not receive it. When I returned 7 days later, tracking showed it had been delivered however it had not. B&BW said my items were out of stock and they would give me a refund. I wanted my items, not a refund. I will never shop with that company again! read more

This Bath & Body Works is not big. One of the smaller one but its probably because real estate downtown is expensive and stores located downtown are usually smaller. So they have the same sales and any other BBW. Selections is smaller here. Staff are friendly. No free parking here. Most people come here by train. read more

I had always had to got to The US to buy it, then about a year and a half ago i noticed it in Alberta. Was thrilled when it opened in Pacific Center! There are a huge variety of scents and products, from foaming anti bacterial hand soap (both waterless and rinse able) to wonderful silky smooth body lotions. Usually some deal or sale going on- plus on every receipt there is a short phone in survey. Take it and write down the reference number. When you return it to store, they will give you 10$ off of 30$ purchase !!AND you can use this in conjunction with the other sales and promos. I have gotten so many great deals and gifts here it is always a happy fragrant shopping destination! read more

I love their products especially the liquid hand soaps with cleansing beads. After I wash my hand with some, they always feel clean and germ free. The smell is a bonus! I recently bought some candles on sale for 75% off. Regular price was $22 and I bought them for $5. They burned really well and have the most amazing scents. So not only do they have great products, (sometimes they can be expensive when not on sale) but they have great customer service. The sales staff are helpful in explaining their products and were happy to do so. I even over-heard them talking to another lady at the cash register. She was going to buy 6 of the same items. They talked her into buying the combo set which was basically the same thing, but cheaper so she will save money. I like that. It's not always about the up-selling. read more

Another great American store that has made its way to Vancouver. I absolutely love Bath & Body Works and their products. I am currently addicted to the warm vanilla sugar products at the moment. They smell oh so good which means you smell oh so good when you use them. Yay for smelling good! I also love, love, love their lip glosses. Ok, enough about my loves. Bath & Body Works is also good to pick up a quick present for someone when you are looking for a gift. They usually have a great selection of already made up gift baskets in a variety of sizes. Just go, pick up the the scent you think someone will enjoy and the size of the gift basket and you are good to go. Nice and simple. read more

This store is great. I went here to avail of their special pricing when they opened and they were very prepared this time versus when Bath & Bodyworks opened in Richmond, BC (where there were no usual Bath & Bodyworks bags for the customers to dump the items and the line to the cashier was a mess and a confusion). I've been coming back to this store to replenish our kitchen and bathroom hand soaps and their packaging and scent offering is always getting better. The staff make their best effort in helping customers out if only to greet you from when entering. They're there to offer you the blue net bags and are eager to tell you what the specials are that week. I still am a little bit averse with the pricing which I have to fault our government for imposing various taxes from the importer to the retails and onto the consumer. Not to mention their effort in having to re-label the products to include French. I do wish their specials are at par with the US counterpart. They deserve 4 stars for now with the above fact as well as the fact that they still have to improve on their system in lining up to the cashier. There are multiple short lines that essentially make the customers lining up block the other customers shopping. It's still a mess, but I can only hope they improve from here. read more

Why hello, Bath and Body Works... fancy meeting you here. Like an oasis in the dessert a failed attempt at finding the perfect white sandal landed me in front of Bath & Body Works. I was on the phone with my fella discussing when I would be home.... "I might be a while" So glad to have my favorite bath product store in Vancouver I went directly in to enjoy the inviting scents. They were having a hand soap promo (5 for $20) and being out of stock I picked up 5 immediately - all nice freshing scents which I fear may be seasonal but I don't care anyways. Shopping easily could have gotten out of hand but I exerise some self restraint as I have product coming out the proverbial ying yang I need to use before replenishing. So with all the love why not five stars? While the product and service were both great two points lose one star for me: 1. While the merchandising is brilliant as always, there is just so much for the size of the store. It's overwhelming for someone like myself who lacks an attention span. 2. As with so many American retailers the Canadian store price gouge by pricing according to very out of date exchange rates. Boo urns! There are several different brands of candles so this promo is for a particular line and let me tell you, it has the best fresh scents! No frou frou old lady stuff. Not really impressed with the other body care products. But these candles are wicked!! read more

I love Bath & Body Works but wished some of their lotions were less greasy. What I do buy incessantly are the hand soaps, my hubbys smelly stuff and car fresheners. I wish that they made some of the bath & shower liquids into bars. I love the smells but am not good with gels etc. I will say that shopping here during the Christmas season is not something I want to do in the near future and if my husband hadn't run out I would not have stepped in there. I hate when everything runs out at this time of year because malls drive me crazy AND Richmond is no better on a good day :)! I love BBW and will definitely be back and am praying to the BBW gods that solid bar soaps are coming out soon, especially in their aromatherapy line. read more

#30dayosyelp 20/30 Solid 3.5. When I shopped in the states ago, I couldn't wait until this store came to Vancouver. They have candles, shower gel, body lotion and their anti bacterial soaps. I do really like the scents and the fact that they do go sales very often so purchasing them is more affordable. What I don't like is that all their soaps are anti-bacterial. I've read and heard that using anti bacterial soaps too often isn't really good for you. Apparently it could created drug resistant super mutant germs; I am not really sure if this is really true but I do wish they offered non anti-bacterial soaps since I do like their soap scents and the prices (when they are on sale). The check out is little bit crowded with extra shelves for their products. So sometimes it gets confusing as to where the line is to purchase especially when there are other people waiting. I signed up for their email updates so I do get notifications when stuff goes on promotion. It's a good way to know when the deals are. read more

I love Bath and Body Works for its candles and hand soaps. Depending on currency exchange rates, sometimes it's cheaper to buy online and have your order shipped, and sometimes it's better to buy in-store, especially when they have 2 for $22 3-wick candles. I also like to visit brick and mortar locations when I want to try a new fragrance. This store gets three stars because of its size and lack of stock. When I see an item online and want to check it out in-store, and it's not an online exclusive, I expect it to be there. It's about consistency, people. I shouldn't have to hunt down something that I want to buy. If you don't make it easy on me, I won't spend my money with you. The staff are friendly here, as they are at other B&BW locations. I found them to be slightly less engaging than the folks at Metrotown and Richmond Centre, but once you grab someone and ask for assistance, they'll help you with a smile. read more

I used to have to go all the way down to the States to shop here, therefore, when I found out that they were branching out here in Vancouver, I was awesomely happy, however, quickly I was disappointed. If you're looking for bath things like shower gels, soaps and bathbeads...this is not the place. The word "bath" in the title is a little misleading. This store is mostly lotions, regular and anti-bacterial, candles and air fresheners. Hence the confusion of the "bath and body works" title. They should name it "fragrant home works" The products are of decent quality, however, you can find something cheaper with the same ingredients. The scent library is amazing. Pushy, rude sales people. Overbearing, cloyingly sweet scents. Greasy hand lotion. Wallflowers that leak everywhere. Crappy, flimsy packaging. The only thing I might consider buying here now are the non antibacterial shower gels and the candles. For higher-quality, yet still inexpensive scents I would stick with the Body Shop. Anything else you can find an equivalent at any supermarket or drugstore. read more

We have been Bath and Body Works shoppers for years ... in the States, and will continue to do so until the prices are at parity. Today there is a promo in Canada for 4 anti-bacterial hands soaps for $20. In the States it's 6 for $20. Now, you might say, that's only about $1.67 difference per bottle, but really it's actually a 56% increase! While I am happy to see the US retailers finally recognizing our market up here, I refuse to be gouged. I mean really, most days lately we are the stronger currency. Makes you wonder how much a soap will be if the rate falls to $0.69 again? Boycott until they get the idea. read more

I really like the Bath and Body Works lotions, so I rushed to go stock up when this store finally opened in Vancouver. The first time I went, I was bombarded from all sides by several salesgirls. They were extremely awkward, overzealous, and somewhat annoying with the memorized sales pitches and lines. It would have been tolerable if only one or two of the salesgirls approached me, but the store was crawling with them and any time I came within a ten foot radius of one, I'd have to repeatedly say, "I'm just browsing, no I don't need any help, thank you." It was like trying to shake a dog from a bone. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because the store was newly opened and overly enthusiastic new staff are to be expected. I have many years of retail experience myself, so I understand what it's like. I went to the store again last week, and to my great annoyance, the salesgirls were exactly the same way. One salesgirl seemed to be following me around the store, when I'd already told her that I didn't need any help. She kept hovering near me, piping up with another pitch every time I so much as glanced in her general direction. Then a second girl closed in, and repeated the same exact pitch that the first girl had already given me. The cashier was no less pushy, insisting that I give her my email address even after I told her I'd already given it before, and yes, I was already receiving all their promotions junk mail. She scowled at me when I told her I was kind of in a hurry and needed to go. The reason I think this store gets three stars is their products. I love the selection of scents. But the management and service of this store get one star. Have faith in your products and let them speak for themselves. Don't chase a guaranteed sale like me out of the store with pushy sales tactics. read more
