This review I am going to break down into two parts. The first part will be oriented towards the men's deodorant selection that Bath & Body Works has. The second part which will come in as an update at a later time will be about the soaps I have purchased from them. I am at the end of the selection of the men's deodorants and have tried the fragrances of Freshwater, The Graphite , Noir, Bourbon, Ocean and Teakwood. I have gotten spoiled and like to try different fancier deodorants as well as different brands and this was my first experience delving deeply into the deodorant's that Bath & Body Works has. If I can I get organic brands but they don't always have the protection that is needed for day to day activities. Well, I can report on the deodorants and antiperspirants for men at least the selections I picked to be very good and gave me the protection and fresh smelling fragrances for the entire day. As far as which one's I liked best those were Ocean, Freshwater and Noir. Noir had a good muskiness but wasn't overpowering or anything like that. So all in all a good experience exploring these antiperspirants and deodorants. I am looking forward to doing the soap chapter update and I am eager to see what varieties and fragrances I like best there in that section. read more

Ordered online and pick-up window was SIMPLE! Sometimes I prefer shopping online, as I know what I like and am a thrifty-shopper. The foaming hand soaps were on sale and I needed to re-stock my supplies at home as I have one in each bathroom and in the kitchen. I prefer the seasonal-scents, so I don't tend to have extra-inventory at home on hand When supplies are low, I look for the sales and get the scents I love. When I buy online, I used to have to wait in line at Bath & Bodywork's, but they've recently remodeled this store where there's a special "online pickup here" window. Love it! Parking at the mall is easy and picking up is easy. Everything I ordered was in the bag, super simple and zero shipping charges and ready for pickup about an hour after I'd ordered online! read more

I walked in the store and got a air room spray and turned around two employees were following me making faces watching me the lady with a blond pony tail and the other woman with some curly short hair woman, taking on there ear pieces like I was going to steal. That shit is weird don't assume because I'm young black woman im going to steal that shit made me feel so Uncomfortable and ill not be supporting this location. I love bath and body works. I usually buy my products online because it's more convenient. Last week a friend and I were shopping the mall for some Christmas gifts and decided to buy some candles too. At the time, there was a sale on the single wick candles. One of the managers welcomed us into the store and told us about the sale, to which we said thank you, but continued to look at the three wick candles. She then got upset and told us that "single wick candles are just as good as the three wick, and last the same amount of time". We smiled and kept looking at the three wick candles. She then asked us why we were "so picky, as her sister lives in an apartment and uses the single wick candles all the time, and they smell just as strongly". Ok dude... chill.... nobody's arguing about how good single wick candles are, that's just not what we are interested in buying. We proceeded to look at soaps, as a special coupon was emailed to customers making soaps $2.95. I verified with a different employee that I could use the email from my phone for the promotion. She said yes, and said as long as the barcode is visible that I could use any coupons from my phone, but that I would have to separate my transactions since coupons aren't stackable. Ok that's fine. I got in line and was helped by a really nice, new, employee. You could tell she was still getting the swing of things but she did her best to ring me up in separate transactions in a timely manor. When I showed her my digital coupons (which has been verified by an employee at the front) she questioned if she was allowed to apply them to my transactions. I told her a different employee had confirmed that it could be used. As she went to scan my coupons, the manager who has previously been harassing me about single wick candles came up to the counter SCREAMING. She said that we don't accept digital coupons and that I would have to pay the full price. Here's the thing. I don't mind paying the extra $2 because my coupon wasn't physical. What I do mind is customer service. I should not feel embarrassed or disrespected when buying products from your store. There were much better ways to handle that transaction. Even the girl ringing me up was stunned and apologetic. She said I might be able to come in with my coupons printed out and my receipt for a price adjustment- at this point I just wanted to leave. BBW- please hire new management. Your products are nice, but who you choose to represent you is not. read more

It's crazy reading all the bad reviews. Every time I go to Bath and body works I always have a great experience. All the girls there always go out of their way to make sure that I find the products that I need or want for my loved ones. New management seems great compared to last year. I love love love this place! I signed up for my email alerts and get things in the mail all the time for discounts and free items! I am in here at least once a month to pick up a plethora of things! I use the wallflowers year round and they always have them on clearance and for $3.50 instead of $6.50! That I can handle. I love the many scents they have for lotion, body mist and scrubs. They have foam soap and manly lotions/scents also! The seasonal smells are great as well! You can find just what you are looking for and so much to choose from. I like coming in and getting the freebies and all the "mini" items! I keep a stash on hand for gifts on the fly! Love this store! read more

I LOVE(D) bath and body works and I shop there ALL the time! Do you hear me?!? ALL the time!!!!! I spend hundreds of dollars monthly on bath and body works! So much so that I have a "bath and body works" closet! People tell me I have a problem! I've never had a bad experience until today! I got an email for $2.95 hand soaps and I went in to get the hand soaps and the woman checking me out told me I couldn't use the coupon on top of the $2.95 ok that's fine whatever it's their policy which I understand. Well I told her to return the coupon so I could use it another day and she told me she'd ripped them up I was going to use all 3 coupons that I get in the mail for my frequent flyers program or whatever they wanna call them and she ripped them all up. Then she had a sarcastic attitude when I was visibly angry but trying to keep my composure because I felt she was being rude. Then I call customer service to see if they can send me another set of coupons and she also had horrible customer service and "can't do nothing for me". So moral of the story is don't hand them your coupons if you wanna use them because their policy is ridiculous and they wait until the end of the transaction and the coupons are ripped to let you know you can't use them. I spend too much money for them to not be able to do anything for me. I'm over it. read more

This location is just as offensive to my nasal passages as any other B&BW or any smelly good store. That being said, we love their foamy hand soap and have stocked the entire house with it. Some of the scents are completely overwhelming, but the eucalyptus and mint and lavender are perfect for anywhere in the house. The hand gels are also great, with the right scent. With that being said, the lotion here is not great. It always leaves my hands feeling greasy and the smell is super intense for 15 minutes, then non-existent. The candles have a distinct waxy smell to me. The body wash is okay and I neither love nor hate it. The staff are hit or miss as far as helpfulness to hover ratio. I do love their new technology where they can check me out anywhere in the store, like Apple. read more

OK I am a guy but I still like pleasant smelling soap - so occasionally I venture into this store. I have always found them to be friendly and greet you as you come in. They also ask if they can help you and actually do help you. Seems like the soaps are always on sale so I am not really sure if it is a sale or the regular price. Came in here yesterday around 11 to buy a couple candles. Was greeted by 2 separate employees (I think one was the manager), both with obviously annoyed attitudes. As I'm walking to the register, a disgruntled employee asks if I need a basket and I say "no". So she storms off and yells "OH MY GOD CAN I GO HOME NOW". Why would I need a basket to carry 2 candles when I'm already on my way to the register lol. Chill, cardi-b. 1 star for complete lack of common sense and sad attitudes. read more

Bath & Body Works is my favorite place to shop for hand soap. They have a great variety of anti-bacterial soaps in lots of yummy fragrances. Some of the ones I usually pick up are Warm Vanilla Sugar, Coconut Lime Verbena, and Kitchen Lemon. There are lots of holiday scents available such as Vanilla Bean Noel and Winter Candy Apple. You have to stock up around the holidays for those, though. They are only offered seasonally. Bath & Body is good about having promotions for their anti-bacterial soaps, so you can usually get a good deal if you buy in bulk (ex. 4 for $15 or 6 for $20). They typically offer coupons to save $10 on a $30 purchase, so there is always a great chance for savings. If you're looking for more than hand soaps, they have a ton of body products such as lotion and shower gel. They even carry candles. Great place to do your gift shopping! read more
