They are animal quality free, vegan and use natural ingredients. I had a friend that had an itchy scalp. I suggested Aveda. I took her because they have a machine that magnifies your scalp and they can look and tell what's going on with it. So they showed her what she needed, which was hair serum and a special shampoo and conditioner, and now her scalp never itches she said. She even had previously gone to Dermatologist and all of the things they offered never seem to help her. My Mom as well use to use it. She had psoriasis, and this was the only shampoo and conditioner that didn't irritate her scalp, but rather calmed and soothed it. Go check out their products and if you fall in love with them, make sure to get on the membership program because it's well worth it. They are very generous with their gifts and coupons.

She said yes as long as I exchanged from the same area. I left, brought them home and looked at the receipt, and it was not itemized. I tried to figure out the tax but it did not add up to 159.01. My daughter tried on the clothes and some did not fit so I returned today to exchange them. I picked out the items to exchange. I said by the way can I get an itemised receipt for yesterday? She said no and that she did not have time to do it. I said it would not take to long, we can itemise and figure out the tax. She was getting belligerent, and said I don't have time for this! I said it would only take 5 minutes, and she said I want you leave this store now! I think now I was ripped off, and all I want an itemised receipt. my purchase was 41.00, 41.00, 39.00, 50% off for 12.47 and 40% off for 13.17 as it will state on the register. I believe this is not good customer service and this is not right. I told her that I wanted to speak to a manager because this was unbelievable to me, she said she was the manager and my sister is the owner. This incident occurred near closing time (around 6:00 PM) with the associate assigned to the front door preparing for store close. I was looking for a product that was not available on the shelf. After receiving no assistance, I opened a bottom drawer to retrieve the item. The associate immediately approached, forcefully kicked the drawer shut, and reprimanded me in a condescending and demeaning manner. I was made to feel embarrassed and unwelcome rather than helped. This behavior was unprofessional and reflects a serious lack of training and leadership. No customer should be shamed in a retail environment for attempting to complete a purchase. I spent over $150 during this visit and have been a loyal Sephora customer since 2011. Experiences like this are exactly why long-term customers choose to stop shopping in-store. I will not be returning to this location and will opt for delivery or another store instead.
