Review Highlights - SEPHORA

I've been to many Sephora locations, including some of them inside JC Penney stores, but those are never nearly as nice or full-service as the larger sized mall stores.

I love walking into the store and seeing all the handcrafted items such as soaps, bath bombs and masks they have on display. These kind of things give the store a very natural, homemade down to earth kind of feel to it and I feel more relaxed looking around. They have so many items available for your entire body: hair, face, feet, hands, teeth, lips, deodorant and skin and I love that they are all natural ingredients! The happy happy joy joy conditioner I bought has been the best conditioner I've ever used in my life. EVER! I've never felt my hair so soft before and it's wonderful. I have also purchased a shampoo bar which was just as amazing. I am really loving the fact that I don't have to fool with a bottle anymore and that should also come in handy the next time I get on a plane. I had my doubts in the beginning if this small round bar would lather up enough so that I could wash my hair with it but it went above and beyond leaving my hair clean, tingly and refreshed. My other purchase was a lotion bar (again no more bottles) that when held in your hand and conformed to room temperature softens up enough that I can just rub it wherever I need it. The employee at the store mentioned that it was really good to use after getting out of the shower, with your skin still damp, so that it could lock in any extra moisture. All I know is that everything I've purchased from here has been amazing and good for my hair and skin so far. The store employees are also very knowledgeable and generous in supplying me with several samples of items to take home after each visit. The products at Lush aren't cheap but the old saying of "you get what you pay for" is definitely true when it comes to the products found here. These products are definitely worth it!!

The candles and jewelry were amazing, and I had already made a decision to buy but wanted to take in everything else they had in store. I realize the staff has spoken to every single person who came in behind me, and I do mean every one -- and traffic was in and out. Meanwhile, I'm actually shopping . The young lady who had been behind the counter passed me up completely . . . goes to the other two young ladies not more than 5 steps away from me and proceeded to proactively tell them about additional aviators they had available. I turned to look at her, because maybe . . . she didn't notice me. She turns and passes me again and just says "excuse me." This is a small location, a boutique type shop that you really can't miss anyone in. I let her know that I was actually looking for something and that no one had said anything. There weren't but a few of us inside by now. She answered with "oh sorry, we've been so busy." But certainly not too busy for the 20 folks who had been in and out behind me - greeted with a smile once I noticed and offered help. Sure - I looked around at the now empty place, thanked her and walked out. My Amex spends like anyone else's but perhaps I didn't look like anyone of the other customers. This type of blatant "overlooking" and poor customer experience is 1000% unacceptable these days.
