I carry tension in my upper back and often told by other massage therapists that my back and shoulders are tight with knots. Because of this, I do my best to get massages on a regular basis. Well, if you are anything like me, this is the place for you! John-Paul is gifted at assessing your needs and targeting areas in your body that require special techniques with the perfect amount of pressure. He added the Rosewood aromatherapy, which definitely enhanced the experience. As he massaged and kneaded my back, I could feel my body releasing stress and tension. I ended the service after about 35 minutes. The response afterward was frustrating. I was told I could not adjust the charge because I had booked the wrong type massage, was offered a discount for a future visit despite living out of town, and paid the full $180. The owner later offered a 50% refund, but I only received $65 and still have not received a follow-up call. The spa itself has a lot of potential, but the service and follow-through did not meet expectations. Be sure to carefully review treatment descriptions before booking.

She confirmed our services then handed us warm robes (yes they were toasty) and slides and escorted us to the locker rooms. She asked if we wanted mocktails or water and we opted for water, which she brought us promptly. We then had a choice to use the sauna or soak our feet and we opted for the foot soak. You can do both, you don't have to pick one or the other. The foot soak was fine, nothing fancy. But relaxing. I suggest you get there early to try the sauna and foot soak. Right at our appointment time, our massage therapists came and got us and we headed to our couples massage. The massage was for 55 minutes, and it was absolutely perfect. We were in the same room and we both had ladies that were very attentive and made sure we were comfortable at all times. They checked in with us on the pressure and how we were feeling and I really appreciated that. After the massage, we both had a facial but in separate rooms. They were great! We left there feeling so clean and exfoliated. On another note- The locker rooms are gorgeous with large changing rooms, a shower, a sauna, bathroom stalls and lockers for your clothes. Along with complimentary toiletries like tampons, hair ties, makeup remover wipes and lots of nice lotions and soaps. The showers had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I did get to see the men's as well, there were no men there and it was just as nice. They also had complimentary toiletries and a stocked shower. After talking about our experience together, we decided that we wouldn't change a thing. I will give a word of advice to the ladies- the massage therapist does massage your scalp and will get massage oil in your hair so be prepared to have oily crazy hair when you are done lol. That being said, you can shower there so you can be ready for your day. All in all it was a 10/10 for us and we will definitely go back.
