This is terrifying. The staff low key harass you until you buy stuff. The hand sanitizer is nice though. Everything is overpriced.

Negative: -Unfriendly, cold and sometimes rude staff. Analysis: The store has been in business for many years and has become a staple in the GTA spiritual community. The selection of items is very wide and broad and there is probably something for everyone and most things you would ever need on your spiritual path. They have one of the largest collection of crystals I've seen in most spiritual shops, they offer beads which is interesting. The Native American items they offer are of questionable authenticity, some look more mass machine produced rather than hand made. Prices are good if your on a budget, or simply don't want to break your bank account on your way to enlightenment. The overall energy in the store is neither good nor bad, but it can become bad and unwelcoming at times. Perhaps they should consider cleansing the store. The staff is knowledgeable enough about spiritual topics, you should be able to get most of your questions answered reliably. Although the staff is very cold, and sometimes outright rude in my experience. I usually only visit the store out of necessity than outright loyalty as there are more friendly stores in the GTA. They offer services and from what I gather classes and workshops but I have never heard anything about them. Overall the store suits many needs and is a decent place to shop, but it isn't my cup of tea.

Also well stocked with fabulous decoration for every reason. The owners are incredible - knowledgeable, kind, and extremely grateful for your business. I stock up every time I go - and this is a destination spot for holiday shopping of all types. Highly recommended for the consumer that loves to support local businesses, but also for the refined shopper that needs to find the "special touch" to make their living room, dining room, or bedroom "pop" with style and flair.

First off they carry the Lamp Berger products (lamps/fragrance holders). These are a French based company going back to the early 1900s and so lovely to look at it! I saw quite a few places selling them in Paris and I just loved to look at the pretty bottles so I was happy to discover I could buy one here! So many designs from the streamlined to the blingy. Think of large perfume bottle type of shapes. They are expensive but I heard the liquid you buy lasts quite a long time. They had 3 liquid bottles for $20 which I think is a great deal considering most of the lamps are about $50-$100 here depending on the size/design but it's a functional as well as decorative piece. There are the typical Yankee Company candles sold here as well as some really unique candle holders. The owner is really friendly and she has a lot of knowledge about the products sold.

Two words: NOT CHEAP…read more This location is hidden on the side of the building with the "neo-image" sign. It is not visible from the street, so just look out for this sign! Building is across Dixie from the large Costco/Walmart complex. I love candles, was looking for more variety, so I thought that I'd drop by this Canadian company. As per photos, the store itself is laid out nicely. Given the area, I assumed that prices would be more competitive, but prices are in-line with some luxury candles. Definitely more than what you can get at TJX stores and quite a bit more than Bath & Body! A 7oz, 1-wick candle was $36, buy 2 get 1 free! Tiny travel candles were ~$6ea. If I liked any of the scents, I wouldn't have a problem paying these prices, but given the "subtle" scents, I didn't see the value in the pricing. I was barely able to smell some of the scents even holding the candle to my nose! I came in at the same time as another customer who was ordering in bulk and I was ignored. The other customer said that the pricing is better if ordering in bulk. And she also likes the fact that these candles aren't heavily scented as she's not a fragrance person. Although I don't douse myself in perfumes, I don't really see the point in buying pricey, scented candles if I cannot smell them!

Christmas shopping is around the corner. Families feverishly wrap presents and gifts to give…read more Shopping is evidently not my area of expertise, let alone something I am fond of. Thankfully, Linen Chest eases the process and makes my shopping experience much easier. On a cold, frosty winter day, where the wind blew silently, and white gleaming snow blew across the parking lot, my parents and me drove to Linen Chest. We shopped for plates and places mats to give to friends and family. As we entered a store, a nice lady greeted us, and offered us any assistance. The nice lady answered any of our questions with kindness and patience. We shopped around and found the perfect plates to purchase. The nice lady took around plates to the front cashier, while we perused around for a matching place mats. We walked around for a few seconds before finding the perfect match. All items within the store were easy to find. We placed all our items at the cashier. Another nice lady helped us wrap our gifts together and baggage our items neatly. We waited for a reasonable time for the everything to be wrapped. Shopping at Linen Chest was a breeze. The quality of the dishes greatly satisfied us. The service of the store put the final nails in the coffin, establishing itself, in my opinion, worthy of all five stars. If Christmas shopping is on your to do list, begin and end your search here. I reckon you ought to be satisfied with what you find.

Linen Chest overall is a wonderful store but my first experience going into this location (5800…read moreMcLaughlin Rd) was not. I was turned off by two encounters with two different employees. First was the cashier who for some reason needed to reconfirm EVERYTHING with me that was right in front of her on the receipt, several times! I didn't give her anything complicated and believe every cashier should understand how to read the time, date and item number on in a receipt. I wanted to return a single item that was purchased at different location just half hour prior and it was as though she didn't believe me or didn't understand, all the while starring at the receipt! Second employee could've cared less to take accountability over misplaced and mismarked items that I brought to her attention. Her dismissive response "yeah, yeah everything has a label so..." rubbed me wrong way! If the item were at all visible and not buried under other products I would've gladly gotten it myself and not ask her to help me dig for it. It's a real shame these two represent a company such as this.
