I love this store. It's so pretty and feminine. It smells terrific. Even the name makes me think of France. It can be pricier but it's all great quality. You get what you pay for. Location: It's in bayview village buy the food court area. Parking: Nuts. There's now a parking garage so it's a bit better. But watch your car people drive like maniacs here The Goods: Beautiful and quality products for the body, and home. I love their bath and body products. I love thee hand creams. They make my hands feel so soft. The Lothantique hand cream in Milk. It's my favourite place to buy rookie resents. They have really cute Danica Aprons, candle sticks, room scents. Staff: Everyone is so nice. They have great recommendations for gifts and always provide super service! It's a bit richer but it's worth it!! read more

The store looks lovely, but their products - like everything else at Bayview Village - are pricey. I looked at some rose water body wash, there was no rose water in it. I looked at some olive oil and mint hand cream, there was no mint in it, but there is plenty of tetrasodium EDTA and other chemicals in both products. They do have some pretty home decor items that are actually somewhat reasonably priced, but I would never touch their soaps or lotions. read more

My first impression of this store was that it was well organised, elegant, and unique. I was intrigued by the wonderful smells that greeted me before I even entered the store. I walked in and my first impression quickly faded and a cascading feeling of regret and disgust filled my insides!!! The least of my concerns were the extravagant price points reflected mainly in their bar soaps, which by the way are filled with perfume and chemicals that in today's revolving health conscious world I can't imagine will be in the market much longer. That alone tells you the company is not a promotion of healthy living, but more of making a profit by fooling people into thinking they are purchasing impressive, different-from-the-rest items. However, I digress...my major concern was that the employees, in particular both managers (I know they were because I confirmed upon leaving the store) could not careless about their customers. Something those poor unfortunate people are oblivious to. I was at the back of the store and they must have missed me somehow and I overheard the most revolting conversation between the two. There apparently was a customer that was in the store earlier, an old woman (as they referred to her), who was "offloading her issues" on them. I overheard one manager say "I don't know why these old people come here and talk about their problems with me....like no one cares. I don't care. They need to just buy if they're buying and get out of the store". I was shocked and immediately sickened. The other manager (Asian with a boy cut) then agreed with her colleague by saying "I know". At this point I was about to leave the store when another customer walked in and kept asking for some of her favourite products, all of which apparently were discontinued as told to her by both managers. I stood at the back listening in as I could not believe my ears and turned just in time to see both managers roll their eyes as the lady tried to find similar products. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. I left the store not too long after that. I have also heard many other stories from others I know that used to shop at that store. One particular story stands out where the owner of the store was also overheard telling an employee who went to him with a request from a customer who thought it be best that some products not be stocked together because of transfer of smell that "tough" if she didn't want to buy it for that reason. I mean really?!!! That's how much money that store makes? To the point where the customer isn't even valued anymore? I had so much respect for that store but since then I have not gone back and will not go back ever. Most of the products are made in china and not even France. Their soaps may smell nice but are laced with unhealthy ingredients, and for the customer service many receive and are not even aware of because it's done behind their backs, your health isn't worth it period!!!!!!!! If I could give ZERO STARS I would!!! read more

Stay away. Poor customer service. Tried returning an item and was told NO! It was not a clearance or final sale item. The item was not opened or altered in any way. My receipt was not stamped "No Return" or "Final Sale", etc. I was not told at the time of purchase that this store does not accept returns. They simply don't want to loose any sales - therefore no returns allowed. Very deceptive business practice. I was lucky that it was a small inexpensive item. Avoid the aggravation and don't shop at this store. read more

This is one of my favorite stores to visit every time I shop at Bayview Village! It's like stepping into a little Parisian shop! The calming atmosphere,music, and relaxing smells make it all the more enjoyable to browse around. Products cannot be compared with others of a lower price point, as they are clearly quality items and high end brands that are suitably sold just like anything else at that mall. I am shocked to see a negative comment on here about the service because the service is what i love most about this store! The managers are especially pleasant and respectful to all their customers! All the staff is welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable in their items! Aside from this, the owner himself is occasionally there as well. He greets customers and speaks to them always leaving then with a laugh or a smile! One day i was looking at one of the more expensive candles at their shop, and he was standing nearby helping the girls unloading new products. I guess he noticed i set the candle back , so as i was at the checkout he came by and gave me a free lavender bunch. He said it was to make up not getting the lavender candle, and we joked around. He later offered me a discount if i was still interested in the candle. Although i did not buy the candle, i was stunned by the graciousness and friendliness of all the staff there. Even if you're not intending on purchasing anything at this store, stepping in will make your day a lot better :) ten thumbs up! read more
