I found one item and wanted to ask the proprietor a question about another item in the other room, but she didn't acknowledge when I tried to make eye contact with her. So I walked around the store again to give them time to finish. I stood in their proximity again holding what I wanted to buy. Again I tried to make eye contact. Nothing again. No acknowledgement, so I left annoyed at her lack of professionalism and rudeness. I joined my friends in the store right next door (Olde Red Saltbox) and told them what happened. The owner of that store overheard me and angrily said " that's my daughter you're talking about!" I proceeded to tell her what happened at her daughter's store and she responded, " don't talk about my daughter like that . Get out of my store...now." as I left, my friends put down what they were going to purchase from the mother's store and followed me out. We will not be returning to either one of these stores in the future.
