We had such a great time making bath bombs and learning the process, and we were provided aprons and gloves so we stayed nice and clean. There were lots of scents, colors and shapes + glitter and other add ins to choose from. We both left with a whole box full of bath bombs and our instructor even packaged up the leftover "dust" as fairy dust to sprinkle into a bath. I was concerned that it was all over-priced cards and wrapping paper and while yes, there was plenty of that, there were also a number of surprising other items and I spent far more time in the store than I expected to. Surprising bonus: You can earn and redeem Barnes & Noble rewards here. I came looking for a couple rubber stamps and an ink pad that was part of a gift and was mildly successful in that task, though the friendly staff did explain that stamps were not really popular right now and I nodded in that knowing way of how things can be so cyclical. I'm sure six months from now you won't be able to swing a dead cat without hitting a rubber stamp display and at that time, I won't need any. I also perused the clearance cards and found some good deals and was interested in some of the items near the register but none of them had any prices on them. Great that they are 50% off, but if I don't know what they are half off of, I'm not likely to buy them. Will never understand why stores have things out without prices, how many lost sales must that drive? All in all, a decent store that I will return to when I am in need of some cards--especially if they still have that clearance section!

Carter Creations was one of two florists that were really close to the house. I chose Carter because they had 4.7 stars on Google and the other place only had 4.4. It was kind of a "luck of the draw" situation. I have a florist here in San Antonio that always does a super job with the flowers I send for my wife. When I send to other places, I don't expect the same quality. My wife's friend sent me a picture with her thank you text. The flowers from Carter Creations are really beautiful. I am very happy with my choice. I actually ordered these online. Unfortunately, I messed up the order somehow, and the email receipt indicated they were delivering to MY HOUSE! I panicked for a minute until I saw that I needed to call their number to complete the credit card charges. I told them where to deliver them, and all was well. I wish I had caught the name of the wonderful lady who helped me. She was super nice and very helpful. I only have one friend in Milwaukee. Now, I only have one florist, as well!
