This Bath & Body Works is located in the Gilroy Premium Outlets. This is my go-to place for lotion, candles, wallflowers (scented wall plug-ins), hand soaps, and hand sanitizing sprays. There's a ton of scents that you can choose from, whether you like the sweet smell of candy, the clean smell of linens right of the dryer machine or just a musky smell, Bath & Body Works has it all. They have some old school scents that used to be super popular back in the day that will come out of retirement from time-to-time. So if you're jonesing for those nostalgic scents, check out their website or stores. I usually shop here when the semi-annual sales pop-up (which is twice a year in June and December). I always try to stack any coupons they have to make the deals sweeter and less painful on my wallet. Also, there are deals online where you can get discounted Bath & Body Works gift cards! Happened to stop by this store the other day. First thing I noticed as soon as I walked in was a bad smell. I'm not sure if it was the store itself that smelled or someone with poor personal hygiene was walking around the store. As I'm looking around the store, I notice the shelves are very dirty. Not like a little dust build up here and there, more like those have not been wiped down in a long time. I picked up a product that was sticky so I go to wash my hands and the sink looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. The only upside to this store is they had the product i was looking for. They have body wash, lotion, perfume spray, scrubs, and small sizes to fit inside your purse to carry with you everywhere. This store definitely exceeds my expectations! I'm going to be honest, I've always had a problem with BBW employees being either very rude and standoffish or overly enthusiastic and bugging you every other second. This one, however, is full of friendly employees who genuinely care about your shopping experience! I walked in and was greeted by Celina, who told me about all the deals going on in the store before I started shopping. I like my space and personal bubble, and I was allowed to have that while I browsed through the store. In the end during check out, Robert and Celina made sure all my questions were answered and they both tried their best to help me save money as well as get the most bang for my buck by telling me about available coupons. They allowed me to do multiple transactions so I could use my coupons more than once, and not a lot of stores do that! This is by far my favorite Bath & Body Works location and I'm shocked that I have yet to review this place. While there are probably half a dozen or so other locations closer to my house I would much rather drive the 50 miles to come here. This is the only location in the area (to my knowledge) that carries most of the retired fragrances that I love so dearly. No matter when I come I know I'm in for a treat. The customer service here is impeccable, there is always an associate at the door greeting customers and readily handing out shopping bags if needed. They make sure you know of any specials and offers before you start browsing and let you know if you need any help they are available. This is how all retail stores should operate but unfortunately in this day and age that is very hard to come by. The store has your typical Bath & Body Works layout but all the retired fragrances seem to be on one particular side of the store and they are usually priced at $5-$6 which is a steal. When I say retired fragrances I'm talking about ones like Black Amethyst, Wild Honeysuckle, Enchanted Orchid, Brown Sugar and Fig and so on. These fragrances haven't been sold in the regular stores in years so it's nice to know that I can come here to get the ones I love and miss. They still have all of the new fragrances and everything that your average Bath & Body has, they just have more of a variety and items that you can't fin in other stores and this is pretty much what makes them stand out and the fact that they are an outlet with better prices is a big plus as well. Looking around the store I realized that the selection of products is extremely limited much different from the regular Bath and Body Works stores you normally find in the malls. If you're looking for a good deal this is the place to be. My fiance and I purchased a home recently- 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. So I stocked up on soap!!! They have an excellent deal on soaps. I purchased the following soap: Sea Island Cotton (two bottles) Warm Vanilla Sugar Sweet Pea Dancing Waters Kitchen Lemon The deal on the soap- 6 for $2.50 a piece, normally they cost $5.00 I bought foam burst body wash in the following scents: sun ripened raspberry and cucumber melon. The foam body wash can also be used as shaving cream - for my legs. It was a steal at $2.25 a bottle. I also picked up a bottle of sun ripened raspberry body splash- which was delightful for the senses. There are rules about Bath & Body Works. We don't need any of the stuff in there, but for some reason, we always end up with stuff from there anyway. One should learn not to walk into this store, especially when you're at the outlets. They tend to have something, everything, on sale and we feel the urge to buy and buy and buy. And when it comes down to it, it's not that cheap still, but we still end up getting it. And even when we definitely don't want it, we somehow get it for birthdays, Christmas, favors, etc. And the scents...who has never smelled something from Bath & Body Works? If you haven't, where have you been hiding? Under a rock? They have some fabulous scents and some not so fabulous ones, which is why they were discontinued. When we smell specific things, they transport us to times past, and Bath & Body Works holds that power too. (I came across Pearberry scent again, and I was brought back to 1997 dorm life...the image in my head of me being in my robe and a towel around my head as one of my male friends starting talking to me...and then suddenly stopping to say, "Gawd, you smell good." How can one not smile at a comment like that? And it appears that every time I smell Pearberry, I am reminded of that moment.) During this visit, I went in knowing what could happen and I saw it. Endless sugar and salt scrubs on sale and I am addicted to those things. (I can't afford to get a professional salt or sugar scrub done every week, so I gotta do it myself. If you haven't tried it, you should...you'll notice some softer skin after using this stuff.) And so, once again...those damn sales and scents! I saw myself stocking up like a madwoman! When I was a teenager, I used to love Bath and Body Works. However, now I'd rather either a) buy cheap, good-smelling lotion at Walgreens or b) buy expensive but amazing-smelling lotion or perfume. Bath and Body Works falls awkwardly in the middle of option a) and option b) and is too sweet and sugary smelling for my taste. Went for Candle day today and was impressed how fully stocked the shelves were and how well prepared the staff were to attend to all customer needs. They had candle cartridges that held up to 6 candles. One of the employees saw me struggling to balance more candles and offered to take my candle cartridges and hold them in the front while I continued to shop around. My girlfriend and I were shopping at Gilroy outlets and decided to stop by one of our favorite shops: Bath & Body Works. For as long as we can remember, we have always been addicted to this chain because products here are so cheap, everything in the store is long lasting (I have some lotion from when I was in high school and I still haven't finished it), and who doesn't love to smell nice? There are some things that I look for in a good Bath & Body Works shop. Because the fact that there will always be deals (there will ALWAYS be deals), I look for good service, stocked shelves, and employees who don't constantly direct you to the men's aisle if you are male by gender. Luckily, our experience at this Bath & Body Works shop was pretty positive. Right when we walked in we were greeted by a kind employee. Thankfully she didn't talk to me about how they had a men's section. It seemed like they had some new spring fragrances in so my girlfriend and I did our usual sampling and exploring. Compared to other Bath & Body Works shops, this one isn't much different. Although it is located inside the Gilroy Premium Outlets, this one didn't really have any deals you wouldn't find at other Bath & Body Works. In terms of products, this place had almost everything you would need and expect. However, I was a bit turned off by the fact that the variety of hand sanitizers was pretty lacking (HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE A SANITIZER FOR CITRUS??; this may be a thing across all stores now. Overall, this is a solid Bath & Body Works shop. It's nothing spectacular and nothing different from the ones you have been accustomed to going to. I love pretty much everything they sell at Bath & Body Works! From their body wash, body sprays, candles, holders, shampoo & conditioner, bath fizzies, lip gloss, makeup bags and gift bags, but most of all I love their hand soaps and lotion. I'm not a fan of their hand sanitizers because they can be too assertive in terms of the strength of their scent. Sometimes it just smells like scented rubbing alcohol and it doesn't make my hands feel clean at all! Instead it feels like there is a layer of film left behind on my hands after applying and the scent is way too strong. I have to admit the designs on the hand sanitizers and their holders are super cute and I have bought a hand sanitizer and holder solely based on the fact that the holder was cute! Lol They are just so creative with their packaging designs! Other items that are cute but just don't do it for me are the room air freshener plug-ins that you plug into an outlet in a wall and their car air fresheners. To me they are weak scented and expensive. Same goes for their room sprays. They usually come in a really small spray can. They are too expensive for their size. Plus they don't really freshen up a room. I receive daily email deals and coupons and sometimes I receive paper coupons by regular mail. I recommend you sign up to be on their mailing list. The products are not cheap so you'd be saving money if you use coupons and/or go during sales. If it's a really good sale, where items I love are on sale for under $3.00 US dollars, I will stock up and buy shopping bags full of hand soaps, lotions, and body wash. The Bath & Body Works outlet store is 30 minutes away from where I live, give or take, and depending on the traffic. Therefore it's not always convenient for me to make the trip here so I have to make each visit count. I would say I visit this store at least every other month. With all the hand washing, the hand soaps are the first to go. The service is always good. The ladies roaming the floor will greet you as soon as you walk through the door and offer to help you. They also check back on you periodically so they are persistent in helping you. Lol I suspect that they have a system where they are rewarded for the amount of people they help because during checkout, the cashier always asks me who helped me out on the floor. Checking out: The store can get really crowded and the line gets long. You got tourists and locals looking for a deal. It is especially busy on the weekends. They have two regular cash register terminals towards the back of the store. Recently they began using a new method of payment that allows customer to pay away from the register. It's through a hand-held credit card machine device. Unfortunately one of the ladies working there tried to ring me up with a hand-held credit card device and it failed on all her three attempts. Finally I was rung up at a normal register. I have to say after that experience I will decline the hand-held device payment and wait in line to be rung up with the regular cash register machines. The ladies at the cash register are always generous with their paper coupons and you will usually walk out of there with coupons in hand for your next visit. There is a sink in the store that allows you to wash your hands to try on different hand soaps. The sink is also very useful if you tried a lotion with a scent that you don't like and would like to wash it off. I think what I love most about the store is it always smells so good inside. Also whenever I wear their lotion I receive compliments on the scent. I prefer the body lotions that come in a semi-hard plastic tube as opposed to the lotions that are in the hard plastic container. It's just easier to dispense and I feel you get more bang for your buck! When the lotion no longer comes out when squeezed I use a pair of strong scissors to cut it open so I can get to ever last drop of lotion. A word of advice: Try not to get attached to a particular scent. The company is constantly coming up with new scents and that means items go through a promotional cycle, then are discontinued. If I really like a scent I will stock up and buy bags and bags full to stock up my cabinet at home. Luckily every now and then they will bring back popular, classic scents and if you are lucky they can be found here. But act fast because when they're gone, they're gone! (Or only available on eBay.) Parking: I find that if I visit the store from Monday through Saturday, there is usually plenty of parking. This side of the Gilroy Premium Outlets is busy but not as busy as other parts of the outlet in comparison. I could not believe those prices. I'm a huge fan of B&B's antibacterial hand soap, but it's expensive. Here- it's $1.99! I didn't even know that they made refill packs- but those were only $3.99! My daughter and I had a blast digging through all of the 99 cent bins and testing the lotions. We ended up with some facial moisturizer, four tubes of C.O Bigelow mentha mint breath freshening lip tint, one tube of pear berry moisturizer, one tube of pink grapefruit shimmer moisturizer, some antibacterial apple hand moisturizer, and some stuff to make your nail polish dry instantly for about $30.00! read more

Here is what I got: CG Bigelow Lime & Body Souffle-8oz. for $3.75 The original price was $15.00 It smells really good, like freshly squeezed lime and lemonade, I'm not kidding! True Blue Spa's "Be more Pacific" Shower Cream-2oz. for $1.99 The original price was $6.00 I love the smell of this body wash, it has a really good tropical smell to it and so does their lotion, but I didn't find that there. True Blue Spa's "Glove Me Tender" with SPF 15-2.5oz. for $5.00 The original price was $13.00 The people there are nice and friendly but the lines can be long. Parking is plentiful. read more

I'm not a huge B&BW fan to be honest, however I do really like their antibacterial hand soaps, antibacterial hand gels, Moonlight Path body wash/lotion and Slatkin & Co. candles/home fragrances. It can be a good place to pick up gift items when needed. This outlet store definitely has their hand soaps at low prices, starting at $1.99 each! A steal for sure! They offer the typical buy 3 products for X price just like the B&BW stores offer, but at a lower price and they're the same scents. Most of their products are in large bins and several of them had leaked which was a sticky mess that got on most of the bottles! I like that there is a sink area in the store where you can try all of their soaps & scrubs. However, I was annoyed and put off with having 2 different people trying to get me to sample hand cream and another 5 employees asked if I needed assistance while I looked around the store. I appreciate staff willing to assist, but I don't want to be approached by 7 different people during my visit, that's just intrusive and unnecessary! I'm a chick-- I love smelling pretty. So of course I always stop by the Bath and Body Works outlet whenever I'm in Gilroy. I especially love the deflated prices and great deals I find here. I can't really say it's wheelchair accessible just because of the amount of people in here at any given time. Since it was located close to a store I was going to I decided to check it out and hope for some odd reason they would carry my absolute favorite, Plumeria. Lo and behold, they still carry some of the classics....plumeria, country apple, sweet pea, etc! It's like I took a time machine back 14 years. So when i was walking by Bath & Body Works, I had to stop by to just take a "look". 20 minutes later, I'm walking out of the store with 8 different shower gels, all of varying scents and textures for $12. They had $.99 and $1.99 bins where you could get all sorts of lotions, soaps, shower gels and bubble baths. Whenever B&B has their special sales (Buy 3-get 3 free, etc.), I stock up on my favorite Moonlight Path products and those little bottles of scented hand sanitizers. But it's rare that I use what I buy for myself. Having them on hand, I usually end up giving them away as gifts. My Hawaii relatives love B&B and don't have these stores back home. I love going to the Outlets and this is by far one of my fav stores to visit when in Gilroy! WHY?! Well because it is extremely cheap!!! My name is Liz and I am addicted to their crazy good deals! I swear im NOT a hoarder but I do have a pretty big stash of body wash and hand soap in my house! I'm addicted and let me tell you why you should be too. I love coming here just after December all of their holiday scents are only $1! YES thats right only about $1 after the holidays are over! On my last visit my fiance bought some manly body wash for only $2! and I bought some body wash for me for like $2.75. They always have bins filled with awesome products and they are never more than $3! No one should ever have to pay more than $5 for body wash or hand soap. read more

I don't know what they put into those products at Bath & Body Works, but every time I go there, I have the urge to buy something. It can be addictive. Granted, one could argue that a person doesn't really need the stuff here, but I'd say that in general, the deals are too good to pass up (especially if you go in during their semi-annual sales). Given that this place is located in the outlets, you can pretty much expect that there are a lot of markdowns on their products. They carry scents that are not always in the regular stores (or simply outdated), and I had to dig in deep into the sale buckets for some of my favorites. The friendly staff is also there to help you if you have any questions on hand. The only drawbacks for this location are that you cannot use most Bath & Body Works coupons here (it's even in the fine print of the coupons) and that it can get quite hectic inside, given that everyone is either digging through the buckets, standing in line for checkout, or crossing the line to get to the other end of the store. Also, check to see if the lids are closed shut, sometimes they would open up and leak bits of lotion when I grabbed them out of the bucket. Other than that, this is a good location to stock up on Bath & Body Works products when there's no semi-annual sale at the regular shops. read more
