I love Bath & Body Works and since covid, I have moved to online shopping the most but there is nothing like going into the store and smelling the scents. So I went out with the intent to shop for my home and get travel items for an upcoming trip. I found a scent I liked and got the full size for home and struggled to find the travel size for TSA. I asked a clerk who looked on the floor and in back. A senior rep shared they did not have it but they get trucks 3 times a week and they dont know what's on it as they have no control over ordering. I said can you please call the closest store and see if they have it as I dont mind traveling. I was told NO but YOU can call as they are quite busy. I said we'll if they are too busy for a peer surely they would be too busy for a customer. She looked at me blinked and went about putting away stock. I thanked her dropped my full cart at the door and left. Sadly shopping online has become the new normal as customer service is a thing of the past. I went to the bath and body works at concord mills to get some wallflower refills. I asked for the two pack refills and the sales associate who assisted me told me they only had a few left because someone had returned them and she showed me where they were. I purchased the remaining packs and when I got home and opened them I saw that some were opened and in one box there was a whole different fragrance than what was supposed to be in the box. I called bath and body works and spoke with Courtney who told me to come back and return the items. I asked if they could offer something else for the inconvenience because not only will I have to return the items and but I will also have to go through the hassle of buying them online or picking through singles inside the store to replace the purchase. The rep I spoke with Courtney told me that was all she could do and gave me the customer service phone number. I called customer service and spoke with a rep who at first only wanted to offer me a return of the items in store as was offered by Courtney. When I told her I felt they should do more as I technically have to return these items and go home with nothing since they were out of the two-pack wallflowers in store she told me she would offer a free shipping on 50.00 coupon which would require me to spend significantly more than I spent initially. I shop with BBW all the time and was surprised at this level of service but sadly it was not my first bad experience with them. I also had a bad experience during Christmas where the Cotswold location gave me a gift card for a return with no balance on it so when I turned around and tried to use it immediately after getting it, the card wouldn't work. The store associate then told me they couldn't help me and asked me to stand to the side and call customer service myself because they couldn't override their own mistake! This is one of the largest Bath and body Works that I have ever been to and have so much space they could do so much with this store have little parties for pampering, etc. because of the size the staff were friendly when I entered, I was greeted immediately and everybody seem nice Everything seemed to be fully stocked and organized. They have plenty of parking uncovered and the shared parking lot since this is in the shopping center. Is the chain store so there's several locations you can join the rewards program if you plan on returning to any of the Bath and body Works to get deals. You can provide them what you're mailing address if you choose and they will send you items in the mail. They have a lot of great sense however we're reading the back of the labels. ALSO like anything else, inflation has the normal "free/reward gift" of $16.50 now $18.95 but guess what? You can't use your reward towards the higher/inflated price item! What in the Heck?! This location was fine at first .Store was basically empty . I told the lady I was looking for plugins she pointed to two locations, so I proceeded to look in that section and smell them . Then the lady that asked me what I was shopping for originally ,saw me again . She then proceeded to look into my basket and see what I had as well as reach in . I was so caught off guard I couldn't even react in the moment. But when I went to the register I told another lady I was displeased with the interaction. Her excuse was it's to recommend other products which I knew was bullshit but okay. So I just told her that was a turn off and she probably shouldn't do it again . Also , I asked if that was normal because I I've been shopping at bath & body for years as I'm sure most of us have and that's never happened . I also found it ironic that a young black woman would do that to another young black woman (which I'm sure was planned ) . Anyways that store was trash based on that experience alone . Both my sisters take advantage of the sales and also get free stuff driven by their points systems and managed on the app. I nabbed a few body washes on sale for $4.95, which is a big discount from their regular price of $13.50. Which my sister knew about... You guessed it via the app. They have so many novel items and seasonal fragrances, but what I really enjoy from B&BW is their wall plug in fragrances! And how they stand by their products. I feel confident purchasing products from a company like this. Visiting the mall, of course, I had to stop in here and use the coupons I received in the mail. Normal B&BW store. They had all the Christmas scents out, and I was in heaven. They do have brand new stuff out (to me), which consisted of body wash (not the shower gel) and butter cream now. So definitely a treat to be able to look at all the new products. Unfortunately, the store did not have a pleasant smell at all to it. It smelled more like sewer instead of nice B&BW products like normal. I believe the employees were trying to remedy that, but they just kept spraying the room sprays, which just made the store smell like sewer and scents and made my head hurt. Other than that, everything else was nice and no long lines. The employees were friendly and helpful. I was shocked to know that they have separated from Victoria Secrets, so now if you have a VS credit card, you will not be able to use it at the B&BW stores. read more

I usually walk right past Bath & Body Works stores holding my nose and with shallow breaths. It usually makes me sneeze. But when you're shopping for presents for your lovely wife, you get 'er done. It was hard for me to tell, since I don't usually see in this spectrum, but it seemed like they really only have about six or eight different scents and flavors, but they fill in the space by expanding the options for acquiring it. Bath and body works. You've seen one, you've seen them all. I rarely venture here outside of the semi annual sale. That being said, the cashiers were helpful and pleasant. There was a large selection of fragrances to choose from in the store and they were well stocked. The line can get long, but it does tend to move quickly. read more

I went to Bath & Body in the Concord Mall on Saturday, 12/17. I was purchasing several items. When I got to the register I asked the young lady if they had any coupons. She said no but if I was on their email list that I should've received one in my email for 25% off. I again asked her could she not look up my email address and provide me with the 25% off coupon and she said no that I had to bring the coupon in the store. I couldn't even pull up anything on my phone because there was no service in their store. So I left and they lost a $55 dollar sale. Poor customer service. read more
