I went to an Waist bead event my friend invited me to at Happy Kat candles & Gifts. This event was for people to come and make a personalized waist bead. The event cost $25 and it was from 6pm-8pm At the event the host supplied some snacks and drinks for us. There was music playing and she supplied all of the items we needed to make our own waist beads. She had a variety of bead colors for us to choose from. We were socially distanced while making our waist beads. The host played a game with the customers while we were making our waist beads to pass the time. I arrived a little late to the event but it didn't stop me from making my beads I was still welcomed and there was no time limit to completed your beads. While we socialized and played games and made our waisted beads the time flew by. It was a nice event to get around people and do something fun especially after a long day of work and it be something relaxing and entertaining. After I made my beads the host helped me tie them and explained how to put it on and off. This event was really nice and I will be coming back again to make another one to get a variety of waist beads for my outfits.

I've only ever entered this store with an online purchase + 1 other person. I've learned every other store will give your entire party a coupon not here. You've got to split your order and let each person make a purchase in order to get a coupon. Yeah, it's technically a techicality but we're here who are we fooling? Finally found the price paid online as I left the invoice. Didn't matter. She still called 800 customer service then battered then with follow up questions once the price was quoted: 1) any additional coupons, 2) any other offers used, 3) the final price again?? Yo, I'm all for inventory being accurate but I'll only make returns here and buy elsewhere.

Bath & Body Works is always well stocked during its semi-annual sale. There's usually at least a 20% off coupon that you can stack on top of their 50-75% off items. Your favorite retired scents reappear for a limited time. Christmas fragrances are practically free. What more do you want? The only downside is that checking out can be like TORTURE. With so many different sales, there's a greater chance for something to not ring up as expected. OR the customer is unaware of a sale that the cashier informs them of, causing the customer to rush and pick up one more freebie. Then there's the rambling through the purse for a coupon or through the phone for a coupon. And heaven forbid anyone buys a candle. The wrapping takes forever. All in all, it's a recipe for disaster. Oedipus gauge your eyes out type of stress level to be behind one person and spend 15 minutes there with no movement. That being said, B&BW has great smelling items.
