3-wick scented candles
Kathy G.

Shopping here is Heaven for me. I love all of the scents as soon as you walk in. I was greeted warmly by Zack (sp?) and he was incredibly helpful in recommending products and helping me find what I needed. I appreciate that they offer an inclusive environment so all shoppers can feel welcome. I like that they have standard scents available year-round, and seasonal products as well. There's truly something for everyone here. The foaming hand soaps and pocket sized antibacterial hand gel are a must-have to stock up on each shopping trip. I have to tell myself that I don't need anymore scented candles. But the jars are so pretty to repurpose. This store is exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and has beautiful displays.

Candles, gift bagged

I popped in here the other today to pick up a couple of gifts for upcoming birthdays. I had received an email about a sale on candles. When I arrived, the store was clean and everything was presented nicely. Lynn asked if she could help me and I took her up on it. Strong scents give me headaches so I didn't want to smell all the candles to make a choice. I asked her what the most popular selling candles were in the seasonal selection (they were all pumpkin themed). She pointed out a couple and also showed me her favorite. She also offered to gift bag the candles with bows for a sleek presentation. I was in, picked the candles, checked out, got the gift bagging and was out in about 10 minutes! Most of this was due to Lynn's help. If you need candles or bath and body products this store is consistently friendly, helpful, clean and never too crowded.

Not often do you find a stand-alone Bath & Body Works store but you sure can in the valley. Conveniently located next door to Walmart in Boone's Crossing shopping plaza. Store was very neat and colorful. I grabbed my free item and jetted out to avoid the temptation of buying anything I didn't actually need; I wanted it all.

They had some curated kitchen items that would be perfect for gift giving, other odds and ends, and some really wonderful perfumes from Oliver Fragrance Co. They had their bougie sticks and the full size bottles! I bought one of the bougie sticks (Sunset 57) which smells divine and the scent actually lasts throughout the day. Best of all, I purchased the bougie stick for $24 and the manufacturer's website have them for $22 which isn't a ridiculous price difference and I didn't have to wait or pay for shipping. They also carry B**chstix which is a brand that supports survivors of domestic abuse and is a cruelty-free product. I bought one for the friend I was meeting for dinner. The store carries many other items such as some fashion jewelry, curated baby items (clothes, books, etc), hair ties, scented candles and so much more! I am definitely going to stop by here another time since it's on my way home from work and it seems like the perfect place to find some wonderful gifts. The lady at the counter was friendly and super nice. She greeted me when I first came in and left me alone to browse. They had some sales as well. If you haven't checked this place out, you should! You never know what you'll find.

Recommend: EVERYTHING! Esp the Face Masks (Turmeric Rosehip Brightening | Coffee Yogurt Firming |…read moreOatmeal Honey Soothing | Face Plant Cleansing) Bath bombs, bar soaps, face masks, tie-dye candles, bougie hand sanitizer, body & face lotions, salves, spritz's + beard oils & goodies for all genders! Locally sourced, hand-picked crystals & crystal necklaces, tie-dye clothing & masks - so much incredible artisanal amazingness! Even CBD bath bombs & soap for extra relaxation. It will be a real practice this gift-giving season to actually be able to part with any of the amazing products I purchase... we'll see!! I felt totally at home & inspired by the combination of rock n roll/earthy/artsy vibes the showroom exudes! For lack of a better word, it is just so COOL in there with a big claw foot steel bathtub in the entry filled with super creatively named & fragranced bath bombs, cool music playing & beautiful smells coming from the awesome staff in the back creating these gorgeous, one-of-a-kind products (comparable to LUSH, but with cleaner ingredients from what I understand & much more interesting, beautiful flavors!!) Side note: herbalist on staff! These products are more than just great smells, their healing power is totally legit. I esp love the "Magic Neem" bar soap for my fickle face skin. It's gentle & doesn't strip my face's natural oils. So great! Thank you!!! Xo!

I've just showered with a glycerin soap from Maven and "I feel pretty, oh, so pretty, I feel…read morepretty, witty and bright". I will admit, I have always used two soaps when showering. I use a deodorant soap for the manly areas and a Dove for Men product for the rest of my body. After this shower, I am flipping that bird off and replacing it with the locally made soap from Maven. The scent I bought on my first visit was, "my boyfriends t-shirt". I can assure you it does not smell like the t-shirts of the Sharks and Jets after they have been dancing on the rooftops and streets of New York City. In stead it smells like fresh clean laundry that has dried in a fresh summer breeze. The fragrance was so soothing that I also bought it in a Wood Wick Soy Candle and Solid Perfume. I can tell you now, I will be a repeat customer at Maven. I may even have to start considering myself to be a metro sexual, which I have not in the past.

We both wandered around looking for help and couldn't find anyone. There was an employee helping a customer and we asked if there was anyone else available to help us. She was surprised nobody was there to help and went and found someone. She told us someone was on the way. Nobody showed up. By now, there are about ten of us waiting for help in that area. The gal that was helping a customer finished and came to help us. She apologized for the fact she was the only one over there. It clearly wasn't her fault! She was great and helped my daughter choose the appropriate items for her skin type. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We went and got in line to check out. The person who checked out did not say one word to us during the transaction. No hello or thanks or anything. Neither of the two people at the cash wrap were friendly in the least. It was as if we were disturbing them. So overall it wasn't great, but one employee was really good (I wish I remembered her name)!
