    Bow and arrow

I bought a bow here and the guy that helped me set up my bow and it was really helpful with arrows and release

Getting ready to go on a trip and we needed different outdoor types of clothing. Was shocked to see how large of a store Bass Pro Shops is in Fairfield. Not only did they have everything we needed, but it was fun to see all of the things in the store that entertained the eye - small falls, gigantic water tank with live fish, and many life-sized animal displays. There certainly is something for any type of outdoor enthusiast you hunt, fish, hike, etc. The employees were more than helpful which is crucial in a large store like that. You may want to go there just to kill some time, but I'd be willing to bet that you will find something you need to purchase while you are there.

It's a candy store for men who loves the outdoors, guns, fishing, boating and hunting. They have just about anything you can think of for all outdoor activities. I personally come for the children's toys and clothing and men's jacket and my husband always eyes out the guns and gun accessories. It's the best place to get camouflage clothing. There is a large fish tank and times are posted when they feed the fishes. They also sell nuts, popcorn, fudge and drinks while you walk around. There is also a variety of hot sauce, bread mix, butters and syrup to purchase. It's hard to leave this place without spending money. But I don't regret all the goodies we purchased. It will be enjoyed by family and friends in Hawaii.

Anything and everything you could need for the outdoors.

One of my favorite stores to shop at because I can bring my dog along. I like to shop the sales rack on the second floor, it seems like they always have good deals. The atmosphere inside is outdoorsy, there is a huge fish tank, it's must-see. This place is very kid friendly. My niece and nephew love this place especially during the holidays. During the holidays, they have different activities for kids. For example, with Christmas coming up Santa Claus will be present to take pictures with the kids along with crafts and games.

First time at bass,I didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be larger.i realized I'm not as outdoorsy as I hoped.maybe one day they'll move.

The first pair, the guy at this location told me just to grab a replacement, which made me spend a few hundred on shirts because of good business practices. This time, the guy refused to honor the guarantee on the pair included in the picture. Claiming normal ware and tear on the back of the jeans clearly on the middle inseam! I told him after a year goes by, I'll stop bringing them back in. Already ordered replacement ridge pants that hopefully hold up better (not as light as Meridian unfortunately). I'm not looking for handouts, but want to get my money out of them so it's not a complete waste (I have all the colors). Now I've lost a lot of confidence in the company as a whole. I have a lot of their clothing, backpacks, and accessories. Before, I was assured that the quality is so good that they'll stand behind it. Now that they're not, the quality must be causing them too many problems to keep up with that assurance. Third picture is the size of pants compared to fresh order made a month ago. I haven't added on in size which would be a meaningful denial as well. He just kept repeating the same thing like one of my toddlers. Just doing what he's told is my guess.

It was a wonderful local shop outfitted for paddling, camping, hiking, and climbing. I was very impressed with the book selection and the friendly staff. And I may go in there and just buy a bunch of other stuff! I had to call Thule's 800 number after multiple attempts to unlock my bike rack with no real assistance from the place I purchased it. The customer service representative on the phone with Thule gave me RRT's address and phone number. I called and Emily was doing her "bookwork" but she walked up front and handed the "master keys" to her sales help in the store. They seemed to be expecting me when I arrived and Dalton walked out to my car with me. As the customer service representative on the phone had told me, there is a ring of 100 keys and Dalton tried every one of the them. Luckily, we found it after almost 70 different keys but I was treated so well. They didn't have to help me, I didn't buy the Thule Bike Rack from them. But this will be the first place I go in the future! According to Dalton, they offer FREE installation! It's a nice store in Old Milford and it's apparently been there since 2010. I have been biking the trail for years and I promised Emily, no more Thule from anyone but Roads, Rivers and Trails! They ROCK!!!!!!!! They also have a lot of very attractive clothing and equipment. I will let you know after I go back to shop.

Another store associate dashed after us (we are both seniors), she stopped us in the bitter cold wind and started digging in our paper bag. While the manager was removing the security tag off our purchase, she said, "Good job" to this store associate. And merely dropped sorry to us. The subject of bugging out and Bug Out Bags is a popular one and for good reason, disasters like…read morehurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, flash floods or other natural disaster, could force survivors to "head for the hills" in search of safer ground. We are constantly threatened by a series of potential disasters, both natural and man-made. For someone new to being a Survivalist building your first Bug Out Bag can seem like a big task. Everybody you read about has been tweaking theirs for months or even years and has a pile of gear built up. The military load bearing system is set up in a 3 day (web gear), 5-7 day (rucksack), and a 14 day (duffle bag/footlocker). It's hard to know where to start, but if you cover all of the basics in a survival situation you will still be much better off than 99% of the people. A Bug Out Bag, (also called a BOB, Get Out of Dodge Bag, GOOD, or 72 Hour Bag) is usually designed to get you out of an emergency situation and allow you to survive self-contained for up to 3 days. A lot of people plan their Bug Out Bag to sustain them for much longer than that, but there is always a limit to what you can carry on your back and a 3 day target is a good place to start. I like how Preppers Edge has developed a complete line of Bug Out Bags that range from short or long term needs. Taking the guess work out of what to pack is of vital importance to me. I've spent countless hours of research on the web and have concluded that Preppers Edge offers the most comprehensive and well assembled bags money can buy. I wouldn't trust the survival of my family to any other brand.
