I havebt been here in awhile but they were one of the first to offer non dairy so major props. Baskin Robbins is a classic franchise. We shoukd definitely hit this up again soon. read more

Well it's currently 25° outside so why not make myself a little colder by eating ice cream! Lol. For some reason I was just craving ice cream tonight and baskin Robbins was calling my name. The employees are what really made this experience so great. From the second I walked in, they greeted me and showed me great customer service. They let me try a few samples so I could pick the deliciousness I would end of getting. I ended up going with peppermint, which they told me was a top seller this time of year. I hope they have it all year round because it is sooooo good. I really enjoyed my experience here. I don't live close, but it will be worth the drive to come here again! read more

One of the few BR locations in the area. This classic chain still offers a large selection of ice cream flavors. They also have cakes, shakes, sundaes and smoothies. Looked very clean inside. The servers were very patient and friendly while we decided what flavors to get. read more

It's a chain but that's ok because they had the whole Stranger Things promotion going on. I like it here because it brings back so many childhood memories of going to the mall and then getting an ice cream cone from BR. Of course this wasn't the location I frequented back then but it holds the memories all the same. Ice cream is still good. read more

The ice cream is fine for those who like B-R ice cream, which I do. Having moved here from the DC area + spending a lot of time in NYC, there are a lot of B-Rs there & I got used to them. The PGH area has virtually none & went here often the first year after I moved to the North Hills area. As noted, the ice cream is fine & they have all the fixings for any ice cream treat that can be imagined. What I dis-liked about the place is how the owner operates the business. First, there's a sign that reads, essentially, Credit Cards Not Accepted, but they do take them, except for very small purchases. When I first went there, I had a B-R coupon that was not expired & not restricted to any geographic location. They wouldn't take the coupon, saying "it says it's only good at participating locations & we don't participate". Then there's their own software that automatically prints two offers at the bottom of each receipt. Staff are first instructed to ask if a receipt is wanted & if it is, they tear it from the register in such a manner that only one of the offers appears ($1 off for completing a survey). Their prices were also on the high side from what I was used to. The shop itself could use some updating as it's on one end of a 3rd rate strip shopping center. Maneuvering a car is also a bit of a challenge in limited space not very far off busy Freeport Road. I finally quit going as there are plenty of other less-expensive expensive & as-good options. Honoring coupons is generally a way to build & maintain customer loyalty, but the owner of this B-R franchise thinks otherwise. Since he survived long before I showed-up, no doubt he'll survive just fine without me. read more

It would break my heart if I had to give Baskin & Robbins a bad review. I would if I had to but I'm glad they've never given me reason. Gosh, I've been eating their ice cream for years (not sayin how many) and my poison of choice is pralines and cream. It's also my mother's favorite and was my grandmother's favorite..so you see what's going on here. I have deviated from the plan and tried other flavors like strawberry, salty caramel and mint chocolate chip, to name a few. What makes them stand out is their ingredients. I mean, I'm eating real ice cream. I can't speak about the cones, shakes or other specialty items because I never tried them. You come here when you mean business. Parking sux when there's a bunch of traffic but I see some park across the street which may be a better option for some. Employees seem nice...I mean they're scooping you ice cream. The store is clean and is a great place to cool off while enjoying your tasty treat in the summer! read more

I had not realized this was tucked on the side of Freeport Road. There is an extensive amount of ice cream choices and the waffle cones are made fresh. It is outdated but I believe it has been around for quite a while. The service was super friendly and I'm glad I made the stop for a sweet treat. read more

Great ice cream and many flavors to choose from. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. Parking is tricky when u leave because u back out into traffic on the main drag. The price of the ice cream is ridiculously high. Two scoop sundae was over $5.00 a banana split was nearly $7.00 I don't know of many locations and with those prices they may not last long. I'm a Baskin Robbins club member so when I received a bogo offer to buy a cone get one free I couldn't pass it up especially since the new flavor of the month is, Twix! My generous scoop of caramel & chocolate malt ice cream was filled with bits of Twix bars, chocolate flakes and caramel ribbon swirl on top of a cake cone. Of course I couldn't stop with one scoop I also had praline and cream: praline-coated pecan pieces and caramel in vanilla ice cream, a delightful taste of South in your mouth!! Baskin and Robbins has satisfied my sweet tooth from childhood!! (I won't tell you how long that's been) They've been in business since 1945! read more

Very convenient location on Freeport Road. Staff were very friendly, especially to our little one, and gave her a couple of little tastes of some different flavors to help her make up her mind. As with any Baskin Robbins, they have 31 great flavors at all times - happy to see they haven't ever gotten rid of the chocolate and peanut butter! read more

A Prime example of what franchisees are unprofessional and have nonexistent health standards. Came in for my free birthday scoop. Showed the coupon to the cashier, a young brunette. Replied "uh, it has to be printed". Doesn't say on the coupon, nor does it state it in the store. "Oh and also, you have to tell me first. Because it's a smaller scoop " Actually, there are not "two sizes" of "one scoop". Just another example of cheap franchisees lowering the standards. The icing on the cake is, I ask, "well I'm not driving back home to print this out. So are you simply going to pitch it?" "Nope!" She says cheerfully. "I just put them back!" And that she did, do the disgust and dismay of this reviewer. I have informed the ACHD, the health department. I am a small business owner. When others are so deeply unprofessional, it merely drives consumers straight into the hands of corporate America. If they are so cavalier about tossing ice cream already served back in their containers in full view of customers, there's no doubt a host of other, worse violations they comitt behind closed doors. read more

I came to the Fox Chapel, Pa location to use my coupon that expires today. They told me that they could not accept the coupon on my phone, because they "don't have a way to scan it." This was a direct email from Baskin-Robbins and said nothing about needing to be printed. I pointed this out to the clerk who said that it was this store's policy. I don't see that "policy" posted anywhere. I could see if it was a coupon I found on the Internet, but this was a coupon Baskin-Robbins sent to my email address. read more

We stopped by the fox chapel location for ice cream this afternoon and I was excited to try some new flavors since I never get Baskin-Robbins. The employee seemed annoyed that I wanted to sample the flavors and "cut me off" after trying 3 of the 4 I was interested in. I thought he was joking hut he told me they had a 3 sample rule otherwise people would be there all day. I informed him that I didn't need any of his ice cream then and left without buying anything. I've worked in food service in the past and would never be this rude to a customer. I'm a man in my 30's who wasn't trying to take advantage of free samples, just excited about a new thing and wanting to pick something I would really love. Ive never felt so confused and angry at something like ice cream. I will never go back to this franchise or any of the other locations, my money is better spent somewhere that understands dessert is supposed to be fun. 0/5 stars. read more

I was browsing the internet earlier this month, and I came across #treavorfrombaskinrobbins and was immediately intrigued. I did some research and found that a handsome young man named Treavor worked at the nearest Baskin Robbins from me. I grabbed my wallet and immediately ran out the door even though my mother had just cut her hand. "I don't have time for this!" I yelled as I ran out the door with my wallet in my hand. 10 minutes and several car crashes later, and I was down to Baskin Robbins as fast as I could go. I still had the cops on me so I had to move quickly into the store. Then, everything seemed to move in slow motion. Two younger workers were talking to the owner about how they are out of ice cream in a strange voice. It seemed hectic in there, but I ran up to the counter and jumped over to see Treavor from Baskin Robbins. A bloody kitchen, a totaled car and a taze to the abdomen was all worth getting to see him in person. I now have a restraining order on Treavor and am banned from BR but I don't care. #treavorfrombaskinrobbins read more
