It's been a while so I decided to give this location another shot. I purchased my fave... a Medium Cappuccino Blast with Whip Cream and Oreos. This drink ran me $10 and some change. The gentleman charged me nearly $2 to add Oreos to the top of my drink. I was left stunned when I found it was literally "Oreo Dust" and there wasn't a piece of Oreo cookie to be found. The drink itself lacked flavor. It was as if their Cappuccino Blast mix was watered down or something. Definitely not worth $10. Although the gentleman who assisted me was nice this visit just reminded me as to why I don't care for the quality and price of products put out by this particular establishment. read more

Baskin Robbins Pflugerville: A Disappointing Experience I recently visited Baskin Robbins Pflugerville location with high hopes, only to be met with a frustrating experience. While the shop boasts a wide selection of 24 flavors, the stinginess of the management quickly soured my visit. When I requested to sample a few flavors, I was informed that there was a strict limit of two samples per person. Never before have I encountered such a restrictive policy at an ice cream shop. It seems that the new management is more focused on maximizing profits than providing a satisfying customer experience. The joy of trying new flavors was completely diminished by their parsimonious approach. Even when I purchased two scoops, they were carefully measured, leaving no room for excess. If you're looking for a generous and enjoyable ice cream experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Baskin Robbins Pflugerville has unfortunately lost my business due to their disappointing policies and lack of customer-centricity. The faded store sign is just another sign of neglect and a lack of care for the customer experience. I doubt this review will make any difference. Thank you to the cake decorator who made my daughter's birthday cake for her sweet 16!!! I showed her a picture and a simple rose and she executed ! The cake and rocky road ice cream was delicious!!! This is one of the better Baskin Robbin's in the Austin area ! It's located off Dessau by the Walmart Shopping center . Small location but customer service is better than most! read more

This location is open for dine in. It is clean and has nice staff. Young lady made my banana split like she would make it for herself. If you ask for extra it costs extra and it's clear. If customers are not sure about what they get charged for, then it's always a good idea to ask before paying rather than feel unsatisfied afterwards. Ice cream ice cream we all scream for ice cream!!! When I was young there was DQ and Baskin Robbins... that was pretty much it. I have very fond memories of 31 flavors! Ice cream cakes for my bday, the whole family heading over for a scoop or two... and so on. For me this was ice cream. It is still a great place! This location is very clean and extremely friendly! Test any flavor before you buy, load up on scoops in cups or cones and enjoy a good frozen treat. My favorite is the pralines and cream, my wife's the daiquiri ice, my sons golden rule and cotton candy.... there is just about a flavor of some kind or another for everyone. read more

It's Baskin Robbins, so you know what you're getting as far as the ice cream goes. I'm only reviewing to warn you about upcharges. I bought two mini sundaes for my sons. I was asked what topping I wanted, and the kids wanted half m&ms and half gummy bears, with a cherry on top. Seems reasonable. I was charged 5.49 for each sundae, and an extra 6.45 for the toppings. Often a topping is included, but not here. In all, I paid just under $30 for 2 mini sundaes, and the smallest adult sundae. $3.85 was my tip, but still00 $27+ for 3 little sundaes is outrageous, even in these 2023 inflation-ravaged times. read more

I ordered daiquiri ice and I was charged 5.81 cents. Ok. So they normally have waffle cones and this day they didn't. So upon looking at my lumpy piece of ice cream I seen that it was soooooo small I asked could they make it the right size...with a smug look and sucked teeth the cashier went back to have someone reluctantly fix it. First time back in this Baskin Robbins since it closed previously. There has been some changes but improvements still can be made. Food: Of course they still have their 31 flavors but with a twist. They have some of favorites and some new choices as well. Unfortunately, they seem to run out of waffle cones really fast. But overall, it is still good. Service: This is where they can use some improvements and how they got their 3 stars. Employees seem rattled when their is a line of people trying to enjoy ice cream on a hot steamy day. There is no flow or no team work when there is a crowd. In addition, they would pick and choose when to use gloves. They didn't know how to serve customers in order or make sure to provide the up most customer service. I think some additional training is needed when it comes to customer service. Overall: I hope they do well for the summer months and continue discuss on how they can improve their customer service. I wish them well in the future. To management or owner, I hope you read this review so you can improve on your customer service. Suggestion: Task an employee to run the register and wipe down the counters while the other employees complete the orders so there is a continuous flow. Rope off the line so you can see the beginning and the end of the line so there can be some type of order to the service. Hope to see improvements soon. read more

I used to love coming here, but not anymore. I don't know if they have new owners again, but it's not what it used to be. The scoops of ice cream are a lot smaller than before, and now I'm getting charged for an extra scoop ($2 more) for a thick shake. Which turned out wasn't thick at all. What the hell happened to this place? What a waste. I guess I will not be going back to this location again unless they can meet expectations, as they usually did before. read more

I stopped in to get a pint of 'hand-packed' ice cream and I wanted to get three flavors. The young ladies that were working there instantly told me that that would be '3-scoops' of ice cream total. They told me that their boss instructed them to only put 0.75 weight in the pint container, they explained that this would be equivalent to 3 scoops since each scoop is 0.25. I asked them, "...0.75 of what?" and they didn't know. I explained that it should be 16 oz. in a pint which usually weighs 1lb... they seemed a little confused by the math. I explained to them that this is basically a 'rip-off' A couple of days later, I went to Baskin-Robbins on Mopac at Parmer (where I usually go) and ordered the same exact thing. I also noticed that on their menu, it describes the pint as being 'hand-packed' -- So, I stood there and watched her pack the ice cream down into the pint container and I smiled inside.... We ordered an "Anna & Elsa" ice cream cake, from their cake book at the store. When ordering it, they tell my Husband "we will have to basically make this ourselves using different design technique". Husband says "okay, as long as it looks like the picture, cool". They said "it will", fine. We pick it up & I was so ashamed to pull this thing out for my daughters party. It looked NOTHING like the cake besides they got the right color scheme. It looked like I made it home, no one believed me that it was from Baskin Robbins til they saw it was an ice cream cake. I wish I took better close up pictures of how atrocious this was. Fingerprints made up the "mountain" which was a glob of a mess & was referred to as a "white chocolate dipped turd" from a kid, finger print on the side of the cake, breaks in the rim of the Cake, cake details were nowhere near what it was actually supposed to be, I've attached pics (the red X is where we took off the decorations). I had scheduled to pick up a cake on Christmas Eve. I specifically asked if they will be open that day and they guaranteed that they will. They confirmed many times to come pick it up at 2pm. Last minute they changed the time to 11am. As I got there to wait for about an hour alongside with a sweet lady, no one was there or picked up our calls. We were left unnoticed and not warned. That is ridiculous! I have never experienced this type of i professionalism. I come in today and the owner Victor Castillo only offered to give me 50% off my next purchase. Are you kidding me? This place has no sense of compassion or respect for their customers. Been coming here for 10 years and come at least 5 times a year for holiday cakes. WILL NOT BE BACK. We've visited this location 3 separate occasions since they reopened and it's been great every time. Most recently I ordered a cake online for my daughters birthday but unfortunately I put the wrong pick up date on the order. When I went to pick it up and discovered this the employee was very kind and asked if there was anything they could do. I just decided to just pick it up on the date on the order. However my daughter was super disappointed, so back and asked if I could change the pick up date and they were really accommodating and changed the pick up date no problem. We picked up the cake today and it was very nicely done my daughter loved the root beer float style cake. We are very happy with the customer service at this location. Of all days to run errands, here I am running around with below 40 degrees and two little girls. And of all things my 3 year old wants to get some ice cream. Literally the coldest day of the year and she wants me to find her purple ice cream. Really? Well, either way I told her I would try as you never knew what was out there, and I was heading into Pflugerville, so I looked up an ice cream shop and saw good ole' Baskin Robbins. Hah, I used to work at one in the Bay Area in California a long long time ago, but I figured if anyone would have purple ice cream it would be them. Sad to say they didn't, but I am giving Baskin Robbins 4 stars due to the price of ice cream, but on the other hand I do understand that they have to make a living and for that, this would have to be the highest rating I could give an ice cream place. The ladies behind the counter were professional, and one of them was in the process of training someone else there, but was no inconvenience. Either way, my girls both had Dutch chocolate in a single scoop and went for seconds with mint chocolate chip. I myself am a sucker for Pistachio. Meh. F.Y.I...... I bribed my kids with the ice cream, but did it work in the end? Stopped in for the first time with the kids for ice cream. Have one with a nut allergy and the nice young lady who helped us did not hesitate when I told her!! :-) She said she would double wash the ice cream scooper before getting his ice cream and did just that!!
