Not great guys...this location is drive thru only but that wasn't the issue. My Oreo cold brew ice cream was a melted gloppy scoop of sadness. The coffee flavor was its only redeeming quality. The Oreos were all soggy and there was no texture to the ice cream except, for lack of a better word, goopy-ness. If I want to spend $2.75 on a single scoop, I'll go elsewhere. The person working today has had a rough life I think and needs a hug. Or a lot of hugs. Unfortunately, this review will not be one of them. I'm having an extremely difficult time finding appropriate and articulate language to express how awful our experience was at this location. Things went from birthday fun to jarring aggression real fast while the associate enthusiastically explained that it's Baskin Robins "policy" that not only could our family (6 people) not sit together to eat the $30+ cake we preordered for a 5 year olds birthday, but we were also scolded when asking for utensils to eat it with. "It's our policy, if you don't like that it's not my problem." Didn't realize this was a bring your own fork and seating kind of thing, but noted. The tables and utensils they have must be decorative. Company policy. This is all totally understandable -- they must've been overwhelmed with the zero other customers. I now understand why they do such high volume business. Fortunately, after he escalated the situation by yelling and making the situation sound personal he offered to call the cops on my family. This was warmly accepted, though I think he was having a difficult time remembering the number. It's 911, please remember it for future instances. He also challenged us to never return. I think we can match that energy while trying to imagine what pathetic things this person is going to put on, what I hope, is the inevitable resume for his next big opportunity. I like the variety that Baskin Robbins offers. No matter what your ice cream mood, they probably will have something to satisfy you. Individual scopes in cups, or one of the sundae varieties with your choice of ice creams is the way to go. Today I broke away from that because a cone sounded good. I ordered a waffle cone and was a little disappointed when it was handled with bare hands and then wrapped in napkins. With it being a hot day, a little of the ice cream melted down the cone making the napkins become one with the cone. The cone was also made with a giant hole in the bottom. before I could get through the ice cream it was dripping quite a bit out of the bottom. They don't offer a pug treat like most ice cream places, but I will be back, just not for a waffle cone. They also have a drive thru which is nice, but the ice cream options are hard to read. read more

We are in KC on vacation. I ordered a two scoop sundae and the amount I received barely looked like one scoop. Sad. I had a cookie dough scoop (tiny) and a scoop was rocky road (again tiny). They filled my cup with whip cream. Really? Like I wouldn't notice..lol. Very disappointed. Our two sundaes cost $10.27 and I there was probably two scoops total. Come on Baskin Robbins!! I went there last night. The two young girls working there were great. They were very nice. However, the owner/manager kept fussing and ordering them around publicly and apologizing to customers on their behalf. And they were not doing anything wrong. But more importantly my wife and I ordered two shakes. They put freaking water it them. Literally put water in them and then added milk. Not sure if they were trying to stretch their milk or what. Customer service is terrible. We were told we couldn't sit and eat a preordered cake from them on their premises. There are no restrooms and no outdoor seating. I want to like it, because I've been a BR fan my whole life. But they just don't seem to be keeping up with the Culver's and Sheridan's of the world. What would make me like it a lot more is if they gave you an amount of product that was equal to the prices. As it is, the sundaes are way overpriced, as are most of the cones. I'll go here if I have a coupon, and the service is friendly and all, but there's a locally-owned ice cream place about a quarter-mile from here that would get my business over BR just about anytime. read more

BR is a dying company in the KC area. This one is close to me but I think it only is still open because it has a drive thru. Majority of the time the ice cream taste re-frozen to me. If I am craving my world class chocolate favorite I'll go here because it's close. Otherwise, if I got the time and gas I'll travel to Johnson Dr's BR. read more

I liked this place. Their German chocolate cake ice cream is really good. The only thing to make it better is if it were a local business. The good thing about baskin Robbins is the consistency across the country. It's nice knowing there is always a place with quality ice cream near by. I look forward to the day Baskin Robbins is no more. I went in to get my birthday scoop, normally you can show an email and redeem the coupon. I was told mine would need to be printed out. One measly scoop denied when they probably would have sold 2 because my husband was with me. Customer Service said happy birthday you need to print it out when they knew it had expired already. This location is out of the way anyways save the trip and visit orange leaf that is what I did. I get about 20 birthday freebies and this is the only time a printout has been required. read more

They of course have 31 flavors and some of those flavors are sorbet so those that can't eat milk products can have a sweet treat. Lots of toppings and always pretty easy to get in and out. Go late in the evening on a summer night you will have to wait. read more

We went here to use the free birthday scoop. We got charged 15 cents for getting the tiny scoop in a cake cone. The cones were stale and gross. The ice cream was fine, but the old cones ruined it. BR ice cream is all standard -- same from one location to the next. But the staff at this location has been rude every one of the 5 times I've been in. I only go there to use coupons, and they contest every coupon I try to use -- whether it's from Entertainment Book, or the BR web site, or the BR Facebook page. Not worth it. Won't go back.
