I really wanted to like this place but I have some serious concerns about cleanliness. It is self-serve, and the handles are all sticky, and some of the samples were even incredibly watery. It is easy to sample the products yourself, but I think they need some better monitoring and more frequent cleaning to keep the food safe. Alright, well 10 years later, I came back--and the experience was much better. The original tart reminds me of pink berry--it's actually tart and creamy. No lumps, no extra sugar like stated from my original review. They had mochi and fresh fruits. Their credit card machine was weird and the cashier swiped my card a good 5 times today. I love frozen yogurt so we had to come check this on out. The location is very accessible, it is connected to a shopping mall so parking is always available. The toppings were all neatly placed and all looked fresh! The froyo flavors themselves were rather limited but I happened to find two flavors that I loved. I ended up topping my cheesecake and peanut butter frozen yogurt with cheesecake, brownies, strawberries and a little bit of fruit pebbles and it's was so yummy, it is self serve by the way. Pricing was cheaper then I expected! I usually end up paying around 20-30 bucks at other frozen yogurt locations but I only spent 11 bucks here. I found time to write a review since I've been super busy with work. Yay! I came here with a bunch of people I was eating dinner with earlier because dessert sounded good. It was a Friday night and this place was packed. It was only after 8:20pm or so. There were around 12 flavors (or more) from what I could remember. I tried the Original Tart, Cupcake, and Peaches and Cream but nothing else. The Original Tart was good and tasted the way it does at a lot of other froyo places. The Cupcake was tasty and the Peaches and Cream tasted good. They were not too sweet which was good. I decided to get the smaller of the two bowls and got Original Tart and Cupcake. I added both popping boba (strawberry and mango flavors) as well as fruity pebbles (reminded me of my childhood so I got some). The price will vary on how many toppings you get as well as how much froyo you put in your bowl. The price was 39 cents per ounce which would be about average that I've seen in California so I can assume it was average in the Midwest. I haven't been to a lot of froyo places in Kansas or Missouri but it was in the normal price range. There were tables and chairs but not a whole lot. The people who worked here seemed nice and were cleaning up or refilling the toppings when there was down time. Good place for some froyo even if it's in the 30s outside. read more

No doubt it was poppin' a few years ago, however, its birthday cake ice cream with a bitter after taste and stale candy toppings indicate that those days might be over. 3 stars is because they charge WAY too much. It is ridiculous to believe for even 1 second that a cup of fro yo should cost more than $5. For this place, what should only cost $5, actually costs $15. Do I love fro yo? Why yes, yes I do. Is this store really close to my home? Why yes, yes it is. Will I continue to buy my fro yo there? NO F-ING way. Not for that price. I'd rather drive someplace 20 min away from my house than patronize this place. The owner is price gouging their patrons and it needs to stop. oreos tasted like cantaloupe yogurt itself was bussing staff humbled my sister because they just swiped the card and it didn't work and instead of trying the chip they oh well and she looked like a poorsie also the spoon situation was confusing as hell. the bowl had a perimeter of green spoons making it look like a green bowl with one orange spoon in the middle. i said "do you have anymore spoons?" and they looked at me like i was a nincompoop and said "yeah they're right there...." i would MAYBE recommend peachwave also when we exited the parking lot, we drove on the wrong side of the road. say what you want about our driving skills but to me that proves peachwave does not care about the safety of their patrons. read more

While I pretty firmly believe that self-serve frozen yogurt is a fad that will come and go, I do enjoy it while it's here. This location is always super clean, staffed with a friendly attendant (or 2) and stocked in all the yogurt and toppings. This was just perfect on a hot summer day. The amount of care and precaution they put towards Covid prevention was greatly appreciated. They had a sanitizer stand as you enter the building before touching any cups or before dispensing any yoghurt. The staff dispensed any toppings and even used tongs to hand us the spoons. It was my first time here so I didn't pay attention. They all filled up a green cup. They ate all the toppings but left half of the frozen yoghurt. We have come here for ever a year spending about $20-30 per month. We came once more and just after we paid, our 4 year old daughter accidentally dumped hers over on the way to the table. The young lady working behind the counter just watched. She didn't offer to help or even say anything. Then when we very politely asked if we could replace it, she responded with "I am not sure". What kind of answer is that? When it became obvious that she would not seek out an answer, we asked to see the manager. She responded that manager was not there. So that was that. It was obvious she was going to simply be an obstruction so I asked when the manager was going to be there since she was not going to offer up a solution. She wouldn't say but offered to take my name and number. So I provided it. I will update with the response. Bottom line is we can show we have spent north of $300 here over the last year or so and they couldn't even offer a resemblance of help for $4 worth of yogurt. Unfortunately this led to our daughter crying because she didn't have one. We went ahead and replaced it for $4 despite being very unhappy with the consideration and handling of this situation. I will await the call from the manager to discuss how they train their employees to handle these types of situations. read more

We love coming to this Peachwave location. The toppings are always well stocked, nest, and clean. The employers are always nice and polite. We love the different flavors offered, and there are always new things to try. It is also really fun to see pictures of my daughter and her friends on the tv behind the toppings bar. It's a nice little touch, and something fun for our community. Even when this place is busy, they do a great job of serving all customers quickly, and they keep the place very clean. Bottom Line: This is an excellent FroYo joint that does everything right, and nothing extraordinary. Truth be known, most of the FroYo places are pretty much the same in theory and execution, only the signange changes. PeachWave has your typical choice of 10-12 selections, $.39 per oz, and a couple dozen topping choices. I think the quality of the yogurt is a bit higher than some of the other choices in town, with a nice creamy texture, and not soupy like some can be. Their seasonal flavors are usually pretty dang good, and I'm still a bit hurt that the Pumpkin Pie didn't make it into the regular rotation. They've replaced with a Chocolate Coconut Truffle that is my current dirty obsession. You should give a FroYo review without adding your favorite combo, so here it is: Cupcake Yogurt, Chocolate Coconut Truffle Yogurt, Chocolate Chips, White Chocolate Chips, and Fruity Pebbles, yes Fruity Pebbles. If you haven't tried Fruity Pebbles in your FroYo yet, then climb out of the cave and feel real sunshine for the first time. It just might change your life forever. read more

I gravitate towards the fruit flavors (mango and orange). I also have got to have some popping bobas as well. The popping bobas are amazing. I love them! I love me some Peachwave! It seems self-serve frozen yogurt places are hard to come by around here so I frequent Peachwave. Ever time I visit, there are a good amount of people even during the freezing months! The place is pretty large, at least compared to the frozen yogurt places I've grown accustomed to back in Southern California. The decor is bright and warm. The tables and chairs are wacky and fun. It's a good place to chill and chat with friends. As for the yogurt, my taste buds are a fan. Their flavors rotate often and they usually are good with having seasonal flavors like gingerbread or eggnog during the Christmas seasons. My favorite is usually their mango and Reese's flavors. Their toppings are pretty typically and they do have mochi but I would not suggest it. The few times I have had their mochi, I have been disappointed because it was not fresh and was pretty hard. The mochi gets even harder almost like hard candy once it contacts your frozen yogurt. Mochi is supposed to be soft and chewy almost like tapioca pearls. The employees are nice as are the owners. It's nice that they greet you whenever you step in. They also have a water dispenser which is quite convenient. I crave Peachwave quite a few times and it satisfies my sweet tooth. I like creating my own dessert at 39 cents per ounce. I just wish they had fresher mochi. read more

It's not ice cream, which I'm partial to, but the flavors offered here are pretty spot on. Currently the red velvet cake, cheesecake, and maple flavors are pretty good. There's about 40 or so toppings to choose from in addition to a dozen or so icing on the cake types (hot fudge, caramel syrup, butterscotch syrup, etc.). Peachwave is a great spot for DIY frozen yogurt. They offer an assortment of flavors and will give you small cups to sample the flavors if you're not quite sure what you want. I'm a fan of the dairy free fruit flavors topped with fresh fruit and dark chocolate pieces! When I'm avoiding dairy, I omit the chocolate but it is still a delicious yogurt creation with the fruit! They have cookie dough, brownie pieces, all kinds of candies, nuts, pretzels, and my personal favorite Boba! The Boba are so delicious and fun to eat, like little fruit juice bites! They also have several syrup flavors to add. You weigh your yogurt and pay based on the weight so if you're on a budget keep that in mind when selecting heavy toppings. I was very happy with the options available. This is also a possible yogurt spot for vegans and dairy free! There are several options that are dairy free, which is great and can be hard to find around town! read more

Only reason for 3 stars vs 5 is not having any no sugar added options..as according to the website there are several options..we picked this place for that specific reason as there are members of our family that are diabetic. While I assumed they wouldn't have all the flavors..I thought they would at least have one option.. Peachwave is a pretty great frozen yogurt place. There are several good flavors to choose from, and the selection of toppings is excellent; yogurt, sorbet, gelato, fresh fruit, nuts, candy, sauces, etc. Peachwave fits the standard naming convention of 'fruit-noun' that I've noticed with most fro-yo places (e.g. "Cantaloupe Armchair"). I think they'd do well to include some whole milk yogurts. I don't understand everybody's aversion to full-fat dairy. I'd eat frozen butter if they offered it. read more

With my daughter's gluten allergy, we have found that our options for ice cream shops is very limited. This is now our "go to" place as they have a large variety of GF flavors.
