Been going to Baskin Robbins ever since I was a kid and have always enjoyed my experience. They have so many options to choose from and I like that they have a flavor of the month. Their prices have been going up lately and it is getting a little to expensive for the amount of ice cream that you are getting. I usually get toppings with my ice cream but since the prices go up I have to sacrifice my toppings. The employees are so nice especially Maile, Kazy, and Cynthia. read more

During my visit here I witnessed a few unprofessional things. The staff was not paying attention to the customers. It took about 10min for me to get recognized, and even then they just starred at me until I placed my order. The employees are too busy having their own conversations and eating samples of ice cream, when they are not getting yelled at by the managers. One employee overfilled a shake and the manager just completely went crazy over it saying that they are easily replaceable and that they are lucky to be here. I also overheard the other manager yelling at another employee about things not being placed correctly and that they don't know why they hired them. I was here long enough to see the managers leave and as soon as they left I overheard the employees talking about the managers behind their backs. This is why I have chosen to give them one star. BEWARE when purchasing a gift card from this Baskin-Robbins! My mother purchased a gift card and her receipt said the amount balance of the card, but when I tried to redeem the card in another Baskin-Robbin location, there was zero balance. TL;DR: Order your ice cream cakes well in advance! I ordered a specific Star Wars cake online for pickup the day before my son's birthday. I was feeling ill the day it was ready, so picked it up the day of the party instead. They did the wrong Star Wars design and the girl working there said it would take 24 hours to do a new one. I asked for half the price of the cake back and she said she'd have to call her manager. The manager said I was entitled to $10 (25% of the total price) back, and no apology offered by him/her. I was too tired and under the weather to argue with the poor teenage girl working there, who had nothing to do with any of this but apologized anyway. read more

This place gets 2 stars for the taste & quality of the ice cream, which, I might mention, you can get at ANY Baskin Robbins. The youngsters behind the counter had no respect, no customer service abilities, not a thought in their heads, and when I brought up the fact that we had been ignored for the last 15 minutes, they looked at me like I was speaking martian. Last time I was in the workers were talking badly about a customer who had just left instead of taking my order, and then proceeded to be rude as they helped me. Today I witnessed a rude man yelling at a young girl who was pregnant to leave Baskin-Robbins because she was sitting in the chairs outside of Baskin Robbins evidently she was having trouble with the heat and needed somewhere cool to sit down for a few minutes. Anyone who has been to Lakewood Mall know that there are chairs outside a Baskin Robbins where there are no signs that indicate that Baskin Robbins owns the chairs or that they are only for Baskin Robbins customers . I found out that this man who yelled at this young woman is the owner of Baskin Robbins. There's no reason to be so rude because somebody comes in for a few minutes to sit in a cool place. THERE IS NO EXCUSE for bad behavior. She Is pregnant . I will no longer be giving Baskin Robbins my business. read more

We tried to get ice cream here the other night. No acknowledgment when we walked in. No designated line. Old lady cut in front of us and started asking a million questions. Then another couple cut in front of us. The workers have no idea what is going on and don't pay any attention to who's in line/who's not. Place was a mess. The ice cream itself tastes okay, but it's over priced. As of my last visit, I've decided to never visit this Baskin Robbins again. My friend and I were sitting at their table, and though the ice cream parlor was completely empty and there was plenty of seating throughout, the owner approached us and asked us to leave. When we pointed out that there was plenty of seating and we didn't see why we were being asked to leave, he continued to shoo us away. And when we left, he sarcastically said "thanks for being so mature about it." My friend and I were very quiet and calm during our visit, and while he was telling us to leave for no reason other than we were sitting at the table talking. There is no doubt that this is one of the worst Baskin Robbins I've ever been to. When I was walking throughout the store, searching for an ice cream to try, I noticed that the counters in the back were severely unclean and only one girl of the few working was making an effort to clean it off. However, I was sickeningly thrown off when I witnessed a COCKROACH crawling on the BANANAS which they use to make smoothies, splits, and other things. I kept attention to the ground as I was ordering and witnessed many other cockroaches on the ground. Disgusting. There's got to be some kind of health code for something like that. People I know who have worked here previously announced to me that it is certainly a problem. Another thing I noticed was the mistreatment of the owners to their team. I witnessed a young girl being reprimanded for the look of her scoop and heard the owner himself tell her that if she didn't get it together, he would fire her. Disrespectful. I was offended by my trip, I won't be going to Baskin Robbins again. Cold stone for the win. read more

I have been going to this place for years. Now I avoid it like the plague! The new owner is unbelievably rude and the customer service from the rest of the staff is terrible. The last four times I went in, I was the only one in the store, and I stood at the counter waiting to be acknowledged by one of the four girls working but was ignored. I ended up walking out the last time without being helped and I haven't been back since. Im usually don't take the time to write a bad review about a place but this was necessary.
