We decided to get BR as this was our go to ice cream on the West Coast. The store was filthy with dirt and sticky stuff all over the floor. I ordered a $9.00 sundae to have the obviously brand new teenager (good for him to get a summer job) scoop out my chosen ice cream, then switch to the kid scoop and take half of the original sized scoop and place it in the huge cup. After the entire sundae was in the cup, he chose my toppings for me, it only took up maybe a third of the cup. I commented but nothing was done about the portions. Maybe he knew I wanted to be on a diet anyway. The regular two scoop orders I had were fine, but the sundae and milkshake didn't even come close to filling the containers. read more

It says they are suppose to open at 11am, we arrived at 11:30. As we were pulling away someone had shown up to go inside and open. We weren't waiting around for someone to first get inside and then have to open shop before we would be allowed inside. I give them two starts though because when they are open, they are decently friendly. read more

My children and I went to this location 5 mins before closing (I know, I'm that person‍). The owner greeted us at the door with a huge smile on her face and welcomed us inside. You could tell with how clean everything was and covers were on all the ice creams, that she was about to close up but she opened everything back up just for me and my children! Haven't been here in a while until I came last Saturday night and it appears that there is either a new owner or manager who reminded me of Mother Goose. She had all her helpers lined -up in a row. I didn't have any issues with the young people working and being very attentive to all customers. The person I had issues with was the helicopter-like mom who needed to serve you the ice cream the way she thought everyone, including her would want it. Both my husband and I ordered sundaes and the young man who was helping me was doing a fine job, had asked me what topping I wanted. I told him that I didn't want fudge or maple syrup or whatever runny stuff they had. I wanted something akin to the magic shell. He knew exactly what I wanted. He said that they happened to have something like that on hand. I guess normally they don't have this hardening chocolate, but the woman was dipping cones in it when he approached her and told her how I wanted some of that "hardening fudge" on my sundae. Anyhow, she explained that they only had it in for a special promotion dipping sugar cones in it. She said told me that I could have it, but it would be an extra charge, and that I wouldn't want it because it wouldn't harden the way I thought it would. I saw that it had already hardened on the shells that she had dipped. Whatever. She tried to sell me on the hot fudge or the other syrup, but I believe she wasn't listening to me because I clearly told her that I didn't want any liquid. I asked her if those were an additional charge, and she had said "no". I asked her if the fudge that she claimed wouldn't harden if that was additional, and she didn't budge looked at the guy who was helping me and said "just go ahead and give it to her." In a rude way, mind you. Once the young man put some chocolate on my sundae, guess what? it hardened. The woman rang me up, and would you believe she kept going on about how it wouldn't harden, even as I showed it to her? Some of the young people working there laughed at her for being so stubborn and trite. She continued at the register about how it's not the same and doesn't taste the same as the hot fudge. I told her, "No, it doesn't taste like that runny hot fudge, it tastes much better." read more

Placed order online for 11:15a pick-up. Store was not open. Called after noon & they were open. Sent husband to pick up cake (we were in the middle of our party by this time) and this is what we got. Made contact with manager the following Monday. She was unsympathetic to the issue and offered only $5 compensation and said that despite advertised 11am opening time, "everyone" knows the store doesn't open til noon. However, I received no phone call to discuss changing the pick-up time. -- Then at some point she claimed the notice they got said 12:15. If this is the case, this is an issue with corporate. I have tried calling to talk to someone from corporate, but they just send me back to the store. Needless to say, I do not recommend this store and will not be returning. read more

If you've been burned before, give them another chance. New owner told us he just bought the business a month ago and he was in the trenches working his tail off. Yes there was a line but he was literally running back and forth to serve that line. Thankfully, everyone was as patient and kind as he was. He had one other worker with him and she was holding her own while they tag teamed getting people ice cream and cashing out customers. They were even taking time to make waffle cones for anyone that requested them. Yes, a little longer wait, but worth it. Give them a shot. They are working to reclaim that store. Hello to any future baskin robbins costumer! This particular location has never failed to amaze me. Their employees are so incredible and always get me exactly what I want with no complaints and let me have many, many samples!! They are so friendly and you can tell they love what they're doing, i mean who dosent love ice cream!!? All in all, great ice cream, great staff, great business, great vibes!! My particular employee who was serving me was extremely friendly and even gave my son derrick free ice cream and we talked about life and she even gave me the biggest hug because i was having a bit of a rough day which im guessing she could tell through my facial expressions. This is a pretty standard Baskin Robbins location. The ice cream served is consistent with the BR brand. We love the mint chocolate chip and lemon custard. This location is staffed by teenagers and don't expect stellar customer service by a long shot. The interior of the store could use a deep clean. On summer nights this place can be swarming with locals - the one saving grace is the outdoor seating area which is typically not that crowded. read more

This place has gone down the craphole in the last few years. The last time I went there before tonight was about a year ago. It was run by rude high school students. I waited over half an hour in a long line, and getting constantly cut in line by likewise rude customers. When I was finally up to the line, another rude mother with a screaming child JUST ENTERED the building, cut in line and started ordering. When I said excuse me, I've been here a half hour. The teenagers under their employment told me to go to the back of the line and they'd get to me. I even wrote a complaint to the store and they called me at the worst times to 'check up' on the review and when I finally got a decent time to speak to them, their HR only said "Sir, I don't understand the problem". I'm sure anyone reading can see the problem. so I go tonight because my mother was dead set on wanting Jomocha almond fudge (I probably spelled that wrong) and yet again it happened. Teenagers are working there, waited in line through a busy store, and they kept letting parents with kids cut in line but at least tonight when I brought up that we (me and some other people) had been in line for 10 minutes, the teenagers had the slightly more polite dismissal of "We're pretty sure she was here first" even though she had just entered. this place needs to either redesign it's layout to make it not so easy for people to cut in line, or get rid of these snobbish kids. read more
