I took the kids to the grand opening of Baskin Robbins on Woodway today. The employees were excellent. I was greeted by two employees in the parking lot, and they gave me coupons for visiting and signing up for email offers. Once inside, the manager (Mark, I believe) greeted me with a smile and assisted with our order. The other two employees inside seemed genuinely excited and happy. We got two kid sized cups w/ sprinkles and a single scoop cup. The kids' scoops were pretty big , which they really enjoyed. The mascot also came around and took pictures and interacted with the kids. I don't think we've ever met one that actually talked back, but this one did and made their day. Also, the restrooms were immaculate! I think maybe because we were the among the first customers set of customers? Haha. At any rate, I didn't shiver at the sight like I usually do with public restrooms. I'm only giving four stars because none of the activities that were advertised actually happened. There was supposed to be face painting, a balloon artist, photo booth, etc....but there was only the mascot...a little disappointing. read more

Our go to ice cream parlor! Friendly staff, generous scoops! Have noticed that ice cream is softer than usual. Maybe a defrost or maintenance on the freezer is in order. Last few visits scoops aren't as generous so we don't go as often read more

OH YES!!! Baskin-Robbins and I go wayyyyy back, like 5 years back when I used to live in Vietnam (It was like THE ice cream place). This place has such a wide variety of ice cream, it's literally so hard for me to choose which one I wanna get (though I always end up picking the cotton candy one for some reason haha). If i could give this a NEGATIVE score i would. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE with the rudest MANAGEMENT/OWNER. I'm highly disappointed as I'm a loyal and long time Baskin Robbins customer. I was excited to see that this location was so close to my home and I'm a regular in there. I decided to come in and purchase a cake for a friends birthday. I gave them specifics and even paid in advance. I received a call a day before the cake was suppose to be made to go over details with cake decorator which i spoke to and even suggested that i come by just so we make sure everything is perfect. She says no it's okay I know what you want. I come and pick up my cake and it is horrendous. Nothing like the o line pictures as advertised nor were my directions followed. It was so bad to the point that both employees who have helped me before since I'm regular busted out laughing because it was so ugly. If you've ever heard that time what you order vs what you get that's exactly what happened. I was mortified i was headed to a surprise party where i was responsible for the cake. The two employees were so kind trying to figure out a solution and to contact the manager and no answer from anyone. I waited 30 mins waiting for a call back before i was pressed for time. Had to leave with the UGLY cake because once again i paid for it already. Still no answer back and i show up to the facility next day to speak to manager who wasn't there so we had a phone conversation. He was rude and honestly i don't even know how he's running a business. I asked for a resolution because i didn't want to keep returning to the store. He said no worries you won't have to come back. He then proceeded to make me bring the cake back for proof which wasted my time in going to grab the cake from my friends place to bring back to the store. This is now a whole day after the cake was picked up and i kid you not only two pieces were eaten only because the cake was already sitting for a WHOLE DAY! The owner offered me a messily 50% for my refund since the cake has two slices missing! Mind you if his employees day of just told me to leave the cake i would have but no answer from anyone and he took no responsibility in the fact that the store had NO procedures for what if a customer wasn't satisfied. I am super upset and angry and will never step foot in the establishment again. The money wasn't even the big issue it's the principle. The cake being a main piece in a party. I had to arrive with an ugly cake and hide it while asking for someone else to run out to look for one. It's the fact that not only was i INCONVENIENCED but the audacity of him to go back and forth with me after his employees saw how terrible the job was and make me go get a cake to bring back and give me only 50% refund. You owe me more than just that. The time and gas i had to spend the stress of trying to find another cake. What a terrible business owner if i could i would tell everyone about this experience who steps foot in there for them to know how terrible of an experience i had. His employees were more sympathetic and understanding than him. EFFIN TERRIBLE!!!! read more

I am so excited that this Baskin Robbins has opened next to a favorite Mexican restaurant! I frequently eat at many places around this location. I was disappointed the last few times that the ice cream especially chocolate was not very frozen. My husband had the chocolate chip and it's usually good. We were there at 9:30 pm. They were cleaning with a cleaner that was so strong we had to leave to go outside. Also the tables for the booths were pulled into the middle of the room. I think all of this can be done when they actually close. read more

Great that Baskin Robbins has finally returned to Tanglewood/Briargrove. Many of us who grew up in the neighborhood always will remember BR as our ice cream of choice at the old location on Westheimer/Chimney Rock. I drove by and noticed the new location. I did a u-turn and drove my daughter to get a mango frozen yogurt. I had the lemon custard ice cream, my longtime favorite. Fantastic service. So glad to have a Baskin-Robbins close to home. read more
