The Baskins Robbins inside the Aurora Mall's ice cream is old. I purchased a quart of Black Walnut ice cream it was so old that it would not melt. The guy went on and on that I was saving 3 dollars. Sad to see a brand I enjoyed so much as a kid go so hopelessly downhill. The location is dated and dirty. Considering no one was here when we arrived one of the 2 guys could've cleaned up. Friendly service but crappy checkout. Tried to use t-mobile Tuesday gift cards here. The ice cream is so expensive you have to use multiple codes, which the cashier enters INDIVIDUALLY. After braving through that we tried to use a coupon from the BR app, "buy two scoops and get a waffle cone upgrade free". Literally the only reason we ordered two scoops was to get the waffle cone. Cashier said he couldn't "figure out how to do that in the register, I got you next time." 2 stars because the employees are kind and the ice cream was good, but overpriced+clueless+dated technology+dirty location = no return read more

Used to be a huge BR fan. So much so that I owned three BR stores in the '90's and early '00's. I know firsthand that the franchise agreement with Allied Domecq requires the unit to open 363 days per year. (We closed on Thanksgiving day and Christmas Day.) We just stopped by on a warm summer Sunday (8/13/17), and lo and behold, the store is locked, dark, with chairs on the tables. No note on the door, nothing. Obviously, this unit is about to go the way of most BR stores - BANKRUPT. No worries franchisee, don't worry about the inconvenience to your customers, because there is a clean, fresh, and friendly COLD STONE CREAMERY just down the street on Buckley at Quincy. Take your ice cream business here people. They aren't friendly at the BR31 anyway - even when they ARE open! read more

My whole family are in love with the Baskin Robbins pistachio ice cream. The Baskin Robbins chain is actually poppin' in Korea, and we carried that tradition of being such fans here to America. The place is just an average ice cream shop, cold and a fun atmosphere. I always get the big bucket of pistachio ice cream and get a smaller bucket of whatever I'm feeling that day. A couple of days ago I got rocky road, which I thought was dank af. I honestly don't know why this place has such low reviews, every time I go there I always get what I want and leave the place quickly with no problems. I just think that for some reason Baskin Robbins has a bad reputation in America, but in Korea they're so popular and so many Koreans love this place. They have exactly 31 flavors that you can choose from, all of them are top-notch, premium quality ice cream that you really can't find anywhere else. Try this place out! read more

First of all this store deserves 0 stars but yelp doesn't allow that. Horrible service!! First time they didn't have lids and the shakes were extremely watery. So I asked this time if they could make it a little thicker a shake shouldn't be watery. And he just said only if you want to pay extra. So I asked him to put less milk in but he wouldn't. When he completed the shakes I asked for whipped cream and he stated they don't come with whipped cream so it costs extra. I've never been to a baskin Robbins where they charge. I worked for a combo store togos/baskin Robbins in California about 5 years ago as a manager and the quality was a million times better than this place and never did we charge for whipped cream or have watery shakes. I'm appalled at the level of quality and service that this store deems as acceptable. I said it last time we wouldn't be back and today I tried to give a second chance but nope never going back to this store. read more

They constantly close early. Today their freezer went out and posted signs all over the window. So unprofessional and to make it worse they were rude. Not the greatest ice cream place in town. The strip mall this Baskin-Robbins resides in is a bit older, but the store seemed to be up to modern standards. My double chocolate (what else?) milkshake was a bit too much milk not enough shake for $5 and change. The service was nice enough, although I did feel like I was dragging someone away from their homework, or a priceless episode of Family guy. They had one person working and a long line this time. The ice cream and waffle cone themselves taste delicious. Never fails. And no, they do not have all 31 flavors. They do have plenty of choices to choose from though. So, don't worry, you won't leave without getting any ice cream. The tables and chairs were not wiped down but there were so many people in the store she didn't have time. I have been coming here every summer growing up and even take my kids now. We always come to this store. They are friendly. I do recommend this as your neighborhood ice cream shop. read more

The ice cream cakes were as expected. However, when we asked the store worker to write 'Happy Birthday' on the cake she said she could not. The worker then rang us up, but left to help the only other customer in the store before handing us the cake. We have used this Baskin Robbins for cakes several other times, and they always were helpful with whatever we wanted on a cake. Not sure if this is a limited incident with one worker. read more

This is literally the BEST BR store i've been too. The infrastructure is a little disoriented but for the most part, i've personally seen the employees clean, so it makes up for it! The ice cream of course is great, although there are some flavors that are very unnecessary like Bourbon Pie and this walnut flavor, but overall i'm so grateful and happy with service i received, especially from three employees!! Not sure what their names are but the one with colorful had the sweetest most kind attitude. The other was a tall girl and her work ethic was phenomenal, not to mention the sweet gay guy that was really polite, it made me feel welcome. Also his makeup was really good never seen anything like it. Glad to know there's still good employees! The only complaint i have is the new chair setup! Ordered a root beer float cake thing for fathers day. Some snotty teenager took the order " yea it's a great cake blah blah" go in a 4 days later to pick up no paper work for the root beer cake .. heck the don't even have any left lol.so they get all weird and pull out this cake from the back freezer. It's a quarter of a round cake. I have 8 people coming over so I'm screwed. I know I know go somewhere else to get a cake. My dad loves their cakes. Same great flavors of ice available in a cone, cup, or take home pint as any other BR location. What takes away from this place are the attitudes from the "Dude, I so should be doing something better" staff and the "Sketchy, will my car be OK if I park under a light post" location. read more

Went to baskin robbins at illiff and buckley in aurora co. We were having a great time and had just entered the ice cream shop and saw this young blonde haired kid with pretty frizzy hair bent all inside the freezer case allowing for multiple hair strands to fall into the ice cream. Owner needs to make sure that that employees wear hair nets unless you enjoy hair in your favorite ice cream. LOL Seeing the young kid with his hair hanging out really tipped me off. i took a picture of teh kid ,but I didn't include it in this review as I didn't think that it was a good idea to expose him. It was my sons 3 bday and I needed a Spider-Man ice cream cake. I call and the person who helped me was really nice. I asked how much for the cake and he said 35.99. I show up the next day to pick it up and none of the staff know how to ring it up so the manager helps. She tells me the cake is &50.00. I told her it can't be because when I ordered it they said 35.99 and there's no way tax is that high. She said the guy who took my order was mistaken. I don't understand how something that is the stores problem is now mines. She said she can take 5$ off but the Spider-Man toy is 9.99 regardless and I can get another cake if I want. I didn't ask for any add one. I just wanted the 35.99 Spider-Man cake. Terrible service read more

WTH, I went into this store (Buckley and Iliff)and SEVERAL things they were out of,(or couldn't make because they were out of the item(s) for it, four different all together.) Further the store was kinda dirty, floor, counters, napkins on floor, just in general. Then as the one item I could get them to make because they had the items for it, I overhear that they will not be taking credit cards for some reason, (they posted it on the door shortly thereafter) On top of it all, I had to explain to the employee HOW TO MAKE A FREAKING BANANA SPLIT??? WTH!!! Despite the fact there was a picture of a banana split on the menu on the wall. This is after I pointed it out! The banana split was poorly made and wasn't very good. Out of the four things I intended to get, I was only able to get one. I went to DQ to complete my order! I didn't even get a receipt for my purchase. read more

This is the first review I have written and I am sorry to know that it is a negative one I had recently moved here from Illinois at the beginning of the year and decided to go out to get some ice cream previously this week the baskin robins at my previous residence were fair not good not bad but the staff were polite which is more than i could say for this one i came in and asked for a simple double scoop of chocolate with mint nothing hard yet the young man who was serving me (i dont know his name) seemed to have an attitude and it took him several times to figure out what i wanted and instead of saying exuse me or something similar he just said "what!". after him saying this about 4-5 times i was fed up and simply took what he had scooped (which was wrong) and payed for it. This store deserves 0 stars but yelp doesn't allow this. Problem = Keana. She is the lead at this location and doesn't have a clue regarding customer service. I simply wanted a scoop of strawberry ice cream with a chocolate cookie for my daughter. She informed this is impossible because it wasn't on the menu. I showed her the exact cookie on the "Clown Cone," but she stated she didn't have any made with strawberry ice cream. She said I could only have the scoop of strawberry ice cream with the cookie on the cone if I ordered a "Clown Cone." I said fine, then she stated it would take 30 minutes... even though she had a co-worker and we were the ONLY ones in the store. She then offered to charge me $4 for a single scoop of ice cream and the cookie, but wouldn't be able to add anything else. Bottom line: Keana needed to call it a "Clown Cone" just so she could figure out how to ring it up. Keana needs to learn that this is ice cream, not rocket science.
