Also surprising was my wife's Vanilla Bean, a rich, flavorful vanilla - not the boring vanilla ice cream we have had in the past. They serve Gunther's Ice Cream, if you do not recognize the name let me share that it is one of the tastiest ice cream with legendary large scoops. Our family travels to Collin's Lake every year, we rave about their ice cream and scoops. Only to find out it's Gunther's. And the fact we have a local location serving Gunther's, so dangerously good! Gunters is from Sacramento and is an icon. There are two dedicated parking spaces right outside Yogurt Island. It's on the same side as Ace hardware, on the corner across from Skippolinis. When you enter my kids immediately get distracted by the giant chalkboard lining the left hand wall. Adding art before they select their treat. They serve great portions and always have a random treat selection. Cotton candy, candy, chips, etc. Bring cash for tip, you can't leave a tip on card. There's a few tables, photo bench, and palm tree head. Hard to explain but when you see it, you can't unsee it. This is our favorite ice cream spot, happy to share a little hidden gem.
