I took it to cpr Meridian, and they fixed my phone in 2 hours charging me half what Forge Corners did. The CPR tech said, my phone was dirty, no corrosion had been cleaned, and nothing had been touched. Hence it only took a short time to fix, ie clean up the corrosion from the water damage. SEPTEMBER 22, 2026-I went into the apple store to see if i could give them my trade-in watch as opposed to me waiting for the box to come to send it back to apple for my credit on my account or on the purchase. and they said yes, sure. so they had an associate working with me. he didn't seem to know a whole lot about the trade-ins and what have you, so i tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and working with him as he kept looking for help on how to do the trade-in And after him, seeking some help, he indicated that my trade in would be $280.90. Credit to the watch. I had mentioned to him that I purchased this online and had it credited to my Apple account. Well, after he started doing all the trade-in stuff, he credited my credit card, not the Apple credit card. So therefore, I was stuck with that credit on my Apple card for $280.90, which should've never have happened. It should've gone to my Apple card to affect my trade-in value to keep my payments at $23.66. I never gave it a second thought what he had done after I mentioned to him I purchased this off of my Apple Card. When I got home, I looked at my email to see the receipt, and I noticed that it went towards a separate credit card other than Apple Card for a credit balance on that credit card of $280.90. That should've never happened. He really messed up. I tried to call the Apple Store and could not get through, so I called Apple's customer service support line to offer me some assistance. I spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue and told him the whole mix-up they were extremely nice to me, even though I was not very happy with them, not the person that was helping me but with the transaction, and I mentioned that to the person that I was not angry with them. I was angry at the situation, that I was put into. I had asked her to call the Apple Store for me to see if they could go ahead and help me out with this because now I'm gonna be faced higher payments and this trading credits is not gonna go towards this phone.
