Vagher was competitive, not the low bid, but it was clear Mike knew his stuff. He sets expectations and commitments which he plans to meet. He let us know right away his schedule and how to get on his calendar. He and his team showed up on the day he committed and worked full days until the job was done. These guys take pride in their work. They called me when they needed our opinion on something and made suggestions based on experience and current trends. They included dust mitigation in the big which worked out nicely. They cleaned up after themselves and prepped trim for paint, you'll want to plan to touch up or repaint trim after the job. This project required us to move everything out of kitchen and living areas and Vagher's needed additional room in the garage too. They have all the right tools and it's obvious from the results they know how to use them. If you have a project where good craftsmanship matters most, these guys are a good option. Our original meeting with Andy to obtain an estimate was refreshing (inclusive, respectful and knowledge-sharing). His team, as promised, arrived when he said they would. They were exceedingly respectful of the fact that I work from home (and wore earbuds rather than blaring a boom box and shouting). They seemed very organized, worked well together, and cleaned as they went. They completed the project in less time than estimated ("because Mike was on the job..."). Their style and workmanship are clearly deserving of a 5* rating...and we would highly recommend Andy and his team at Cummings Hardwood Flooring and use them again. The only thing we would encourage folks embarking on this type of project to do is invest the time to learn as much as you can about wood, textures, styles, colors, etc. The end product on our floors was much lighter - both in color and in finish - than anticipated. The quality of their work is incredible. I didn't want to purchase new baseboards, so they removed them with care and reinstalled them without an extra scratch. I can tell they're not just "installers", because they made perfect cuts and fit everything with precision. They also leveled the (concrete) floor in the living room behind the garage prior to LVT installation and made sure everything fit smoothly and was level, including making it so there's no visible transition between rooms, just a smooth continuation of flooring. They moved and reinstalled toilets, caulked beautifully, kept my house clean and neat the whole time, and were quieter than I could have ever imagined as I work from home. I will hire them again when I tackle my second level flooring.

B&G were very flexible in scheduling both the measuring appointment and the installation appointment, which I especially appreciated with my busy schedule. There was one point in the fabrication process where Mel called me to inform me that my countertops were actually going to require the use of two slabs of stone, which was different from the original quote. She worked with me to make adjustments to the size of my kitchen island so that we were able to keep our materials and costs at just one slab - which made a huge difference! In the end, we think the island turned out even better with the slightly smaller dimensions. The countertops were installed flawlessly, and they even managed to keep our longest countertop to one piece with no seam! We have an older home with some definite challenges, and they navigated those challenges extremely well. We are beyond thrilled with our new countertops and would highly recommend Bath and Granite!
