As someone generally has an aversion to fish, I was shocked when I took a bite of the black cod and found it tasty! It virtually has 0 fishy smell or taste, and all the flavor seems to come from the sauce and mushrooms around it. The Wagyu was a big piece of meat that my family of 4 shared - I appreciated the big slab of butter that they left on top of the steak, mmm so good. We finished off our meal with the sticky toffee pudding which was sooo good! It was gone in seconds and if I had an unlimited budget, we definitely would've gotten more. Highly recommend coming to Hearthstone for a nice meal in Breck. Service and hospitality were very nice - a manager came around to check in on every table to ensure that everyone was having a good experience. There was no wait at all, which is pretty rare in Breckenridge, especially during ski season. We got seated right away and everything felt easy from the start. It was the kind of place where you can just kick back after a day on the mountain and grab some good food. Our waiter Trevor was an absolute chiller. Seriously one of the most laid-back and friendly servers I've had in a while. He came over right away, brought us waters, and just had a super good attitude the whole time. Instead of rushing through everything like some places do, he actually talked with us and made the whole experience feel way more personal. One thing we really appreciated was how cool he was about the menu. My son wanted to order off the kids menu and Trevor had no issue with it at all. He didn't make it weird or complicated, he just said no problem and took the order. Little things like that go a long way and made the whole meal way smoother. The food also came out really fast and everything we got was solid. Trevor kept checking in at the perfect times and made sure our waters stayed full without being annoying about it. He also talked with us about skiing and the conditions around Breckenridge, which was cool because we had just been out on the mountain. It felt like talking to someone who actually enjoys the town and the people coming through. The best part was honestly after we left. We accidentally forgot something at the table and didn't realize until we were already outside. When we came back, Trevor was literally waiting with it ready to give it back to us. That kind of thing doesn't happen everywhere. Overall the service was great, the food came out fast, and Trevor was an absolute chiller the entire time. I'd definitely come back here again.

How do you rush your customers. I get it's 8pm but you're open until 9:30 and if you're in a rush go home and send a server that wants to be there. Service, service, service.
