I love coming here when I'm in Copenhagen. Their food is beautiful and really good. I usually get the platter which consists of an avocado toast on rye bread, yogurt/or chai pudding, some smoked salmon and fresh fruit. All of this for around 130 kr. Baryl is not the biggest place and has limited seating so I would recommend to reserve a table in advance. The atmosphere is really cute they have a pink wall with plants (very instagramable) and then wooden tables. They pay when your order and then they will bring you your food. Coffee is also really good here. They also have alternatives to coffee like juices and superfood lattes.

Delicious and colourful veggie menu If nothing else, go for the wonderful colours, it is an experience in it self. Very healthy, tasteful and delicious dishes. I had the Baryl lunch with avocado, humus, egg, smoked salmon, sweet patato soup and cabbage salat.

The service is not the fastest, but the wait is so worth it. You order and pay first, and then they bring you your food. I came in the morning right when they opened. It took 25 minutes last time I came here, and there was only two other tables. But the food is wholesomely healthy, aesthetically pleasing, but most importantly very, very delicious. I always order the morgenbaryl and highly recommend it.

Bastard Cafe is a must visit if you are ever visiting Copenhagen. It's fun, loud, and colorful…read more This location has over 5,000 board games. It's astounding the amount of games in this place. They are everywhere! There is even a "Game Guru", seated somewhere in the center of the cafe. You can ask him/her any game-related questions. They can recommend the perfect game for you to play and they even instruct you on how to play. There is a QR code at each table you can use to order drinks/foods. They will bring it to the table. They serve coffee, beer, wine, cocktails. They also serve some light bites such as nachos and nuggets. 5 stars - Nice ambiance. Come play a game, have a drink, listen to music, and enjoy the artwork.

I am not a gamer, but I do appreciate sitting down and playing a good game every now and then…read more While I was in Europe visiting with a friend, she asked if I wanted to stop in to this little cafe and play some games. We went into the first entrance we saw, which led us into a small basement space with a counter to order drinks, and a little back room with more games. To me, it was a pretty typical gaming cafe - nothing remarkable. We played some card games for a bit, sipped our tea, and then we headed upstairs to leave... but THEN, we realized the actual MAIN section of the cafe was upstairs, and it was huge. There were several copies of each game neatly stacked, and went on forever. Every game you could think of seemed to be on the shelved. They had cute merchandise, too. We were both bummed we didn't realize it before, but I bookmarked this place so that I can return next time I am in Copenhagen. If you love gaming, this place is a must.
