I'm not really brand loyal but I do normally frequent newer C-Stores when it comes to pumping gas. Today 87 octane was $2.899 per gallon I pulled in to fuel the Subaru out of curiosity more than anything. I was surprised to find a number of the pumps displayed the famous yellow "out of order" bags over the pumps and the rest had customers either pumping fuel or inside the store so I had to circle the fuel islands several times to get a pump (not the best first experience). Well one finally freed up and I filled up, everything worked fine including the receipt dispenser and the place looked well maintained- I did visit the restroom and it was clean as they stated on their website so they seem to deliver on that promise so except for playing musical chairs at the gas pumps all appears to be okay...

The prices aren't great, but they're also not terrible, although also not well marked so I was sort of rolling the dice but it worked out okay. The selection is very basic, but if you need a convenience store item, this will serve well. The staff is friendly and I find it reassuring to have a place like this around, well lit and safe and open pretty late on the main street. It has sodas and candy and snacks and some alcoholic beverages if one wants to byo. It's catty-corner from the park. They take cards over $5, which seems fair. They're open about as late as you'd expect in most cities.

It was one of the largest restroom I have ever seen with lights above each bathroom door letting you know when it was available for the next person. They also have restroom attendants! Just beautiful and immaculate. This place gets a lot of traffic, especially on the weekends. They sell food, drinks, snacks, clothes, souvenirs, household items and more! Easy in and out here... I personally could not wait to get out! Too many people in one space... If you stop here with kids make sure you don't let them out of your sight. Easy to get lost here... just sayin ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

It was packed with people which is always the vibe but there is never a long wait. They quickly get everyone in and out with their items. I got their chopped brisket sandwich and a blueberry cheesecake ice cream bar. The sandwich was $8.99 and the ice cream was only a $1.48. Not only was my food affordable, it was amazing. My brisket sandwich was stacked with succulent brisket in BBQ sauce and my ice cream was so rich and flavorful. I loved it. This will always be my go to place to stop by when traveling!

1-STAR REVIEW -- WARNING TO OTHER CUSTOMERS…read more I had an extremely disturbing experience at Tom Thumb involving a refund request. I purchased three items and requested a refund. Instead of simply processing it, the cashier, Ms. Carmen, repeatedly resisted, delayed the refund, and ultimately called the police. I was not threatening, physically aggressive, cursing, or touching anyone. I was expressing my opinion that I believed I was being treated unfairly and questioned whether the treatment was racist. I was also dressed in clothing reflecting some might mistaken for being Muslim faith, including a head covering and long dress, which caused me additional concern about possible racial and religious discrimination. Other customers witnessed the incident. One customer became so frustrated with the delay that he left. Another customer can be heard on my recording stating that she did not see me yelling. I also witnessed two other customers leave after paying approximately $1 each for their drinks, while my legitimate refund request resulted in police involvement. The responding officer ultimately required the refund to be processed and had the supervisor contacted. I received my refund. I am a disabled woman, and this unnecessary escalation caused me significant emotional distress. I have video evidence and witnesses documenting what occurred. I am asking Tom Thumb to investigate this incident, review its surveillance footage, speak with the employees, supervisor and responding officer, and address what happened. Customers deserve dignity, equal treatment, and to feel safe when spending their money. The customer asked for the rest of his change and the clerk said he paid with a $10. With myself and gentleman having seen $20 handed over, we knew clerk was pocketing $10. The clerk counted down drawer, but clerk kept walking away to count each group of bills so no one could see the counting. He reached elsewhere at one point during counting/walking away. After pumping my gas, he wasn't able to print me a receipt for the $18.01 that I had pumped. But I had my original receipt for the $50 credit I paid him. He then showed me the screen on the register that didn't show my transaction. I had to leave to get to the airport. But I took a picture of the pump, the pump ID number, as well as the name and location of the store. I believe this is some sort of hustle by this guy. I reached out to their corporate offices who are now investigating my case.
