The prices for "convenience" are insane. Feminine products should not be allowed to be marked up to double+ normal prices. Do better.

4-star: quick, convenient, selection, little pricey 0-star: Watched gentleman pay with $20 dollar bill 6/10/2021, clerk put the $20 in drawer without setting it aside or sideways to indicate what was handed to him/separate from the rest of the twenties, gave change back for $10. The customer asked for the rest of his change and the clerk said he paid with a $10. With myself and gentleman having seen $20 handed over, we knew clerk was pocketing $10. The clerk counted down drawer, but clerk kept walking away to count each group of bills so no one could see the counting. He reached elsewhere at one point during counting/walking away. They have posted signs requiring a mask. They also have plexiglass at the cash register. The store employee was wearing a mask though it was around his chin and not his mouth and nose. He was friendly The store does not have many options but it does have most of the essentials. Milk, eggs, and bread. The interior and exterior of the store looks really run down and old. It could really use a refresh. A more modern layout and equipment would make this a place people wanted to go versus needing to go. They should look at QT or Racetrack for some inspiration on both design and efficiency. read more

This place was so good back in the day, but not anymore. I used to bring my kids there a couple times a week on the way to the beach and they loved it so much. It has gone to hell over the last couple of years. One cashier wanted to see my id to buy a hotdog. I am not kidding. My bill was under $3, and he wanted ID to use my own credit card. The next visit, the cashier projectile vomited on me and my food. The manager said he was drunk and started eating everything he could get and then could not help it. WTF, not even a refund. I was never going to go back there again and I should not have. Now, today, I only went there because I forgot to stop at the other convenience shop and was just going to run in and run out. I know they were closed for Months because they refused to use safety measures and every single one of their employees got Covid, and were seriously ill. I am sure they were happy to spread it to hundreds or thousands of vacationers. They learned NOTHING from covid before, and now they are still being careless even with the new variant. And the cashier screamed all of her trumphate at me for wearing a mask in there today. Not worth it. Go somewhere else. I think to get a job there you have to be a meth head. read more

This is a convenience store, not a Trader Joe's, so I don't know what people are expecting but for what it is, it's good. It's typically pretty well stocked, and yes stuff is more expensive, but you are paying for the convenience, and it saves time and the bridge toll. read more

There are bad employees, there are good employees and then there is Bridget! She was the most helpful person I have met in long time. She went out of her way to accommodate a few travelers in need. This girl needs a raise, more responsibility, a public announcement of appreciation and more. Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for Bridget. Super friendly staff and they had the meds I needed without having to drive 30 minutes inland. Very clean, well organized and well stocked.

A nice, clean & helpful convenience store. They unfortunately no longer sell gas, since a hurricane took out the pumps. FYI - gas options limited on island. read more

Yeah open for the last minute needs! a 7-11 style place that has Kroger brand food....open yesterday and had everything I needed, Only one time did they not have eggs on a Sunday morning when I needed to fix breakfast. I made due. People ae all very helpful. read more

A great stop for your forgotten items, last minute beach needs and forgotten food/beverage items. Saves you a trip and a toll for the bridge to run to the nearest grocery store. They seem to have a huge selection and we've always been able to find everything we've gone in there to for. The staff is friendly despite being super busy all the time. Pricey but you're paying for the convenience and it's well worth it. read more

This place is like Loaf 'n Jug in Colorado. One of only a couple food stores I found on Pensacola Beach (there's also a Circle K). They have a decent amount of regular food there, along with snacky stuff, and some necessities that are bound to get forgotten in luggage. And a large selection of beer and wine. The guy at the counter was very friendly too. Average place, but very handy if you don't want to leave Pensacola Beach. read more

I have been going to this Tom Thumb for almost 30 years. It has declined beyond belief. I have had an employee projectile vomit on me and my food at the register Because he was drunk, I had one hillbilly drunk cashier demand to see my id to buy a hot dog, I have purchased expired food, and today I purchased a drink that smelled like it had been rolled in human waste. I didn't know until I put my mouth on it! Every time they had an excuse. They're is no excuse!! After all these years and taking all my kids there, I'm done! How disgusting can it get!!! read more

tom thumb is the best for last min stops and gas better than any other gas station for food and price.
