LOVE this place! I like to make Pho and Spring Rolls and they have everything I need. I can get the rice papers, pho spices, rice noodles, all of it....OK, not the veggies and meat, but you know what I mean. They even have some Pho spoons, chop sticks, etc. They do have some produce type things. Last time I was in there, they had some Persimmon. They were more expensive than I was used to paying for them in SD, but good to know they have them. Seriously, even if you just need Soy Sauce, or Sesame Seed Oil, you should check this place out. Not only will they have it, they will have 6 different brands and you will get 3 times the amount for half the price you will pay in the regular grocery store. Oh, and Sriracha (or Cock Sauce as we call it in our house)....HUGE bottles of it and the chili paste by the same company. YUM! If you like Asian candies, you can get those here too. My kids love White Rabbits, and are very happy to be able to get them here! read more

This is my favorite place to pick up lunch in Crestview. They not only have all the Asian grocery items you could want (or will get them for you if they don't), but they make Korean boxed lunches that are as delicious as they are inexpensive. While you're there, check out the freezer case right up front for a treat! I can't leave without a box of melon popsicles. read more

I signed up to bring pancit to work for our turkey day potluck. I did not know what kind of noodles or how much I would need for at least 15 people. I met the owners told them what I needed and they were incredible! They answered all my questions on ingredients and cooking techniques. The ingredients I bought were priced fairly. I love when I'm the tallest filipino girl in the room. Ok jokes aside. This was a cool little find in Crestview! It's around the corner from a sushi/korean asian place off of the overpass. Pretty descent find. They had most of the asian ingredients you'd need plus some frozen items like longanisa and tocino. Of course there's the asian snacks and crackers like pocky and yan yan. Then there's the miso soup mixes, arroscaldo mix and for my fellow gluten free peeps there's MOCHI ice cream. The problem with me shopping in these places is that I KNOW how delicious their goodies are from my childhood but now as a grown up I can't eat them. So I'll vote on going here just for the mochi ice cream. They have mano, vanilla, and coffee (i think) and they have halo halo ice cream!!! mmmmmm my sweet tooth just jiggled for joy. Try it out, there's a few other shops nearby that might be worth a look see. Hope you find some filipino goodness like I did! read more

This is a cute little store. I go there whenever I have some spare change or some money. They have practically every flavor of pocky there along with baskets of it. The food section is large and they have all sorts of fruit that I've never seen before including these tiny mini banana like fruit. The drinks are pretty cool and they have lovely tea sets as well. The freezer section is very cool for some unique ice cream and frozen treats. The owners are very nice people always welcoming you in with smiles and saying thank you before you leave. And the customers there are also friendly as well. My mom has no concern of me going there alone, it's a very friendly but small little store. read more

I drove 40 miles in order to find a market that would have some of the Korean food items that I was looking for. I was fortunate to make it before the market closed at 7:00pm on Saturday. The people there were very nice. The selection was good and I was able to find some of the things that I was looking for. I really looked forward to the food that I read about, unfortunately a few things were off on the items that I ordered. The order of mondu that I purchased was burnt, and I was not crazy about the Kim chi the taste was very weak and lacked that typical kick that is associated with it. The bulgogi portion size was small but it did taste good, its the first time that I had broccoli in my bulgogi (it was good though). The sticky rice rocked, altogether the experience wasn't necessarily bad, but I will not make that trip again I will wait to enjoy Korean until I go home with my family. One of the best things besides the rice was the price of $6.99 for each order of bulgogi that I purchased. read more
