I asked why the reply was we got drinks in a to go (plastic cup) cup. I stated it was our only refill then said okay and left. The service was slow. Was there over 90 minutes. Had to ask 3 times for a container to take my left overs home, no drink refills were offered so we got ours to go (was charged for refills). Restaurant had 3 tables in use so was not busy. Food was far overpriced for the serving size compared to similar restaurants. Two of us cost $89 including tip (18%) which was very generous for what happened. 3 appetizer one for later and one lunch dish and dinner dish with two drinks no refills and two drinks to go. I want to go back, but not sure now since charges need to be slipped for some reason.

I understand how important small businesses are to our community and generally try to support them whenever possible. Unfortunately, my experience at this establishment was very disappointing. During my visit, I spent approximately $45 and was made to feel as though I was being treated with suspicion, despite giving no reason for concern. The way I was looked at and spoken to left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. In addition, I was troubled by the way the owner appeared to interact with both customers and employees. Professionalism, respect, and good customer service are essential in any business, and unfortunately, that was not the experience I had. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so that future customers and employees are treated with the courtesy and respect they deserve.
