I asked to owner to get a few Coke products that I like and he began to stock them for me. I drive from Atlanta to the panhandle every three to four weeks. The owner remembered me and said I have your products. Since that time I only get my gas and drinks from this Race Way. Great job!

Today I under estimated by a lot I pre-paid $200 and ended up with only 3/4 of a tank definitely a rookie mistake and with a number of truckers waiting across this multiple lane island I definitely wasn't going to start over and hold up the line so I moved up to the staging line and went inside to grab my receipt. The staff here was very friendly at the fuel counter and it's seems they put up with private owners while they cater to the over the road guys and in all fairness I understand why since they pump between $800 - $1,500 per stop. Most truckers know the drill and if an RV owner knows the protocol you usually get a hat tip which validates you belong to to the "diesel club" and respect the fact that these freight haulers are working and time is money. This location was pretty clean and the staff was out and about filling squeegee buckets with soapy water, wiping down the equipment and emptying trash dispensers, it definitely takes a team to keep this business moving efficiently. Looks like I'll be visiting another Love's in the near future being my sweetheart gets about 9 miles to the gallon on a good day if I don't push the pedal too hard...

This Love's Travel Plaz has the usual convenience store items inside and it also has an Arby's attached to it. If you want something a bit more than convenience store hot dogs, potato chips, or Arby's fast-food, there is a diner and an Italian restaurant not far from this Love's Travel Plaza. If you have the app on your phone, it gives you an additional ten cents off a gallon on gas. It really is a decent enough deal. I have to say that I am a fan of Love's Travel Plazas. They are usually better priced than the other gas stations and the service is friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this particular location of Love's Travel Plaza and I would definitely recommend here.

This Flying J sits on Ross Clark Circle at the big intersection of where 231 and 431 meet. On our…read moretrips to the panhandle, Flying J serves as a landmark for us on our journey and signifies we are only about 90 minutes from that pearly white sand of PCB! Over the years it has become a stop for us to stretch our legs for the last stretch of the road or for us to fuel up before we hit 431 for the next few hours. In addition to standard pumps, they also feature tractor trailer pumps as well. And in addition to the pumps and all the normal stuff you find in gas stations, you will also find a Denny's here. We are usually passing through, so we have never eaten at the Denny's. Service is always decent here. Nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible. However, the condition and cleanliness of this location leaves something to be desired. I know it is a busy store given its location, but it needs some work. And even if a refresh isn't coming soon...they can at least have someone on staff to ensure the cleanliness is at least monitored and managed. Overall, in the last few years a few newer and better kept gas stations have popped up in the area and we have started shifting our travel habits to swing in those. However in a pinch or if we are interested in breakfast with a fill up, we would swing by Flying J.
