Thanks for your reply to my review. If your renowned arborist had recommended a more comprehensive lantern fly program I certainly would have wanted it but this was never offered as a choice. I have been dealing with these for 3 years now. I'm not the specialist you are. This was not the only issue. I had to deal with burnt foliage from incorrectly applied fertilization spray as well as dead encore azaleas from the same; infested lace bug azaleas shortly after dormant oil treatment that should have protected them; not to mention bushes diagnosed with aphids that were actually being eaten by Japanese Beatles- I followed and paid for all of the treatment plans which failed and Mitch never responded with any options to the emails and photos I sent to him. My new company is more than happy to respond to my concerns with treatment so yes it is good I found someone that is a better fit for me. read more

We just had such an amazing experience with this company. We had something important stuck in a tree- we saw Bartlett's truck waiting at the corner of our house and asked if they could help us. A few minutes later Joe came and brought a tow line to save the day. He tried a few times until he was able to get it. We were so impressed with his care, concern, expertise and perseverance. I have been trying to remove a 150 year old oak tree from my backyard with no driveway access. I wanted to try and save it. Tom from Bartlett had been working with me for a few options because removal was difficult and very expensive, especially from other companies. He came up with a plan to trim it and treat it. Had begun using them for our heavily treed property. Major storm took down several of our neighbors trees onto our property, including a large tree across our pool. Called Bartlett and gentleman came several hours later to assess and provide estimate. Promised a proposal that day and then the next day. Proposal arrives via email 2 days later--respond immediately as to time frame, prepared to pay a quite hefty amount to get this work done. Receive a call the next day stating job requires crane and they could not get a crane to our property for three weeks. Visited their office and saw listing on their assignment board for 4 crews with cranes. Felt like they gave us the expensive proposal on a delayed basis without a time frame to hold the work for their benefit as they knew finding another tree contractor several days after the storm would be difficult. Called Arbor Valley Tree Service (they are great!!) who came out the following week and did the job without a crane for a quarter of the price. Bartlett folks are very knowledgeable but very expensive and really left us in the lurch here. read more

After a strong storm quite a few large limbs came down from two sycamore trees in my side yard. Jason was kind enough to come out and assure me the trees were not in danger of falling and would have someone come out to take a better look. David arrived very quickly and gave me a number of things we could do. He also presented options to help with the longevity of the trees. All in all they were very professional.
