He scheduled the job for the weekend, showed up on time, and just worked solidly until the job was done. Pretty much a flawless transaction. We'll use him again for sure.

Because the property owner doesn't live at the affected house, they traveled from another part of the city and rearranged their schedule specifically to meet the estimator. We also learned that the neighboring property we initially believed the tree had fallen from is vacant, making it even more important to determine responsibility and move the process forward. Unfortunately, no one arrived for the scheduled appointment, and there was no phone call, text, or Yelp message to let us know they were running late or needed to reschedule. We understand that delays and emergencies happen, but a simple courtesy message would have been appreciated. The lack of communication wasted people's time and delayed addressing a situation affecting multiple properties. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend a company that confirms an appointment and then fails to show up or communicate with the customer.

We had a very, very large tree in our yard, which was too close to the house. The tree was 30-40…read morefeet tall, with half a dozen very large extensions growing out of two massive trunks. In addition, its massive roots were exposed, taking up a significant portion of the lawn. I received three estimates from highly rated tree service companies and decided to select Willow Tree. I selected Willow Tree because of the quick response, professional opinion and thorough explanation of the removal process, and the price - they came in with the lowest estimate. They came out on the scheduled date, and we watched in amazement as they methodically took down this incredibly large tree! It was such a professional job - they had their own crane, wood chipper, numerous trucks and equipment. It was impressive to say the least. They removed the tree in one day - then returned and removed the massive stump and root structure. The result - a beautiful, smooth looking area that you would never know a tree had been there! Our experience with Eagles Tree Service almost didn't happen…read more We needed to remove a really large dying oak tree at the top of the hill in our backyard, and knew it would be a big and potentially complicated job. We initially scheduled with another company to do the work. I never like to badmouth anyone by name, but what happened with them is part of this review, and so needs to be said. Suffice it to say it's a big company. A really big company. A Monstrously big company. Let's call them 'Scary Creature' Tree Service. They sent out an estimator who said the job could be done, though noted some of the large dying limbs may pose a challenge. He gave us a quote, and we agreed to it. They finally scheduled us a month out. The day of the service they showed with a decent-sized crew and lots of equipment. Sounds pretty good so far, right? We thought so, too. The crew came into the yard, walked up the hill, looked at the tree, looked at their gear, looked at their bucket truck, looked at the tree, looked at each other, looked at everything again, looked at us, and said it couldn't be done with their equipment. The hill was too steep for the bucket truck, and the tree couldn't be climbed for several reasons. And then they simply left. They told us someone would get right back to us about a reschedule and a new quote if necessary. No one contacted us that day. Or the next. Or the next. Or the next week. Or the next. They finally got back to us and said that the tree couldn't be climbed, so they would need to use an aerial crane, and it would cost roughly 40% more than the initial quote. At this point we were thoroughly annoyed, and contacted a couple other companies, one of which was Eagles. We liked that they are a local family company and the father showed up, looked at the tree, said they could do it, and their quote was substantially lower than the other company's initial quote. The day of the service they showed up on time. They had the same-sized crew and less equipment. And they weren't remotely frightened by the tree. All of the complications noted by the other company, requiring more and more equipment and money, they didn't even blink at. They noted the same issues, but figured out how to deal with them, and then dealt with them. They were all exceptionally friendly and exuded confidence and competence. The son would say things like, "This limb is going to be a fun challenge. It wants to fall over there, in your neighbors' yard. So we're going to tie it off in this way, and it's going to fall here." And as he called it, so it happened. The whole day and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. They cut up some of the tree for firewood, and even stacked it for us. They went back and cleaned up the yard and filled in the really big divots gouged by the tree and various limbs as they fell. There were just so many little moments and details that they got right. So if you're reading this book-length review and wondering whether we liked them, and whether we strongly recommend them, and whether you should consider working with them, the answer is absolutely yes.

I rarely do reviews, though they were very respectful and conscientious to avoid turf damage in addition to doing an overall excellent job, so I'm compelled to give them a great review. The job was done quick with the right equipment, insurance and price. It would be nice if all contractors were as respectful as Jesse and the crew toward customers and their property. I was very concerned about how much landscaping work I'd need to do after having all the trees removed (large trucks through yard, trees falling, etc.). They removed eight trees, (including a gigantic Elm) over two acres with zero turf damage. These guys get to it and get it done right. Awesome job!
