Shelves are bare. Lots of sales but not a single item rang at the price it was marked. Had to go back and have them adjust it because almost everything I bought was on sale. The pharmacy is an absolute joke and a full blown disaster. It a matter of wasting your time and money with these clowns. Completely incompetent staff. I had hoped for a better experience but sadly I have zero confidence in anyone who works there. Waiting for days on end, getting one pathetic excuse after another. My doctor called in a prescription to Bartell's in Stanwood (WA) on Thursday. I went to pick it up the next day - Friday. They told me that they didn't have the drug in stock and to return on Monday after 3:00PM. Are you kidding me?! I think this level of service for a pharmacy is very poor. I believe they intentionally don't keep some items in stock to save money. But in doing so, they create a terrible inconvenience for the customer. I'll be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

So incredibly slow in the Pharmacy. Been waiting 45 minutes for a prescription. Be nice if they had more help.

I just want to say thank you to all the pharmacy workers. I appreciate their service and their efforts in filling our prescriptions as well as answering questions. They take the time to confirm the prescriptions one is picking up and always ask whether or not we want a consult with the pharmacist. Confirming is important to both parties as one wants to make certain that they have the correct prescription as well as dosage. So, thank you very much! OK, so I went in to get milk and I ended up also (trying to get some Spitzer) Well there is something wrong with the bar code on my license and it wasn't scanning. Then come to find out that the Spitzer not my license per say... I still hope. We even had some one else scanned there license to see if it would work. The license was fine! It was the Spitzer.! And with only 2 ppl working and about 8 people in line and one woman over in the picture developing area, that woman started getting upset that she wasn't being helped. All the while the one cashier is helping everyone in line and one other cashier a younger female. She can't sell alcohol, and every one was buying, I had to give up with the Spitzer because of the bar code was not scanning on the box even some on Else's ID the Spitzer still did not scanned. Some people we'r asking if there is a way to just put in the bar coad, and he said no that he couldn't do anything at that point it had been a good 20min. So I gave up and left. I just don't understand why it was left to the one guy in the store with no back up help or resources to help with the bar coad on the Spitzer I would like talk to the manager to find out if there would have been anything that could help This is the first time coming to this store, there need to be more help for these kinds of situations. read more

The Barthels drugs pharmacy must rate in the top 10 worst pharmacies in the country. With a line a mile long one person at the cashier handling everyone in line and the drive-through. Explain that one to me. The manager was called for help at the cashier, this manager looked like he was still in high school and did not have a drivers license, all he did was answer a question and walk away. It sure would've been nice for him to chip in and help the people behind the counter. Zero customer service. If I could give a negative rating, I would. Recently transferred my Rxs to Bartells and I'm loving how friendly the pharmacists are, and how fast they fill them. I also really like the selection of local products they carry, and the cashiers are always so nice and personable. read more

Probably our least favorite pharmacy other than the Rite Aid up the road (which is slow, but at least open). They constantly have strange hours. Sometimes closed on weekends sometimes open. And without fail I will get there when they are taking their lunch break and shut things down. If you're only going to be open crappy hours, the pharmacist can eat on the job. I have been going to this store since they opened. I have gotten all my pictures done here. Today was the 3rd time my order was not right. I told the cashier. She went and told another cashier whle talking about me and the transaction. I overheard them. I told the cashier I didn't appreciate the service and I won't be back. She told me to take my services elsewhere. Very dissappointed in the new employees. Rude and not friendly at all. I wont be back. Friendly staff and great selection of stuff in this drug store. They've done a great job of staying helpful and reliable as the national chains have moved in. The pharmacy department is very courteous and knowledgeable with an expedient pace. Great hours of service too. read more

This is the slowest Pharmacy I have ever been to. EVERYTIME it is at least a 15 minute wait at the drive through even if you are the only car. The women that works the window usually is slow, rude and not at all helpful. I dread coming here at this point. read more

We needed a prescription for Omaprazole in syrup filled for a baby while we were on vacation on Camano. We arrived at 9:55 and the very friendly store clerk told us that the pharmacy opened at 10:00. I picked up a few other things and walked over when the pharmacist started rolling up the gate. She stared me right in the eyes, but as a smiled and stepped forward she walked away from me and did other things while I confusedly my said hello? After she did work in the back and took a phone call from "Nancy" she acknowledged me without a word and looked at our prescription. She told us we would have to go to a compounding pharmacy to fill it. My husband told her it was not compounded but a mix, and then she just walked away. Very weird and anti social. Save your time and money - go across the street to Haggar's. They ordered the mix and we will have it by tomorrow afternoon. read more

The staff at the Bartell Drugs pharmacy in Stanwood are wonderful, very friendly, and helpful. Last month I was picking up a prescription for a family member when the Pharmacist realized the medication would cause a severe reaction to a current medication my family member was currently taking. Our prescriptions are always ready unless they are out of stock and we have to use the "easy open" caps on our prescriptions and they are always on there. In the past at a previous pharmacy that we used for many years would just throw those "easy open" caps in the bag and call it good or forget to even provide them. read more

I purchased 160 of your 7x5 greeting cards online for pick-up in your Stanwood store. I had never been in a Bartell Drugs before, but the store is close to work and they promised same day service. I picked the cards up on Friday afternoon and when I got them home, I discovered that they were not 7x5 and would not fit in the envelopes provided (which I had to ask for as they weren't initially included in my package). I took them back to the store this morning (Monday) to ask about having this problem fixed and was informed that this was how they were printed and that I needed to cut the edges off to make them 7x5! (Did I mention that I purchased 160 of them?) I spent over $100 to have 7x5 cards produced for Christmas and I'm shocked and disappointed that I did not receive what I purchased. I reviewed the order process and verified that nowhere during this process was I informed that I would be receiving something other than a completed card measuring 7x5. Nowhere does it inform the customer that they must become part of the production process by trimming the product they paid for to the final (and correct) dimensions. I had never purchased anything from Bartell Drug in the past and will never purchase anything from Bartell Drug in the future. I will also be sure to make the public aware that, should they foolishly decide to use Bartell Drugs, purchasing photos or greeting cards will involve not only paying for a product, but being part of it's production process. read more
