His caring and attentiveness was obvious from the very start. With an aggressive schedule of therapy (which he thoroughly explained) and use of custom orthotics (which he masterfully crafted) I am virtually pain-free today. I only wish I had found him before suffering for seven years with excruciating foot pain and unbelievable expense trying every suggestion in the books. I called back after 9 minutes on hold to cancel due to the flu and was again very abruptly and rudely treated- When I said "no" to being put on hold, I was sharply told, "Well, I'm the only one here." I said I needed to cancel due to the flu...the reply was "You're canceled" and she hung up while I was ready to give her my name. He is always smiling and happy, very professional, a good listener and you can tell he really wants to help you and takes a genuine interest in you and your journey to heal. My daughter and I both feel confident that he will get us to where we want to be. We trust him completely. My elderly mom (age 85 with early Alzheimer's) rolled her ankle a few weeks ago. I took her to the…read moreemergency care and she was given a boot to wear. Well, it pumps up with air and then you release the air with a button to take it off. It was too confusing for her to use it so she just stopped! I took her in for a follow up appointment and told Dr. Peterson that this boot was too difficult for her to use. He said he would give her an ankle brace so she could still wear her shoe. Dr Peterson did a thorough exam and we felt like he listened to our concerns. We then we're handed off to an assistant who fitted an ankle brace on mom. It had shoelace ties that you didn't have to tie (thank goodness) and multiple Velcro straps that wrap around under your arch snd back to the ankle area. Ok, we'll give this one a try. By the next day it was clear that this ankle brace was too difficult for mom to put on herself as well. I ended up going to a medical supply pharmacy and buying one off the shelf that is a little easier for mom to manage. At least she will wear the over the counter model, which is better than not wearing one at all. We have a follow up appointment in a couple of weeks so hopefully the ligaments around her ankle have had time to heal. Overall we had a good experience at Suburban Orthopedics.

The practice has a 15 minute grace period yet I still called to tell them I was 5-10 minutes behind. They said that was fine. Then as I was already on my way, they called me to tell me to reschedule. I had broken my toe since my last appointment and my visit was probably going to take longer than expected. Would I have been thrown out if I had taken the extra time? It's hard to imagine that quality care can be given if they are counting the minutes that way. I understand the need to be on time. However as a long time patient, I would think that some grace can be given. Also, why have a policy at all if the practice doesn't abide by it ?! Extremely angry and annoyed.

I had two total knee replacements performed by Dr. Kuesis, two years apart. I had an excellent…read moreoutcome for both surgeries. I had minimal pain post op for both surgeries. I was pretty much back to my normal routine after only 8 weeks post op with physical therapy. Today I am able to walk without pain and ride my bike long distance. My only complaint is that CORE sent me collagen dressings that, according to thier PA, I did not need, I did not order, and I did not know I would be receiving. The box of bandages just showed up on my doorstep. I cannot return them and my insurance did not pay the full cost of them so now I have to pay ~$400 for them. Otherwise a great experience both times with CORE. Thank you Dr. Kuesis.
