Pork belly taco and steak taco
Rae Lynne K.

I love coming to bartaco! There's a huge parking lot that is ALWAYS FULL. Get on the wait list via the app before you come because it's always busy! This lessens the wait. We love to sit outside. So cozy and great vibes but it can get loud. We always order through the QR code so you can pay for your food right then and there and you don't have to wait for someone to come take your order. Their guacamole is amazing. The tortillas amazing. I love all of their tacos, especially the pork belly and the ahi tuna, and I can't wait for the lobster to be back, because the lobster taco is awesome! I also had coconut ice cream in a cone and it was the best. I've tried their churros and their key lime pie, as well as the cucumbers and plantains. All super awesome!

Bartaco in Port Chester, NY. It's#bartacoMargaritaMarch at Bartaco and there's no better place to have marg than at Bartaco! Truly one of my favorite places ever, Bartaco has vacation vibes all year round. The margaritas this month are all built around Libélula tequila--their custom blend that's smooth, balanced, and made for sipping. The tacos, guac and bowls always hit the spot and I can't wait to go back! Dos piñas margarita: Libélula Joven Tequila + Dos Hombres Mezcal + Pineapple + Lime. Watermelon mint margarita: Libélula Joven Tequila + Watermelon Combier + Mint + Lemon. Guacamole and Chips: hand-mashed avocado, lime juice, serrano chiles, onions, and cilantro. Kale Chips: ancho chile seasoned and roasted kale chips w/ vietnamese inspired dipping sauce Esquites: sweet corn kernels tossed with cotija cheese in a creamy and tangy mayo sauce and topped with cayenne Sesame ribeye taco: shaved ribeye beef marinated in a sweet sesame-soy sauce, topped with spicy kimchi and cilantro Chile-lime shrimp taco: spicy and tangy chile-lime marinated shrimp resting on a crisp and bright jicama escabeche and finished with a zesty pepita salsa macha. Crispy oyster taco: shucked and fried oyster served over a remoulade sauce. Pork belly + crispy rice bowl: braised pork belly caramelized in sweet arbol chile glaze + sesame bean sprout salad + pickled red onions + crispy rice. chicken verde rice bowl: chile + herb marinated chicken + roasted corn + tortilla chips.

Great tacos and the soup was delicious! Great place to dine near the waterfront Service was quick and courteous. Had a great meal/dining experience

The atmosphere is great! Service was nice, and the tres leches dessert is good too. But the cons are the tacos were a hit or miss...Hudson Taco in Newburgh does a way better job with their food than this place, so I wouldn't return for the food again. Maybe for the bar atmosphere.

Great service, awesome ambiance and vibe, I loved the tacos they were very filling, good food!

The ambiance of the place is very chill beach vibes. The decor is like this as well. The service was good especially from the manager who kept checking in on us to make sure we were doing ok. The food is definitely the star. I had the cauliflower, mushroom, and chicken taco which were all filled with a bunch of flavor making me want a second round of each taco. The kale salad was delicious. The tres leche was also very good, not overly sweetened but just the right amount of everything in a cup. Definitely better second experience than my first.

Great spot with lively atmosphere. They have a big indoor and outdoor covered area for seating. There is a big parking lot right next to it with free parking. Lots of staff, the place is constantly busy. Ive only come during weekends for lunch, but it's consistently packed. You can order a bunch of individual tacos and other items. I like the fish taco and the guac. They have some rotating specials depending on the season.

Food: Good -- nothing mind-blowing, but it hit the spot. Service: Super friendly and on point. Ambiance: Cute little spot right on the water -- can't beat the view. Value: Cheap and solid for what you get. Overall Rating: (4/5) Notes: Good food, great drinks, cute location. Not life-changing, but I'd come back without hesitation.

Parking was available outside and when I walked in there were no customers inside. The space was dimly lit but seemed clean. I was eventually greeted by a woman, though there was a bit of a language barrier. I was able to communicate through another staff member, so it worked out. I ordered the large bistec burrito, which came out to about $13 with tax. That is pretty standard pricing right now. One thing I did notice right away was that they no longer had the meat spindle like they used to, which was a little disappointing. The food came out quickly, within about five minutes, and the portion size was solid for the price. Unfortunately, the flavor did not match expectations. It was just okay. The meat was not very well seasoned and had some fatty pieces that took away from the overall experience. The sauces were good, but nothing that stood out. Maybe it was an off day or maybe I should have tried something different like the tacos or cecina. Hard to say, but based on this visit, it did not live up to what I remembered and I am not sure I would recommend it right now.

There was nice attention to detail in the making of the burrito, and it had a variety of upgraded items included like Oaxaca cheese and avocado, as well as fresh vegetables. For around $13 it is a filling and delicious meal. The restaurant feels authentically Mexican as well and the staff seemed happy to be there and serve good food.

Don't do it!!!!!!! We had an hour to eat before a show at…read morethe Capital Theater and we decided to eat here because it's right next door. We waited for 15 minutes for our drinks, and my margarita was bad.. like, I don't even know how you mess up a margarita, but it tasted like the juice was not fresh. My husband ordered a seafood dish and I ordered nachos with shredded beef and a side of guacamole. Another 35 minutes goes by and we still have no food.. and we're seeing patrons that came in after us finishing their meals and paying their bills. The waitress finally comes over and I tell her that at this point, we have to cancel our food and leave because the show is about to start, and she says, "You didn't get your food?", and I say "No, we didn't!".. so she says "two minutes", and I said, "We have to go, just forget it", and she says, "ok, I get it to-go", and I'm like, "We cannot take it to-go, PLEASE get check for our drinks!". She walks away and comes back with a container of tortillas ?? and this plate of "nachos".. it was like 12 chips, burnt, with cheese, no beef, no guacamole.. so I explain that this is not what I ordered and again.. to *please* get us our bill for drinks so that we can leave! She starts arguing and saying that there IS beef on them.. lol!!! (Look at the photo!!!). A couple at the next table said "Is she serious?? This is madness! I'm so sorry for you guys, you should just leave!". Just then, a really nice waiter saw that there was some kind of issue and he came over to talk to us. I explained what was going on, and he ran to the kitchen with the plate of nachos and had them put some beef on it, and brought it back with a side of guacamole.. he apologized and gave us our bill (with the $20 nachos and guacamole still on it, which was ridiculous IMO.. look at the photo). We shoveled a few nachos into our mouths, paid our bill (and tipped 20%+, which I'm still not sure why we did) and ran out of there. Do not waste your time or your money!!!! $57.26 plus tip for crappy service, no food, 2 drinks, and 2 cans of soda. Unreal.
