Let me just say that this restaurant ideas by far the cutest and most adorable ever. from the merino menus, to the lighting, the love music, the wait staff, everything was awesom Jade, our server, was the cutest and the manager Julie is my sister from another mister. The food, though a bit spicy for me (im a punk) was savory and bursting with flavor! No complaints! read more

So good- the pork belly tacos were my fav! Service at the bar was okay but totally understand they were busy

We came to get dinner at Bartaco right after Inman fest so it was a crazy house. But we only ended up having to wait for 45 minutes which was not bad considering how many people were there. We ordered the guacamole, a bunch of tacos and the kids broccoli. I like the food here but the taco portions are pretty small so it makes it kind of pricey. I had 3 tacos (tuna, duck and grilled fish) and I probably could have eaten at least one more. At $3.50 a taco, that adds up quickly. I don't know if I'd pick this place over other places I've been to in Atlanta. Especially being from California, we have great tacos there and they're not as expensive for the size which is saying something especially because I live in expensive LA. read more

I love this location. So pretty with the fireplace and lighting and perfect for covid dining outdoors. The food is amazing and 10/10 will return read more

A friend of mine suggested that we check out this place for a late lunch and a small group catch up. This is located in a very cute part of Atlanta and one of my favorite locations. I ordered the watermelon margarita and chips w/ guac to start. The guacamole was amazing and the drink recommendation was perfect. I ended up getting two baha fish tacos and one shrimp taco. The shrimp taco was just ok and had a slightly bland taste to it, but the fish tacos were absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it. The servers here are sooo friendly and made sure we were enjoying are time there. I would definitely check out this spot if your ever in the area. read more

If your looking for whitewashed mid Mexican food this the spot with decent service and a long wait time for ur food

I've always enjoyed Bartaco but after my last experience i will never give them my business again. June 14th, 2020 there was co-vid restrictions (understandably) that limited the dine in to the outside patio. It began to thunderstorm with rain, thunder, and lightening. Rain was steadily coming through the roof and lightening that was making everyone scared and nervous. There was 6 of us left on the patio trapped. We asked one of the servers if we could simply stand inside. He came back and said that his manager said no. The fact that the manager of BarTaco does not value the safety of their customers is a breaking point for me. No sympathy, no accommodations, nothing. The manager had no problem watching us huddle together in the rain and lightening. This is simply unacceptable to me. Awful establishment read more

Great beach/chill vibe. Had the chips and guac which was fresh and tasty. Enjoyed the flavors of the duck taco. Liked the spiciness of the sesame ribeye taco but it was a bit saltier. The tacos are tiny! read more

bartaco - Cool scene and vibe - Mexican Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

We stopped for dinner on a Friday night. The place was very busy. We were told there will be a 20mins wait. We didn't get seated till 40mins later and asking them about it. The service will be a 3 stars and the food a 4 stars = 3.5 stars overall for me The server kept forgetting to bring me my beer order after I asked, It took couple of tries to get a beer. The tacos were well priced and they were good. read more

Bartaco is located right in the inman park area where there are lots of restaurants, etc. The decorations and atmosphere of this place is very casual and welcoming. Our waitress was friendly and explained to us how to order and flag down a server using the ordering card they have at each table. The ordering card has super small print and not really that user-friendly because it's hard to read with so many columns and text. We ended up ordering some tacos each and chips, salsa, and guacamole to share. The waitress brought all of our taco out in one big tray, but it wasn't helpful because it wasn't in any sort of order or organization. We ended up having to find our orders on this huge plate (trying to figure which taco belongs to which person). We ended up having an extra order of duck that we didn't get and were missing orders of things we actually ordered. With all the order mix-up aside, the food was not bad. I liked the pork belly taco the best. The fried oyster was also decent, but the duck was just alright. I also enjoyed the grilled corn but it is definitely more heavy with the cheese. I would say the tacos are fairly priced but I wasn't a big fan of the ordering system with the card. It was supposed to be used to flag down our waitress, but we ended up trying to flag her down ourselves because we didn't always see her when we needed her. read more

bartaco - A lot of options! - Mexican Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon for some taco cravings. Upon arriving, we were greeted and had the option of sitting inside or outside. Keep in mind if you sit outside, there maybe a random whiff of sewage smell which seems to be a big problem around that area. Yuck. When you order, there are pencils in the table and a sheet of paper to write what orders you want. The menus were small paper menus which was interesting. The decor had a cute theme. Other than that, the tacos were good and a bit small for me. I ordered a chicken, pork, and fish taco along with a side of salad. The best taco was the fish taco! Nice and crunchy. I'll order that if I ever stop by again. Our server was okay. read more

bartaco - Tacos and salad for lunch - Mexican Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Bartaco is arguably my most frequently visited restaurant in Atlanta. This location in particular is my favorite. I always order Baja fish tacos (three), tuna poke, corn, and slaw. The margaritas are a must as they are freshly squeezed! read more

I would give 3.5 stars if I could. The food tasted fine. Today I got the Baja fish taco. It was delicious but small. I've gotten the pork belly taco in the past and that one is good as well. I also got duck birria. It was ok. I was really excited for it but it didn't meet my expectations. I was disappointed that it didn't have much flavor other than salt. It was super salty! But I did like the crispiness of it. I also thought the guac was ok. It was a bit too salty and limey for my taste but other enjoyed it a lot. The cucumbers were good. It's pretty vinegary so if you don't like vinegar avoid it. I enjoyed them though. The plantains were really good. I'd recommend those. Overall, this place felt overpriced. The tacos are small so you want to order multiple. I left feeling hungry but didn't want to pay over $20 for lunch... They also don't validate for parking so that was annoying... 4 stars because most of the food is tasty but the price and parking is annoying... read more

There's nothing more painful than waiting 15 minutes for someone to wait on you while you watch trays of tacos being carried past your table. Dios mio. Once the waitress made her way over, the service was good and the food was prepared expediently. I found the menu a little boring. The tacos are not distinguishable from the tacos of any other yuppie taco joint. I will say that I appreciate the no-tortilla/lettuce wrap options for all us keto/paleo/carb-phobic/on-a-perpetual-crash-diet people. You can count on Bartaco to have a decent selection of wine. Also, they feature specialty cocktails, with or without alcohol (though, why anyone would order a cocktail without alcohol is beyond me). read more

This was my first time at Bartaco Inman Park and I must say that the quality of their drinks, food, and service are consistent across this chain of restaurants. I had already eaten so I came strictly for the drinks. It was a beautiful Sunday so they had the garage door open where there was a nice island breeze, minus the island, circulating the restaurant It was a great introduction to the highlight of the day, which was the bartender and drinks. Our bartender was super friendly and passionate about her drinks. I ordered the Red Sonja and boy was it refreshing. Lately my taste buds have been craving drinks with jalapeno or ginger so imagine my excitement when I found out this drink had both. It is a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and delicious. After a while I got a little hungry so I ordered the corn on the cob. I love that it is a small portion of the Mexican grilled corn...not too heavy and hits the spot! I will definitely be back, if for nothing else, the DRINKS and atmosphere!!! read more

Stopped by here for a quick bite - tacos, of course! Got them to-go and they were super fast! And the food did not suffer - the tacos were delicious and flavorful. Wanted to go back for more! The vibes are cool at this location, too. Next time, we hope to dine in. read more

The service here is incredible! My food came out so fast and the staff was so attentive. I will definitely be returning to this location!!

I really like the concept of Bartaco. The tacos are flavorful, the sides are awesome, the vibe is great, and it's fast. Some of my favorites: Plantains: You can get them either how they usually come or churro style; they come in cinnamon sugar with chocolate dipping sauce. You can't go wrong either way and they're out of this world. Grilled Corn: Comes with cheese and spices on the outside and it's only around $3 for two pieces. Pork Belly Taco: Crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside--definitely the best taco they have. All around super. You also get a token for a free taco if you fill out the comment card and hand it to the host/hostess on the way out. read more

Sesame Beef tacos!!! Something I didn't know I needed in my life. Honestly this was first time at Bartaco and I was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted and she was super sweet, we were sat down and greeted by the shift lead who removed our flag that I suppose was left up by the prior party. We did order our food which was a small order took about 30 plus to come out (party of 2) it was never identified as to "who our server was" there were approximately 4 faces the only one that was consistent was the bar server. A server came out with a few trays and was not able to identify which table it belonged to he walked to 3 tables finally stopping at us asking to see our order on the phone it wasn't ours, I could only assume he walked it back to the kitchen, then about another 5-7 minutes passed I put up our flag and someone eventually came by I asked were we forgotten as other tables with larger party's had received their food that sat after us. He assured us that ours was coming soon. About 5 minutes later our food came out... it was cold I'm sure it was one of the 3 trays that were shuffled around the restaurant and eventually went back to the kitchen. The service was not ok, especially when also one is forced to pay a 20 percent gratuity... literally we don't even know who got that and whoever it was didn't deserve that. This was the worst experience I've received at bar taco. You have other choices don't make this one your 1st read more

Hands down, this was my best visit to a Barteca restaurant yet. If you aren't familiar with their concepts, they do an excellent job designing modern culinary experiences that look, taste, and feel good. I went in a group of 6 and sat in a booth near the kitchen. It was a very busy Sunday and we were grabbing some food and drinks before going to catch a movie (Wakanda Forever). I was familiar with the ordering process at bartaco but some in our party weren't. Our server, whose name I forgot, was friendly, patient and helpful. We took her recommendation and split two marg carafes. I loved the tacos on both sides of the menu. She let us know that they are small and we would need more than two. The manager stopped by to visit and check on us. He stayed and chatted until our food arrived. For a large concept, I am impressed at how genuine and friendly both staff and management are. read more

I must say, this spot is addicting and the service and management is stellar! I am a frequent diner at the Bartaco and the new manager David is awesome! For starters, before you even plan to come here, if it's a popular time of day, get in line on their app. We went last Saturday (8/18/18) night. We left the house at 7ish and got in line on the app. It said there was a 45 minute wait. When we got there, we checked-in and the wait was down to about 15-20 minutes. Once we took some time and ordered a drink from the bar, our table was ready! This was awesome. Speaking of the bar... wonderful service. It was super busy, but the bartender noticed us almost immediately and provided us with a menu. He was super attentive and friendly as he took our order and managed the multitude of other guests as well. *Note: after we ordered, the manager was walking around and made sure that someone had taken care of us. Nice touch.* We learned at the table that all the food was family style, which is super chill (as is the space). We put in our ticket and I noted on the back that we were celebrating a birthday. All of the food was fantastic. We got the guac + roja + verde. It was fabulous. I LOVE the roja. I need to figure out how I can make it. The server was nice enough to offer to re-fill our chips when we ran out of dips. Awesome touch, yet again. The tacos were all good, we ordered a variety. My STAND OUT favorites were the pork belly and pork carnitas. I could eat them every day and they wouldn't get old. We also got a few of the sides. The corn was tasty, but could use a bit more spice for us flavor-seekers. The chipotle slaw was the same way, lacking in a bit of chipotle spiciness that I was was expecting The beans were a definite miss. Since it was a birthday, we ordered the churros as well. Y-E-S. I would 100% go back for those churros. Other notes: The server brought a nice tequila to celebrate our birthday girl! Nice touch. We had 3 friends (supposed to be 1), show up unexpected. The server and manager were all very accommodating to these unexpected visitors. They let us squeeze and added a chair to the table for us, even though it was clear that we were taking up more than our fair share of space. Lastly, they had a handless QR code system, I was lost at first in using it and Manager Chris came over and provided EXCELLENT customer service! Kudos to Chris! Chris should be promoted to General Manager! I definitely recommend this restaurant! read more

I prefer this location to the Midtown location for sure. The service is super quick and friendly and there's ample seating. Everything is still order and pay by QR code which I really like, nobody really bothers you unless you put the little card up to signal they need service. I couldn't find street parking but there's a parking garage right behind it, I think I paid $7 for about an hour which is kind of steep but if you get lucky, street parking is free. It's also located in a really nice area so you can walk around if you're waiting for a table or to walk off the meal. The duck tacos are absolutely to die for. I love how simple but balanced they are, and whatever broth they come in is something I would drink. Keelah was awesome! She was very attentive and even recommended the duck birria to me which I didn't know they had since I hadn't been in so long. Thanks for the hookup, they were amazing!! I decided on this place, because I wanted authentic tamales... When we entered we were seated, but not explained the restaurants concept. We waited for about 10 minutes in a waiter & no one arrived. We had to flag someone down & they explained the menu & the concept, but we never received a waiter. The tamales were okay! They do have gluten free options... The shrimp taco was horrible!!! The guacamole is very spicy! The salsa verde was sweet. The spicy cucumbers were good. Pineapples with lime was okay! The chicken soup was ok. The grilled chicken was better than more of the taco dishes. The drinks from the bar were fantastic! I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here, but would maybe stop by for a drink and 2 oysters tacos! The customer service was horrible. With no waiter, I had to go to take-out and get cashed out. Many of the items are spicy and it's not listed in the menu! read more

Yum bar taco. You order an array of tacos via a sheet wherein you check off the options. I think the tacos rotate too so it's a good place to revisit. I loved the mahi taco w lettuce wrapped which is quite a butchered form of taco but delicious nevertheless. The only downside was our service wasn't too good - waited astronomically long for my taco as they served others at my table multiple times. Then I had to remind them about three times before finally and triumphantly getting my taco. ********* I updated my review to five stars from four stars.
