Most recently, I worked with Barb at the Ahwatukee location for pelvic floor and leg muscle strengthening after undergoing cancer treatment. I could come in and be treated but they would bill me later I have never had this type of ridiculous interaction with any company that was in my Blue Cross Blue Shield Network I would not recommend this company to anyone I will be looking elsewhere I cannot comment on the physical therapist because I never saw one but the girl who greeted me at the front desk told me all I need to know about this business

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

EVERYONE in this office is so wonderful; I have not had a bad or even mediocre experience here. They have tried numerous options to find pain relief for me and always do their best. I haven't had that kind of care and concern from a doctor's office prior to this office. They work well with my insurance company and if I owe them any money, they work with me and are understanding when it comes to payment options. I love how they tried physical therapy as a means of relief for my pain instead of just prescribing meds for me; and I have even more respect for the fact that they DON'T prescribe habit forming narcotic pain meds either (that is not a good fix for this kind of chronic pain - my personal kind of pain). I love my appointments with Trish (Patricia), she listens to everything I tell her AND even remembers what I've said when I come back in (even if it's been 6 months). She's an all around great woman too! At any rate, after trying less invasive options for pain relief, they were not effective for me and to date I have had a Cervical Epidural Injection, Facet Injections and Radio Frequency Ablations completed with Dr. Kreiner, and he is always fantastic! These are not fun procedures but he (and his staff) really do their best to make it as painless as possible! I cannot conceive of going anywhere else!! Additional phenomenal staff members are Shannon, Vanessa, Becky, Nikki & a few others who I can't remember their names off the top of my head. Staff is ALWAYS pleasant and professional (even on their most stressful days). I also have heard so many compliments that staff members pay to Dr Kreiner & Kozak; that really says a lot about the atmosphere of the office and the kind of doctor's these guys are. I haven't had any personal experience with the other doctors for my care, however just seeing them around the office, they are always friendly and courteous (especially when my toddler is running around the office)!! She listens and is genuinely interested in finding the best path forward. She doesn't just rely on labs but how I feel as well. She's helped with Hashimoto's, GI issues, as well as other issues in a Holistic manner. Before seeing Heather I was extremely frustrated with my healthcare plan. I've received injections of Traumeel for torn meniscus and bursitis which has made an incredible difference to my healing experience! Ryan has provided hands on therapy for a couple of years as well. His approach provides the best pain relief with the least painful techniques. I definitely have a lot of knots due to Hashimoto's, so it is painful but the relief is amazing. I like how Dr Murray focuses on the area needing Chiropractic manipulation while leaving the other areas alone. He's able to hone in on the areas to dry needle as well.
