On Monday 9/2 I went to the Brevard Rd store to add a line to my account and to purchase an…read moreexpensive flip phone for my elderly father-in-law. I had done research online and knew exactly what I needed. I was greeted by an employee, I told her what I needed. She said "oh I just clocked out. You'll just have to wait" I left and went to the store on Smoky Park highway. I was greeted immediately and told them what I needed: to add to my account and to purchase a cheap flip phone. The employee proceeded to try to sell me a $400 phone instead of an $80 phone. I explained this was for an elderly person with minimal phone needs. it felt like he was trying to swindle me, dismissing the purpose of my visit. I ended up returning home and purchasing the phone online.
