They provided a very lovely wake and coordinated everything from start to finish with dignity and grace. I felt at the end as if I had also made a friend with John as he was that close to me and guiding during this time. They and their staff provided a comforting, personalized wake at the West Seneca location. My husband, who was a Viet Nam vet and later went on to work at and retire from VA in Buffalo, had what I'm sure he would have loved. The veteran and national honor provided was wonderful. I mentioned(and others agreed) that this was the perfect place for him to be remembered. The staff took care of everything down to the smallest detail to make this difficult time manageable and as stress free as was possible under the circumstances. They made sure every detail was done to our satisfaction and answered any questions we may have had. They offered advice and suggestions when requested, and we were unsure as to what to do but never pushed anything on us . Planning the final remembrance for a loved one is never easy but Lakeside showed compassion and professionalism throughout the entire time. I would not hesitate to recommend Lakeside in West Seneca to anyone who wants their final wishes for loved ones done perfectly. They could not have done anything better.
