A quiet gathering of past generations at rest with all too many stories of life that would be inspiring to hear. Although today's visit was to remember mom on her last day, which found me alone in this beautiful location, I have always found the staff here to be superb caring people! It shows in the upkeep of the cemetery. A slow walk amongst the headstones and trees can bring a sensual spirit of peace. Amazing how in a well conceived resting place for the dead we can again find life. This two hundred year old cemetery may have its full contingent of resting souls but if you are feeling rushed in life ... you may find rest by walking in its peacefulness.

Just pick up body and cremation, No service, No pictures just a simple collection and service. We don't want our only son to wonder what to do, just like I faced when my father passed. We would appreciate getting this done in a timely manner. I can't believe nobody has called me back, I guess they would rather take advantage of the grief than prearranged death that contains no pressure on love ones. Maybe I should have just left a number and no message. Thank God I wasn't waiting to have them pick up someone dead.

They made my mom look really nice and very much like she did before she was sick, a feat that was impressive. Unfortunately, the other day I had to attend another wake and a service the day after and it was in this location again. The family was able to have a small religious service inside for 100 to 150 people and a military service outside afterward, with absolute organization and a sound system playing the deceased love one's favorite music. The staff was sensitive and, once again, very professional. I would recommend their services to others who need direction and would like a staff thats flexible.

The hall where the service took place was beautiful, besides sympathies, the most common thing I heard was about how great the place looked. They had a couple comfort animals running around and a staff member was always unobtrusively available. They made a wonderful slideshow out of the pictures we gave them. Digitized everything. The most touching part was a display they made, we had discussed interests, hobbies and such. They made a whole display out of the things we talked about with some pictures added on.

For a funeral home in which you would like to be taken care of at a very sad time, it is the worst experience I have ever had. They do not care about the fact you are saying goodbye to a loved one. I ordered a beautiful spray of flowers to be delivered, and when the flowers arrived, the funeral home sent the flowers back because they are not what they wanted. Even though it was the family's wishes for an full open casket, hours before the showing, they closed half of the casket and told us they would never leave it open (even though that is what we were told and planned). When confronting the problem, the owners were very disrespectful. Therefore I beg you to please avoid this place. Go someplace else and say your goodbyes and prayers at a funeral home that will take care of your wishes. This place ruined saying goodbye to a very special family member.
