They and their staff provided a comforting, personalized wake at the West Seneca location. My husband, who was a Viet Nam vet and later went on to work at and retire from VA in Buffalo, had what I'm sure he would have loved. The veteran and national honor provided was wonderful. I mentioned(and others agreed) that this was the perfect place for him to be remembered. The staff took care of everything down to the smallest detail to make this difficult time manageable and as stress free as was possible under the circumstances. They made sure every detail was done to our satisfaction and answered any questions we may have had. They offered advice and suggestions when requested, and we were unsure as to what to do but never pushed anything on us . Planning the final remembrance for a loved one is never easy but Lakeside showed compassion and professionalism throughout the entire time. I would not hesitate to recommend Lakeside in West Seneca to anyone who wants their final wishes for loved ones done perfectly. They could not have done anything better.

Mark's death was hard and Charles and the team were tentative to our needs, made us feel like family and welcomed us with open arms. As the youngest, it's hard to have to deal with loosing half of your family within 3 yrs of each other. I wish death would never happened, but Hamburg is blessed to have this funeral home to assist in your darkest hours.

Paid over $6k for a service, even signed a contract and everything. leading up to my moms service…read morewe got no call back or anything. was told they would call us back...no call back. so we tried and tried contacting and still no CALL BACK. the day of my moms service no one was there. we ended up not burying her with her family :( BUT THE CHECK WAS CASHED. Finally we get a call back from "Mike" and he's drunk at a bar yelling at us for being upset. Not professional at all. This added so much more stress on top of our grief. We flew all the way from Florida to burry my mom here. She deserved so much better. Our whole family is disappointed.
