In fact, after my visit, I think I actually appreciate its rough appearance. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was entering "the real deal" of craft; nothing fancy - just quality. In addition to his beers, he also makes his own spirits and the whiskey was absolutely phenomenal. I'm not a huge whiskey guy so I'm sure a "snobby" person may have a different opinion but it's most definitely worth a shot during your visit. The owner, who was working behind the bar, was extremely personable and seemed to make quick friends with every guest that came in. You could tell he takes a lot of pride in his craft.
