A cashier here made my mom dig through the trash only to still refuse an exchange or refund for his…read moremistake. My mom went to this gas station to buy a vape. She selected her vape flavor and the cashier in the gray hoodie gave her what she thought was her flavor. By the time my mom noticed that he sold her the wrong one, she had already taken it out of the package just outside and threw it away. She went inside to tell the man that she recieved the wrong flavor and this isn't what she wanted to buy. He told her that she needed to get the packaging. So my mom dug around the trash to get the packaging, only to be told that he can't take it back. He told her to get it from the trash, my mom told him it was in the trash. Why make her dig through the trash then?! Why make my aging mother dig around in the trash just to say no to an exchange or refund. YEAH, he didn't offer a refund, but still made her dig in the trash thinking she was gonna get an exchange. That is unacceptable and frankly mean. She shops there all the time, I shop there all the time- but the way that man refused to fix his mistake AFTER he made my mom dig through gas station trash is disgusting behavior. I went to talk to him myself because I thought he was taking advantage of my aging mom and dismissing her. When I told him that my mom's responsibility was to select her flavor while his was to give her the right product, he acknowledged that it was his fault he gave the wrong thing, but that it was my mom's fault for not noticing. What?! In literally, and I mean literally every single scenario where this mistake has happened to me or my mom elsewhere, they fixed their mistake. This man did not. The only negative that I have is they have these big TVs for the customer to watch but it's only sat on the weather Channel, it would be great if they would go back to putting on the sports games or the races since that's a big part of Michigan and it's nice to be able to go in and be able to catch the score of the game! There seems to be an ongoing pattern here a problem that they will not fix. Other people have…read morecomplained of it. It took me an entire 6 minutes to pump 3 gallons of gas on a cold windy day that is unacceptably slow I will never come back here for the rest of my life. And then on top of that the pump wouldn't give me a receipt I had to go inside and wait in line for people buying all sorts of stupid stuff. What do you think the concept of pay at the pump is for? The door handles have grease on them and the store is filthy. The last time I used this gas station was in 2001 just before the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The people who owned it at that time Jacked the price up to $5 a gallon that day. The only reason I set foot in here today is I was running on fumes and I didn't think I'd make it to Meijer's down the road. Next time I'll just run out of gas and walk before I set foot in this place. As the Brits would say..."this place is rubbish."
