I've never seen so many people so happy at one place (staff and customers). Everybody knows each other and happy to be alive. Good energy here. Huge selection of snacks, drinks, and other convenience items. Subway next door, and Sam's deli inside.

Didn't get an exact name but the young man earlier today was actually quite helpful and very friendly. Knew enough about cars and computers to get me through. Gas prices were a bit higher than the neighborhood but it was the easiest stop and someone in the car wanted to try their chicken. Easy access to the pumps, good customer service and my passenger decided against the chicken. Nice. 05/24

Speaking of grilling, having a few friends over? Cool! They have beer and liquor, make it a party! Is everyone bringing their kids? Pick up some chips, candy, and ice cream and send them home sticky and wired off sugar! Don't feel like cooking? Call in some pizza, or pick up some pre cooked chicken. Just need a pack of smokes and some gas? Yeah, they got that too! Love this little place! I almost never have to go to a chain grocery store. Friendly people and service. I definitely recommend this little store. 9/10 easy. Very seldom do they not have what you need. The specialty pizzas are a must try!

The chicken wrap I got out of the cooler for lunch was surprisingly fresh. I was warmly greeted when I walked in. Unless you're determined to save a penny or two on a gallon on gas, no reason not to pull in here if you or your car need refueling when you're passing by.

There are several others in Toledo that I had good experiences with. But do not visit the one in Sylvania on McCord. The general manager seems lost and snobby. She obviously bit off more than she could chew. She looks down on others from her soapbox. I have never met such a fake person in my life. She was absolutely horrible to work for. She has no idea what she's doing. She's going to run that store into the ground. She should stick to stop and Go. She took the fun out of everything. There was so much laughter and fun and camaraderie in the beginning and she managed to squash any of that. It went from being a place that everybody like to work at to a place that people were forcing themselves to come to work. I watched attitudes slowly decline. There wasn't any laughter. No wonder why she lost her trophy. Why would anybody want to work hard for somebody that doesn't appreciate the hard work that her team members do. She pushed all the crap jobs on the few hard workers and let the slackers just slide. And if anything was said she would straight dog you. She has no management skills whatsoever. She just seems absolutely clueless. As a team member I know how her employees really felt about her. She really should just quit. She has managed to turn the whole store against her. Nobody even likes working there anymore. Not for her a good manager has empathy and sympathy and understanding. Is honest and leads by example. She seemed to be intimidated by me is all I can think of. Because I personally didn't do anything to her women are intimidated by other strong women but only if you're insecure and she managed to put me down to where I felt bad about myself because of whatever her personal feelings are for me.Jobs come and go. I'll get another one. This isn't the case of me being salty this is a warning for any strong-minded female that makes the general manager feel inferior. I often ran circles around her. I was constantly moving and cleaning and hustling. I have a strong work ethic. But because I have a broken home life and mental health issues she managed to use those against me and then fired me the day after my son got out of the hospital. SMH
