Haven't been to Barrett's Ale House in years because it wasn't as welcoming and clean as it should have been. We returned to see if there's been an improvement and I'm happy to say they have! We went in for the Greek pizza and the fish and chips. Jayda, our waitress was very nice and efficient as she was very attentive. The fish and chips were very delicious and fresh. A light batter, which I always look for and the pizza was amazing! Our first time trying this and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend. We will be sure to return!

Random night down south to get some ice roll but thought to bring the family for food before dessert. I love the Bridgewater location so why not try here? The server seemed to either not want to be there or didn't want to serve us but even my 14 year old daughter asked why was he so rude. Otherwise the food was pretty good other than the chicken parm egg rolls which were disgusting and overpriced. I sadly would rather try somewhere else if ever in town and hungry again.

Nice stop along the route of my bike ride around the Taunton river. Stopped in and sat at the bar, had to have the stuffed quohog, I was on southeast Massachusetts after all! And then had the fish tacos, excellent! And very friendly service at the bar!

Waitress was super friendly and personable. Had a smile the entire way through and made us laugh a few times. Everything on the menu sounded delicious but we ended up order shrimp scampi potato skins from the specials menu. Such a unique pairing, but the combination worked so seamlessly. The berry salad was presented beautifully. The colors really popped and everything was so fresh and delightful. Cajun pasta is an absolute must!!!! Available as is with chicken or with seafood. I opted for the seafood version and it was 100% the correct decision. So creamy and full of flavor, as well as loaded with shrimp and salmon. They do not skimp on the shrimp here! Unfortunately we were to full afterwards to order dessert but will be back for another round. There is also an arcade located inside which was loads of fun. Something fun for all ages. Ambiance is casual and chill.

told you we would be back soon! this place does not miss - the cali turkey blta was incredible. i don't usually like fries but these are my favorite - so crispy and tasty! i got a side of the thai chili peanut sauce to dip my fries in and omg so good. as a foodie, i have to say, this place is high on my list for sure!

Excellent service, clean establishment, a little pricey but you get PLENTY of food for your money. It's comfortable with lots of Sports on the monitors. They also have a game room for the kids or kids at heart. I will definitely eat here again!

We decided to go here as they advertised as a sports bar. Sports bars that I have been to in my years usually have ALL the football games going on Sunday. Well, not them. They only showed the two games on the big networks. We stayed anyway to sample their food. The clam chowder was average. However, we were taken aback, in a GOOD way, as to how delicious the Belgian Waffle pizza was. The Chocolate Chip Molten Cake for dessert was also nice. The service was average.

This Barrett's isn't as nice as the waterfront location, but they have a similar menu and their food has been pretty good as well. I usually split the boneless buffalo wings with my boyfriend and get a small Greek salad. Both are pretty tasty. They have an arcade inside, which is nice for those times when there's a wait and you have young kids, gives them something to do. All of their servers have been super friendly and checked in on us frequently.

Fun atmosphere. I wish they had more vegetarian options, but I'm glad they have a veggie burger. Great place for a group and kids.

The pizza was mostly cheese, the burger was severely dry, & everything came to the table cold. A waste of money for sure.

My initial visit was on a Monday night when they had all kinds of cheese specials for $10. Including a delicious cheese pizza. However on my second trip I discovered the real value was on their Sunday specials where you get a soup or salad, 1/2 portion of lasagna, a choice of chicken entree and a special pasta. All for $29. Needless to say there were doggie bags coming home with us. Dani our server was a sheer delight and most punctual with her attention to us. Needless to say I will be returning for a third visit soon!

My son especially enjoyed seeing the bridge all lit up at night. The restaurant is spacious with both a bar and dining area. In warmer weather, the outside deck is also an option. Our waiter came almost immediately to take our drink order. The complimentary bread that was warm, doused in a garlic oil ,and sprinkled with Italian seasoning is divine. I could make a meal out of that alone. We started with Italian dusted parmesan fries. Everyone thought these had a striking resemblance to McDonald's shoestring fries, just with way better seasoning. They got scoffed up in a matter of minutes. My son got the kids cheese pizza. It was literally a full size 12 inch (if I had to guess). My daughter got the penne vodka. I thought it was pretty basic but she likes that. I ordered the basil tortellini alfredo and the flavors bursting out of this dish were amazing. The chicken that sat atop the pasta was perfectly grilled as well. We were all very satisfied with our meal and service here and would be happy to come back if ever in the area again.

We do try to make a reservation for brunch, as I know there's usually a wait. I will say that the decor in the tipsy is one of its biggest drawers. Whoever is decorating, definitely knows what they're doing! The fireplace at the center of the restaurant is always tastefully decorated for the season. I absolutely love it! I had quite a few other $20 lobster rolls specials this summer. The amount of lobster that they give you for $20, and being able to pick your side is one of the best deals around. Not to mention the quality of the food for the $20. My Caesar salad was absolutely delicious too! The other picture I posted is one of my favorite salads that they used to make with the goat cheese "arancini". I really do miss that side, so hopefully they'll bring a back one day. It was quite the meal!

I ordered the Pumpkin Cold Brew Float which is a non alcoholic drink and got brought an alcoholic chai martini, thankfully I'm not pregnant or sober. The service was our big issue here. When they came they were pleasant however it was clear there just wasn't enough staff. There were two waitresses for the entire restaurant. Outside, upstairs, and downstairs. The gaps in between service were long, waiting for food and drinks was long, and waiting to get our bill was long. We were waiting for over 30 minutes finished with napkins on plates. The table next to us got seated, drinks, food, and was rung out before we were.

Apparently, the place just changed hands in the past month or two. Inside it looks about the same although the menu has changed somewhat. I can't determine what was added or deleted, but it just strikes me as a different menu. I got two dogs all the way without onion in order of fries and a coffee milk The fries came out and my shoestring, which are not exactly my favorite type of fry, but they were fried well. Apparently, if you ask for fat french fries you'll get the thicker cut ones which I will remember for next time. The hot dogs were well cooked and sauced. The buns seemed fresh. Service was friendly and prompt. The inside was largely the same as I remembered it. I sat at the counter and could view the galley kitchen, which seemed to be very clean. Prices weren't bad. I will likely return.
