(1) July 2023: I purchased a house that was built in 1967 that had several plumbing issues including: * Disconnected pipes in the storage closet, attic, and crawlspace * Cracked and corroded metal pipes in the crawlspace * Leaking pipes in the crawlspace Woods Plumbing gave me a fair quote, then they sent a team of 4 professionals, Wylie, Donnie, Roland, and Damien, who took care of the issues in a timely manner. (2) October 2023: I had tiles laid that raised the level of the bathroom floor so I needed the Woods Plumbing to raise the flange to floor level so that the commode could connect properly. David arrived the next day! Done and done! (3) October 2023: There was a blockage in the pipes on a Sunday causing the pipes to burst and the washing machine, bathtub, and toilet to overflow. I called Woods Plumbing and, Christian, the plumber on call arrived in less than an hour. He fixed the busted pipe, but was unable to find the source of the clog. (By the time I called him, it was already dark, so it may have been more difficult.) After I returned from my travels, Donnie found the source and resolved the issue in less than an hour. I really appreciated that he asked if he needed to take his boots off. Mel really gave my son and I the southern hospitality vibe which we adored. He was very knowledgeable in his trade and knew exactly how to fix the issues at hand. My son's shower had a leak due to the handle being loose and a cartridge having gone bad on the internal mechanism. My house is 20+ years old so slowly things are starting to go bad. Mel did not have the part needed on hand, but that wasn't an issue for him. He went to 3 different stores to find the part I needed and ensured that my son had a working shower the same day. (which is much appreciated since he is 13 years old) Also fixed was my garbage disposal, it was a quicker job, but not only did he make sure the disposal was properly installed; he made sure to clean up after himself as well! Repeated misspelling of my name in correspondence also raised concerns about attention to detail. Due to these issues, we chose not to proceed. Now, the install works, both hot and cold function exactly as intended, but cosmetically it missed the mark. The spigot doesn't sit flush and the pipes are slightly crooked. Not a deal-breaking safety issue, just one of those things where you look at it and think, "Hmm... that could've been cleaner." Functional, but visually not their strongest performance. Overall, Bell Cow is responsive, friendly, and competitively priced. I appreciate the quick communication and solid operation of the spigot.
