So as a courtesy as we wait we were lucky enough to attend this second class just the other day. The first class we did was a 30 min pilates class, this time we did a 30 min yoga class. There are so many aspects we like about Hotworx. Working out in your own private sauna is so calming. Controlling not only the heat but the lightening and sound too. The virtual instructors really do keep you motivated throughout the challenging workout. We find they are really helpful in keeping you going through the hot, tough session. After both sessions we are dripping with sweat, but our muscles feel alive and exhausted. We make sure to try to hydrate well after each session. Completing a workout at Hotworx feels like an accomplishment. You should try it out sometime for yourself.

They have…read moreexperienced physical therapists who are very helpful in providing relief from pain relief in various parts of the body. They are always friendly and are eager to help us. When I was suffering from knee pain, I found them at the nearest physical therapy center when I searched on the internet. They conducted various diagnosis processes to find out the cause of my pain. The physical therapists provided me with specific exercises and therapies to practice for a certain period. And it proved to help me feel better after doing those. I would strongly recommend you visit them if you suffer from any musculoskeletal problems.

The space is practical in how it's set up and I loved how open it is. So many Pilates / Yoga studios in the area are missing this aspect! I didn't expect the level of intensity to be high but it was a great burn! Katie is great in instructing breath work and the exercises, which I appreciate. The room was quite toasty, about 98-100 degrees F, which was great bc I prefer a class like this. My only critique is that the playlist wasn't my favorite and was a bit sleepy but not a big deal. Overall my experience at Union Yoga Studio is a 10/10! O, also! I forgot to mention that the community here is incredible & diverse!! I was observing the interactions between the other attendees and wanted to call this out. Always a plus to see this.

When I finally had a month without going out of town I signed up for the $10 intro month for new clients. This is such a great deal since each class is $10 plus. You go twice and it paid for itself. The yoga was challenging and the room was hot. I splurged on a thick yoga mat and non slip towel from Amazon so that I was prepared. I signed up for 26 and 2 which is a hot yoga that incorporates 26 poses twice. I went at my own pace. When I felt I needed to sit, I just sat and breathed and did not try to overdo it. I would say that the heat does make you stretch a bit more than without. I did not realize my body could bend the way it did without injuring myself. The feeling afterwards is exhilarating! You start off standing for half the poses and then you get to lay down for the rest. It ends with a breathing exercise and the best part is when she lets you meditate in the dark and hands you an ice cold lavender oil towel. I absolutely love it! I think this is for everyone. There were beginners as well as advanced, while some just layed on their backs for the sauna effect. Pooja is the owner and instructor and her voice is so soothing but still very persuasive to push yourself. Every time I leave the class, I'm at least 10 lbs lighter from sweating. I feel so accomplished like I did something good for my body and my mind. Self care is not Selfish, it's mandatory. When I drive my 25 mns. Back to my house all I can think about is when can I go back? I need to book again.

He definitely delivered. The girls who made the check in easy were friendly and informative about the membership and prices. I did forget my socks and luckily they had a ton of options and even walked me through on what were the best type. Freddy had us on and off the equipment multiple times during our session. It was a good sweat and I wasn't even mad about it because of how amazing I felt during and after the workout.

Renie has helped me for many years with her Yamuna body rolling. I met her in a Pilates class and…read moreknew how well she knows her anatomy and how our movement affects our whole body. So I signed up for a session as soon as I could. Oh, does she ever know how to find a problem area restricting our motion! She has helped me with neck and shoulder pain, hip pain, and low back pain among many other things. The cool thing is she knows how all these 'problem areas' relate to everywhere else. This is the best deep massage and release I've ever experienced. I highly recommend her!

Although their facility…read moreis beautiful, the class schedule is pretty good but somewhat lacking in the evenings and particularly lacking for aquacise. Although I was told that children were only in certain areas, they are all over the exercise pool area and the lap pool. (What they told me about them not being in the locker rooms was true, at least when I left.) Your lane reservation may or may not mean anything. Your aquacise class may be crammed in between swim lessons and it will be extremely crowded (again, in the evenings. Daytime weekday classes are in the lap pool and are somewhat safe.) I don't know what the parents of those kids were promised but they will sit in the pool room and stare at you during your class. It was so unpleasant the last time I went, I decided it WAS the last time. You want this pool so bad you let your kids run in and almost knock me over while I'm trying to get out? Take it, but I ain't subsidizing your kid's lessons either. All of the instructors are great, the facility is clean, and they didn't give me any trouble when I quit. From at least one review, it appears this may have changed.
