My new favorite place for self care! I came here last year for a Yelp event, and had such a great…read moreexperience, I always wanted to come back. When I finally had a month without going out of town I signed up for the $10 intro month for new clients. This is such a great deal since each class is $10 plus. You go twice and it paid for itself. The yoga was challenging and the room was hot. I splurged on a thick yoga mat and non slip towel from Amazon so that I was prepared. I signed up for 26 and 2 which is a hot yoga that incorporates 26 poses twice. I went at my own pace. When I felt I needed to sit, I just sat and breathed and did not try to overdo it. I would say that the heat does make you stretch a bit more than without. I did not realize my body could bend the way it did without injuring myself. The feeling afterwards is exhilarating! You start off standing for half the poses and then you get to lay down for the rest. It ends with a breathing exercise and the best part is when she lets you meditate in the dark and hands you an ice cold lavender oil towel. I absolutely love it! I think this is for everyone. There were beginners as well as advanced, while some just layed on their backs for the sauna effect. Pooja is the owner and instructor and her voice is so soothing but still very persuasive to push yourself. Every time I leave the class, I'm at least 10 lbs lighter from sweating. I feel so accomplished like I did something good for my body and my mind. Self care is not Selfish, it's mandatory. When I drive my 25 mns. Back to my house all I can think about is when can I go back? I need to book again.

Sunday morning Hot Sculpt with Katie was a treat. Firstly, the studio is insanely adorable. I just…read morehad to take pictures to show off the space. The space is practical in how it's set up and I loved how open it is. So many Pilates / Yoga studios in the area are missing this aspect! I didn't expect the level of intensity to be high but it was a great burn! Katie is great in instructing breath work and the exercises, which I appreciate. The room was quite toasty, about 98-100 degrees F, which was great bc I prefer a class like this. My only critique is that the playlist wasn't my favorite and was a bit sleepy but not a big deal. Overall my experience at Union Yoga Studio is a 10/10! O, also! I forgot to mention that the community here is incredible & diverse!! I was observing the interactions between the other attendees and wanted to call this out. Always a plus to see this.

We have been members since the gym opened as Aspen. Although it was never a great gym it was worth…read morethe 10$ a month per member. At one point many machines were down for long periods of time but recently that has not been an issue. our major issue has been billing we at one point had 5 people on the account and would typically get at least 3 transactions a month and sometimes more. The maintenance fees that were always in Dec started coming out some in Jun some in Oct others Dec. It became a mystery what would show up on our statement each month then we would go in and the person behind the desk said they were not sure we would get a call from a manager and they would kinda explain it but could never get the billing to come out as one transaction or give us any detailed billing. At one point one of my sons got dropped off the account he was not using it much so we just did not fight to get him back on. On a regular basis we were stopped when we came in and told we were not member's. After arguing and missing half our workouts it would be resolved until the next time. In Dec my older son's moved out of state we told them to remove them from the account. We were informed they had to give 30 days notice via certified mail. Because they were 18 ok this is annoying but its a rule I get that and we followed the rule. My wife and I considered all leaving at the same time but decided to stay on. With out notice on Jan 1st my membership doubled in price. I decided at that time we would all leave we filled out the paper work and I even confirmed with Miguel a manager and Estavan the owner that as of Feb 11th we were done they assured me we had nothing else to do. So this morning we look on the account we were still billed for my wife because she had not signed to leave. I had asked if we had anything else while my wife was onsite and they could have had her sign the paper then. Also one of my sons was also still charged and we had a certified letter of him sending his notice to leave. It has been a billing nightmare working with this company and is boarding on fraudulent billing. We are currently expecting a refund for the most recent deduction and will not contact Kore if further billing goes through it will be handled as Fraud through our bank. In short decent inexpensive gym if you can get past the billing nightmare.

The staff is friendly and helpful every time I've needed something or had a question. Great class…read moreofferings, lots of equipment and great atmosphere.
